Services at Dekalb Medical Center are offered in age-specific formats. Programs include medication-assisted treatment and intensive outpatient programs (IOP).
Intensive Outpatient Programs
A separate intensive outpatient program is available for adolescents and for adults. Clients begin with a psychiatric consultation to identify areas of challenge and to create a treatment plan. Individuals attend treatment three days per week for three hours at a time. Skills training, psychotherapy, and relapse-prevention programming are offered.
Medication-Assisted Treatment
Medication-assisted treatment is for individuals who would benefit from FDA-approved medications in combination with mental health counseling. Dosing is available through trained staff.
