I was nervous about getting help, but this place made the whole process feel less overwhelming. The staff were patient, kind, and never made me feel judged. If someone is looking for drug rehab Massachusetts, I'd say this is a solid place to start.

While here, I learned how my habits and attitude developed who I am today. Therapy helped bring to my attention different patterns that I wasn’t aware of, or had not paid attention to before. This wasn’t always an easy experience to watch happen, but I really did grow from it. Upon leaving their services, I feel much more accountable for my actions.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient programs are designed for clients who are medically stable and not at an elevated risk of relapse, including those who have already completed inpatient care. Outpatient programs typically advance clients' established treatment plans, offering continuing addiction counseling and recovery education. Clients who enter outpatient care immediately following detox may also receive medical and mental health assessments and personalized treatment plans. Most outpatient rehabs provide multiple levels of care to align with clients' unique needs.

Inpatient rehab offers robust, hands-on care in a highly structured and supportive environment. The facility provides housing, meals, and round-the-clock supervision, allowing clients to focus exclusively on their recovery. Inpatient treatment typically involves intensive addiction counseling based on CBT, DBT, RBT, motivational interviewing, or other psychotherapeutic approaches. Many inpatient treatment centers also offer life skills training and/or complementary therapies, including meditation, mindfulness, and nutrition counseling.

Treatments

A person who has alcohol use disorder (alcoholism) builds up a physical tolerance to alcohol. If they try to stop drinking, they experience withdrawal symptoms. Treatment is available for this condition, through alcohol rehab in Massachusetts. Treatment options include AA, detox, counseling, medication, residential programs, and outpatient treatment. Social and family support systems are crucial during and after treatment of any kind.

Mental health services are essential during treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, whether you receive treatment in an inpatient or outpatient setting. While receiving inpatient care, you can expect to have round-the-clock access to mental health therapists and medical staff. Additionally, you will likely receive a number of different therapies and mental health options like individual and group counseling, addiction and relapse prevention education, and coping skills training.

clinicians at epiphany were phenomenal. groups provided a comfortable and safe space for support from both clinicians and fellow clients. the center is clean and well organized. my appointments with my individual therapist allowed for me to make significant progress during my three month stay. while the epiphany center provided me with much support and truly helped me heal, housing and transportation was a nightmare. there were multiple times clients were not transported to work on time despite the program encouraging engaging in job opportunities. clients were routinely late to therapy at the center due to lack of staff. the behavioral health technicians repeatedly disrespected clients, including yelling at them, discrediting my own personal addiction, taking personal food from the client home without asking, etc. trauma informed care was not routinely provided by behavioral health technicians and many staff often conducted themselves in inappropriate and unprofessional ways. housing grocery orders were repeatedly messed up and not properly fixed. while housing conditions themselves were acceptable, issues that were brought up often went unaddressed, such as broken fixtures in the house, inappropriate behavior from fellow clients, etc. lack of communication between corporate staff and lower level employees reflected in the care of the clients. issues in housing were put off until corporate inspection. clients who caused problems within the house were not properly handled, including instances of inappropriate sexual commentary and misbehaved animals being allowed in the home, vans, and at the center. the epiphany center itself was wonderful. however, i only recommend attending if housing can be found outside of program.
