I'm going to try to summarize the abuse I was subjected to yesterday. I felt very bad since I had my period for more than 15 days and I decided to call my Dr. Benitez who is an excellent doctor nothing against her. And they connected me with a nurse unfortunately I can't remember her name because the truth is I felt very bad. I asked if I could speak with Dr. Benitez and she told me so so I began to describe my discomfort, the nurse first spoke to me very rudely repeating that the doctor had ordered me some tests last year I informed her that they had been reviewed by my primary care physician and she kept accusing me and pressuring me so I repeated that this was last year now I felt very bad my period is more than 15 days in and I need to speak with the doctor so that she could treat me or simply guide me on what I can do. If she had listened to me as I asked and repeated that I felt bad and that my mood was down it would have been a great help. Instead, her response was, "Go to the hospital, get some medication, and get the tests you didn't want done." Thank God I found another doctor at Englewood Health Center who treated me without hesitation. I'm writing this review because I don't want anyone else to go through my experience.Dealing with patients is very important! You never know what the patient is going through at that moment because no one wants to feel sick!

Honestly I would look for an another clinic where they would give you an accurate diagnosis and I m trying to be nice here . I came in with a sore throat had a high fever been sick since lastSunday. Came in Thursday. What happens well they run some tests and they find nothing. I get sent with something for my nose and allergy pills. That s all. Im still coughing and sinuses are rough. My left side of my face is hurting internally from coughing hard and forcing those coughs making my head hurt. Wish I was given proper antibiotics instead of having to wait another week to get worse. Ways for you to keep paying to come by by getting worse.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in New Jersey is the process of addressing the complex issues involved with addiction. Challenges are identified and addressed through individual and group counseling. Participants learn how to manage these issues without the use of substances.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

Terrible! If you are thinking of scheduling an appt at this address, you must be willing to waste 2 hours after your scheduling... if your appt is at 9:00, rest assured that they will attend to you 2 or 3 hours later. No matter the day or the time, it is always the same situation . If your time does not matter this is the perfect place...:

There is never availability to go to the dentist, they always tell you to come back on a certain day of a certain month and there is never anything, apart from some of the receptionists treating you like an animal, like you are going to screw up their life without knowing the other's problem, very bad customer service.

The reception staff in pediatrics is terrible, they are apathetic and pedantic, we must know that when someone goes to a doctor with a child it is out of necessity not out of pleasure.

The wait time is crazy, but I will say that they helped me get temporary insurance, which sped up process so much more. The OB doctor answered all my questions without making me feel dumb or rushed.

Lab’s bathroom is a supply storage & allows no patients, you are instructed to carousel your own bio-samples from the bath across the building in public & at your own discretion. It took 5-6 people staff 1.5 hour to drain 3 patients’ blood this morning. The place feels longer, than a flight to Florida and it gets worse every time. 100+ people in line outside, blocking the entry door. Be ready to waste 2+ hours, if not a whole day. Supervisor Gaetana Venezia repeats “there is nothing we can do” to respect my appointment time, which they assign themselves to my visits. However, she’s put a portrait of herself up above the security guard in the lobby. They don’t warn about delays or backups. They make you fill out some internal made-up forms instead and list your own name by hand 10 times over - appears to be a norm for them. A big scope of nonsense artificial work they create for themselves is being passed onto their patients.
