At first this place seemed to be a really good place. I left at 30 days because my safety/security was jeopardized. They allowed a resident to stay there after she had returned to the house from a home visit and was clearly high. They tried covering it up by saying that there are many different mental illnesses and this could be a symptom of hers. I was told not to talk about it with other residents but they all knew too. Casey, the program manager spoke to me (and others) in a disrespectful manner and condescending. She was only there to do her job, which was to keep the beds filled to keep money flowing in.Do not go here! Like other previous reviews, you won't be safe here.

Being an IRT faculty this is by far the best one in MN. it is for women only and can hold up to 10. Staff have different backgrounds and the ability to meet different women where they are at. On an average a day, three groups and one 1:1 in counter with staff. Three meals plus snacks. Daily chores and residence help cook on the weekends. Community time after your first ten days, 2-5 pm daily. They support lady s attending out side support groups. Like AA, NA, CR. Most rooms are single bed. You can keep your electronics recommending not having them in group or during meal time. What you put in to learning for your new self is what you get out.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Nope.

First off... I am a transman. Danny wasnt the name I was going by back then however. A handful of people tried to care about us. But the other half were cruel. It was not okay to send people with anxiety and panic on bus routes to god knew where .

i was there on commitment for 3 months in summer 2023 and it was great! (well, as good as it could’ve been given my circumstances). i made a lot of friends and there was a given a lot of freedom. we got free time and were allowed to leave the house. most rooms were only 1 bed, but if you were placed in a 2 bed room you could make a request to switch. we went to the lake all the time. we went to places around the city. groups weren’t that long and food was served to us every meal. there was a bedtime, but you could still be on your phone in bed. if you were in your room for a long time, they did checks every hour. they did this throughout the night as well, meaning staff was there 24/7. i would’ve rated this 5 stars, but it’s only 4 because i swear to god that house was haunted. but overall great place!!

This facility fails to keep their residents safe, which should be their number one priority. I would encourage you to look elsewhere, as you will not be safe from harm here. My time here hindered my recovery instead of progressed it, and I wish I would have gone somewhere that cares about the health and progress of its residents. It is important to add that there was also a lot of abuse inflicted by some of the staff members. There was one male staff member named Ryan who told me that “rape is just a result of young men experiencing a flux of hormones” after I tried to get support with my PTSD. He repeatedly told me that sexual abuse and assault was nothing and that I just needed to “get over it” and “stop looking for attention.” When I went to the program manager about this, she said that he is allowed to express his opinion and did nothing wrong. I repeatedly asked management to give their staff trainings on trauma-informed care and sensitivity, but they constantly invalidated me and told me I just needed to get over it. Most of the women who go here have a history of sexual abuse or assault, so the program needs to realize that trauma informed care is a necessity and that you can’t just “get over” 10 years of childhood sexual abuse. I wish they had treated me with respect, but they constantly invalidated me, gaslighted me, and belittled me.

Rules don't apply to everyone they correct you but not outher allow outher house mates to joke swear talk about sexual things and war stories but when you do it's frowned about allow others to break and bend the rules but not you they are hypocrites. Some staff werr genuine outher deciteful and manipulative. To the ones that really to the time to get to know me and share and care.thanks to the rest I hope you stop pushing people away. Treatment is not a one size fits all. I didn't fit in or belong I wasn't accepted from day one
