Can't really say if their a good clinic or not as they never answer the phone nor return messages. After two weeks and 3 messages, guess I will look elsewhere.

First let me say I would not even give them one star if it wasn’t required to leave review, and I want to address the positive reviews you might find on here. They are likely not accurate and basically done after being pressured to write a review. I can tell you from my experience I was asked numerous times to write a review because they wanted to get more patients. As I don’t have a ton of time, nor was I comfortable with giving them a raving review based on my experience, I just informed them I would do it when I had time. After saying this for several months, I was leaving an appointment and went to receptionist to get my next appointment date, and was handed a piece of paper and was told I needed to write out my review so they could put it online, then she would give me my appointment!! Basically I couldn’t get follow up appointment until I wrote out the review they wanted! So if it happened to my sister and I, I am pretty sure it was done to others. Be very cautious!! These ppl act like they care about patients but you are just another dollar to line their pockets, until you push back when things aren’t done according to their own policy’s and procedures! Then you are discharged with no notice, no meds, assuring you have follow up care, or at the very least giving you information to obtain follow up care. They use the old stand by…”if you are having problems, go to the nearest emergency room!” Obviously not the help anyone needs as typically we are smart enough to know if we need “emergency care” we need to go to ER. Always watch every step of their urinalysis drug screen because they are very sloppy with this process! Always ask to see that YOUR name is on the label that goes on your sample! They are bad about sitting UA cup on counter with others and walking away. Also, you will be required to sign paperwork that states the Elite is the only office that can prescribe pain medication, with few exceptions, however when you have another doctor needing to put you on life saving medications that could have negative reaction with the certain pain medication you are taking, Elite refuses make changes, although it would only have to be a limited amount of time. The physician actually sent all the information regarding the medications, potential reaction, time frame, and listed potential alternative medications. But because of Dr. Tonkins inflated ego, he just stated that if this doctor wasn’t happy with current pain management, then let him prescribe what was needed. He actually had the office staff call and report this, so I asked for this in writing just to cover myself in case anything was said in the future, due to the pain contract we had been required to sign. Instead of getting that letter, I received an immediate discharge notice. So think really hard before deciding you want to be treated by someone who don’t even care that they could kill you, just because it’s easier to be a smart ass!

My wife took my father in law on 9/29 they said he wasn’t in the system, was there in April 25. The woman at the front was EXTREMELY RUDE. Asked why we hadn’t called the neurologist, well they never made the referral so we had no idea who to call. They want to give you shots or pills to string you along while they bill Medicare . They are nothing but a scam.

Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Elite Pain Management and Recovery Centers works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehab enables clients to continue to work, attend school, or reside at home while undergoing treatment, including addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Evening, night, and weekend sessions are available at many facilities to ensure continuous access to care on the client's schedule. Many centers also offer ancillary services, such as career coaching and peer mentoring, to promote clients' sustained recovery and community integration. Higher-level outpatient treatment, including intensive outpatient (IOP) care, is also widely available.

Treatments

Individuals who suffer from alcoholism drink to the extent that they harm themselves or others and have an impaired ability to stop drinking. Their alcohol use disorder may be classified as mild, moderate, or severe. At any level, alcohol rehab in Missouri can help individuals overcome alcohol addiction. Treatment includes physiological, psychological, and social aspects to provide comprehensive care that leads to long-term recovery.

Clinical Services

The goal of cognitive behavioral therapy in Missouri is to help clients change their thinking and behavioral patterns. Strategies of treatment include role playing, facing fears, and calming techniques.

A complete course of dialectical behavior therapy typically takes six months. Skills training happens in a group setting. You'll also attend weekly individual treatment sessions to receive coaching from a therapist. You'll work on understanding and accepting your feelings and learn how to manage them to make positive changes.
