I ve had a very good experience with Valhalla Place in Woodbury. One time the building had water damage and I had to wait like 2-3 hours at another clinic to get dosed. But that was a freak thing.Valhalla has saved my life. I ve never had an issue there that wasn t my own doing.Been coming for like 12 years and I just do not see any of the negatives that people have listed. The second best thing was going to Hazelden.It's a beginning, it's not a solution. So don't fool yourself into thinking they will solve your problems. If I would have continued to drink, I would not be typing this right now. I would be dead. Gwen and Scott are the best. I tried other treatments, but this one is definitely the best. All the other ones I tried, were for profit, and it truly showed, they were more interested in moving you to a higher level of care than actually helping you. I learned more about myself at the shore than I have in my last 4 inpatient treatments. The combination of drug and alcohol treatment with mental health treatment was very helpful. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a great n new experience with treatment. They treated us like adults. The location is perfect and the staff is by far some of the best, kind, caring, and respectful I've been around. Huge thank you to this place.

While I can't speak for the in-person services provided, we had a wonderful experience via phone communication. We were trying to help a family member navigate treatment options. We called on a Saturday to discuss what detox services might look like. Tony was the staff member who took our call. He was incredibly informative, kind and non-judgmental. He explained the process for being admitted, what to expect over the days of treatment, and also what we could expect from our family member specific to meth withdrawal. We were fortunate that we were able to get our family member directly into an intensive residential treatment facility, but the information he provided was so helpful in the interim! It took me a couple of months to get around to writing this review, but huge shout out to Tony!

I moved from Florida to have a surgery done at Gillette for my daughter with CP. She had a surgery about five years ago and the aftercare has been wonderful! Her surgeon Dr. Georgiotis did a beautiful job. He explained everything in detail. He has great bedside manner, and has treated us very well over the years. We also enjoyed our stay there which included a one week stay after the surgery, and another 4 to 5 weeks stay for her inpatient.

If I could remember everyone s names from start to finish of our 24 hour stay I would certainly give thanks to them all. Every single staff member we came across was beyond kind and helpful. My daughter and son had amazing experiences and they actually have BRAGGED about surgery to their little 4 and 2 year old friends. You guys made everything so easy. I was beyond impressed with everyone however I d like to give one specific shout out to Megan a PICU RN that was spending her time in the Rehab unit. She was our first nurse to attend to our recovery room with my son for his 24 hour stay. My son loved her and she was GREAT with him. Made sure she got to know him, showered him with love, and constantly was his cheerleader. Hoping she receives some sort of recognition or more for her excellent patient care.

Great experience so far. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. The "lines" that exist at other clinics don't appear to exist at this place. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for anything. It's very clean outside, you don't have people at the entrance asking if you want to buy Xanax and other b.s.I have nothing negative to say, just an overall good experience. Very greatful for this place.

I have fought my mental health since I was a teen. (51 now)I was in United Hospital for a few weeks after being off my meds and having some "issues". After the hospital I came here for 90 days of intensive treatment. It has literally changed my life and outlook ON life more than I could've ever imagined. The staff and the other residents have been amazing. I got my meds all lined up and have been taking them religiously. The groups and the actual treatment has helped me enormously to the point that friends I had lost because of WHO I had become with my bipolar flaring up have come back and are so supportive. I will never forget what Maghakian Place has done for me and there's still two months to go. If you need help, trust me....it's out there. Don't be afraid to WIN the battle you've been fighting!!!!! I ve never had an issue here. The only thing I wish I knew is that lab appts are REQUIRED, so don t think you re going to be able to drop in at any point. They have an urgent care that saw me quickly and fixed my issue promptly too. I ve never been in and out of an urgent care in 30 mins before! Staff is always friendly. Could not have had a better experience. My wife was experiencing the worst sickness I have seen, took her to regions, and they discharged her after 45 minutes when she hasn t stopped throwing up and was in a complete episode. Immediately went to United with very little hope, and every single staff from the front desk to every nurse cafeteria worker was so kind, compassionate, helpful, they didn t stop working until they found what was wrong and her symptoms were treated. Amazing people who saved my wife s life in the most convienent way possible

Drew is one of the few individuals who I met who really cares about his clients. His intervention was very comprehensive and he did everything he could to make sure that my son got into treatment and that the rehab center was able to offer the services appropriate for his needs.

The people of this place really care about the patients and do everything in their power to meet their needs, they are the best I have seen in a center of this kind. I recommend this program for people with mental illnesses and problems with addiction, I assure you that you will have a great experience.

The staff here actually care about you and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. You have your own room with a really comfy bed. Coed 16 beds. Harm reduction. The food is ok...needs better choices, but it's good. I'd highly recommend C.F. for people with mental illness and addiction issues, it's a good experience. I think you'll be happy here. Nice neighborhood close to three lakes, walking. The staff is the best I've seen in places such as this.
