St lukes is the best place for medical appointments and procedures I've ever been to.They are leaps and bounds above the other hospitals and clinics, they treat you like a person, (not some trash) they aren't a fake nice either, they really care. Had my sweet baby in via c section in May 2024 and my experience was the absolute best.I had a c section previously in Cambridge and that was an absolute crap shoot. St Luke's took everything I put in my birth plan and made sure it was 100% followed. It was very smooth. Dr. Swanson is an amazing OB and helped me through a very trying pregnancy. Our room in the birthing center was wonderful, the care of all the birthing center staff and their attentiveness is unbeatable.I had infusions for iron at the infusion center - they were wonderful and very prompt.I also had a hospital stay during my pregnancy for a kidney stone. The room was small but other than that, the staff were great. They informed me of everything that was going on. I also ended up having a cystoscopy and Dr. Carrie was very understanding of my concerns and very informative. Having all this during a pregnancy was very nerve racking and my care team was attentive to my needs and helped me through every step of the way.I prefer to drive here than to any local hospital. Only improvement - different pillows...the pillows are not very comfortable.

My experience at Aspirus St. Luke's was fantastic. There was a surgery that was required. I arrived early in the morning and the team was prompt and had me admitted and into the prep area rather quickly. All the nurses were friendly and helpful for the start and post operation. It was nice to have smiling friendly faces after I awoke from the procedure. It's always interesting to see the bad comments about hospitals. This is a difficult role and my experience was very positive. Five stars plus.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with St. Luke's Mental Health Clinic. I truly hope that my review helps others considering seeking care here. When I entered the building for my first appointment, I was guided to a private room and sat down with a very kind woman who then asked me to share my story. At the end of the hour, she looked at her clipboard and said, "I think (therapist name) is going to be a great fit for you." I was so impressed that St. Luke's took the time to match patients with a therapist who would be their best fit, instead of just sticking them in available slots or making them choose based on online bios. I have been with my therapist for many years now and I can say she is the perfect therapist for my needs, and I am so grateful for the lovely woman who matched us together. What an answer to prayers! Not only was the staff so caring and gentle, but the women that came through these doors were the crutch I needed on days when I could not stand on my own. This program literally saved me from jumping off a bridge. They gave me hope for the future and restored my belief in myself again. I stepped into this house at the darkest time in my life, when vision was blinded by disparities & my heart hardened to the beauty around me. I lived in silence and tried to hide from reality in any way I could find. By the 2nd week, bits of sunshine began to break through the gloom. Eventually a smile would shock the woman sitting next to me. By the time my program was complete, I had been reborn. I owe my life to this place. With a MAJOR shout out to October Allen, who was the glimmer of hope that began knocking down the rocks that were preventing me from moving. Today, I have full custody of my kids. Kathy Javis, the owner of this amazing place, found me at a time in life when I was on the verge of giving up. A time when I was lost and didn't know where to turn. I was hopeless, ashamed, terrified....defeated. Kathy listen to me. She heard me. Care cared about me. She stood by my side as I was mauled over by life. When I felt like giving up she was there to remind me how far I had come and she kept my mind focused on the rewards. Kathy was able to see the person I was inside and she looked passed the person who was addicted. I was with Kathy for nearly 4 years of my life. She helped me through the pain of what I now know was abuse. She helped me find my confidence back, she helped me find reasons to smile. She taught me to stand up for myself and helped me with setting boundaries, she taught me that I didn't have to live in fear. Because of Kathy, today I am happier than I ever knew was possible. There are no words to empress my gratitude to her. She saved my life and she saved my daughters' lives. She gave me the gift of a lifetime. This kind of gift is rare. Fresh Start is the best treatment center I've ever experienced. I love everything about it. The counselors are awesome. Had a great time there and met lots of new friends. I love the location also lots of parks and everything you need all downtown duluth. The food is awesome.

Being an IRT faculty this is by far the best one in MN. it is for women only and can hold up to 10. Staff have different backgrounds and the ability to meet different women where they are at. On an average a day, three groups and one 1:1 in counter with staff. Three meals plus snacks. Daily chores and residence help cook on the weekends. Community time after your first ten days, 2-5 pm daily. They support lady s attending out side support groups. Like AA, NA, CR. Most rooms are single bed. You can keep your electronics recommending not having them in group or during meal time.What you put in to learning for your new self is what you get out.
