I Have been going here for over 10 years and it is true that Methadone Does work for being dependent on pain medication. But I will tell you this in time you will come dependent on this also . But it’s bettter than trying to to get pain meds all the around . Also I’m an Older Guy at 68 that has had multiple surgeries and joint replacements and In my experience I have problems after surgery because of my High Tolerance to This type of Medicine . My Surgeon is totally aware of my Situation and has been great in helping me with this Issue . And let me add that I know that I will be on this Methadone for the rest of my Life . So with all that being said. I do Recommend this Treatment to anyone who is dependent on Pain Medication and of course Herion .

If you really want to change your life. You have to "WANT IT" and this place can set you free of all the BS. No more counting how long before you have to find more just to keep you from getting sick. It can all end you just have to WANT it! Grace will work with you in anyway she can help to get you going down the right path. Betw theeen her the Doctor and the very nice lady who administers the meds. I have another chance at a real life. Thank you all!

**WARNING** Do Not go to this clinic for a Suboxone prescription. As of July 19th 2022 Dr. Andre DeJean has lost his Authorization to prescribe this medication. (And they refuse to refund the $160.00 it costs at their clinic to get the prescription.) Meaning, if he writes you an Rx, it doesn't matter what Pharmacy you take it to or whether or not it goes through your insurance or you pay full price, the Rx Can Not be processed. The people at this clinic are strangely ignorant that certifications and Authorizations require updates every few years. Instead they argued with me to call my insurance or go to another pharmacy. (All of which I did. All 3 pharmacies said the issue was the Md's DEA number. ) They kept trying to make it my fault and were mean.. They refused to refund me. Can they just keep my money?? The Rx is still at Walgreens useless. I found an app called QuickMD that only charges $99 and they call the Rx to your pharmacy.

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. If you engage in cognitive behavioral therapy in Illinois, your therapist will work with you to change your thinking patterns. You'll learn how to recognize faulty thinking and develop skills to deal with stress without using substances.
