The counselors and the rest of the staff are amazing, the facilities are nice, the rooms are very comfortable and the food very delicious. I would recommend this place to all the people who suffer and need treatment. Definitely this experience changed my life, I am a new person with a lot of desire to live and enjoy life but free of drugs and alcohol.

I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

After 7 years in recovery, I relapsed for the first time and found myself in my first treatment center, The Next Door. I have mental health issues coupled with addiction. I have to say that I was and am still completely impressed with the program, the amount of care, and the amazing women who make up what is The Next Door. They not only address the most pressing issue, which is substance abuse, they also take into account the mental health issues and how they are inextricably linked, not to mention, help to mitigate the sometimes serious physical side effects brought about by the co-occuring disorders. I have trouble finding words to express just how life saving, life affirming, and incredibly life changing it was to be a patient at TND. They continue to support me in my journey and teach me how to live life learning to become the best version of myself as long as I want it and am willing to do the work with open-mindedness and honesty. The Next Door gives new life!

I loved this place from the first time I visited it, the admission staff treated me in a loving, polite and professional manner. The nurses are excellent, they are fun but professional at the same time. The doctors are compassionate and try to understand the patient's pain in the best way. I'm happy to have this place.

Been going since Oct 29, 2020, and am SO thankful they started taking TennCare. That was my last "excuse" I couldn't pay for both(drugs and the weekly fee), so I promised my family when they started taking my insurance I would go. Now, they do start you on a low dose, but it's for your safety and they move you up decently fast. They have gotten so much better in the 4 years I have been going. The staff now is much more caring than when I first started. Without them, I would probably be dead. I have been able to go on several vacations, do things with my family I wasn't able to do while on drugs, and enrolled in college to obtain my Associates Degree in Medical Billing and Coding. I send everyone I can there, and the ones that want to change have thanked me for sending them. If you truly want to get clean, they will help you. It's not easy, it is a process, and you have to put in the work, but BHG will do everything within the laws and statutes to assist you!

Dr. Marianne Raynes at Centerstone has made a tremendous difference in my life. A couple of weeks ago, I was in a really difficult place, and she took the time to truly listen, talk things through with me, and thoughtfully evaluate what I was experiencing. Together we discussed my options, and she helped me make an informed decision about my medication.
The results were almost immediate, the change has completely turned things around for me. I am so grateful for her compassion, patience, and the genuine care she shows her patients. She didn’t rush the visit and made me feel heard and supported during a very vulnerable moment.

Losing my husband broke something in me. Tristar felt safe, and the nurses were so patient, which I needed. Detox was rough, but they helped me through gently. I appreciated the group time most, sharing with folks who actually understood. Wish they had more grief-specific support, tho. Still, I left with more hope than I came in with. I came to Tristar for my son after many hard years. As a mom and a nurse, I needed somewhere with strong clinical care and real spiritual support. The staff were mostly kind, professional, and I liked that they offered family sessions too. We joined in on some education meetings which really helped me feel included. Had labs drawn at this location. As soon as i checked in my name was called. Very friendly lab tech. On the way out, the front desk gave me a parking decal to put in my window for next time (second level parking is sectioned off for Veterans) and she also gave me a sticker that paid for my parking time.

This was my very first visit to the VA. I was a little apprehensive with all the stories in the news are care at the VA, etc. I have to admit, I was very surprised. From check in at the desk to check out when I was done, this location treated me with respect and it was obvious they were concerned for my health care. The staff and doctor I encountered could not have been better! They were truly cared about my health and made sure I had any tests I needed. I want to say thank you to everyone there who made my first visit a pleasant experience.

I can say every time I have visited this place while go to visit my best friend and her mother “The Hope Center,”is always on our to-do list the people that worked there are absolutely awesome. I’ve never gone there when I didn’t end up purchasing more than I was planning too. You need to check this place out. You will not be disappointed!!! It’s without out five stars plus 5 more stars !!! You have to be an ACTIVE participant in your friend/family’s care, otherwise, you will get lost in the shuffle. Meaning that you have to make the phone calls, ask to talk to the Dr, nurse and social worker.
Building is old and dirty and they are likely short staffed like everyone else.

You will not find a better place to be a patient than this. The staff here is outstanding and will do everything they can to accommodate your needs and get you taken care of. They probably saved my life. Just be up front and honest about everything and let them make it work.
It is the attitude of the staff and the level of comfort I feel when I go there that has made it so easy to continue going and stay on this path. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I continue to go weekly instead of going down to less appointments each month.
The point is if you need a service that they offer here, do yourself a favor and at least come check it out. If you have any questions beforehand, feel free to give me a shout.

I love my therapist Ashley!!! She is kind, sweet and understanding and knows what to say and is a very good explainer on topics. All the front desk employees and healthcare providers I work with are nice as well!!! I look forward to therapy because I know it’s going to be a GREAT experience :)

Never thought I'd ever need this place. But, the warmth, compassion, support, and therapy was just what I needed. Stephanie always has a warm smile and welcoming attitude. Angel is helpful and available. The counseling is compassionate ( Naji, Deanne, Ray, Heather, and Holly great groups and 1:1) well worth it. The medical staff is available and listens. I’ll give it 4 stars but when I was there they had me and my 6 month old baby sitting in our rooms looking at the walls after group for the first couple months 5 days a week with limited baby toys. Tv is only allowed on weekends you might get to watch it during the week . I struggled with that because it’s hard sitting in your room with a baby and nothing else .

Oak plaines saved my child’s life. Literally. She had so much testing done that primary doctors don’t do. I was a resident at Oak Plains Academy from September 2018 to April 2019. It wasn't perfect when I was there. I mean some staff members did lose a bag of my possessions and never got returned to me, but I had the ability to learn a bunch of stuff I'd never been able to learn from the kind hearts from staff members. And all in all it did shape me into being a better person.
