Ventura Recovery Center

Ventura Recovery Center is a dual-diagnosis mental health and addiction treatment provider for adults in Ventura County, California. They also provide community resources and referrals, case management, and family support services.

Ventura Recovery Center’s levels of care include mental health assessments and counseling, detox, residential inpatient rehab, outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and an alumni program.

Mental Health Assessment and Counseling
Assessments evaluate the client’s mental health to create an individualized treatment plan, which may include individual, group, and/or family counseling.

Inpatient Detox
Nursing staff and medical providers support individuals safely and comfortably detox from drugs and alcohol, under close supervision. Following detox, participants are referred to a residential or outpatient addiction treatment program.

Residential Addiction Treatment
Ventura Recovery Center’s residential program combines evidence-based interventions with experiential therapies, to assist participants in achieving the life skills necessary to achieve and sustain recovery. Program activities involve individual and group therapy, life skills workshops, community integration, peer support, yoga, and recreational activities.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Participants attend individual and group treatment sessions several days a week. The program includes individual and group counseling, skills development groups, and aftercare.

Aftercare
Most addiction treatment programs have a comprehensive aftercare plan which includes relapse prevention strategies, recovery activities, and membership to an alumni program for on-going support.
