The staff of this place isn't considered with patients, they don't understand that each patient is a different person and that they can't be treated in the same way, I would like the program to be more personalized.

Independence House offers counseling and support services to those in and exiting the justice system through diversion programs. Their South Side facility in Denver, Colorado, is an outpatient setting, but they offer residential programs in different locations. They host three separate programs to accommodate different needs.
This location provides mental health and substance use disorder treatment as well as dual diagnosis treatment. Clients are monitored to ensure compliance per the terms of the court. It’s conveniently located in the downtown metro area, so reaching it on your own or with public transportation isn’t a problem.
Extra Help Staying On Track
Structure is important to anyone in recovery, but it’s especially so for the justice involved. With strict terms to meet and consequences for failing to do so, staying on top of your ins and outs can feel like it carries more weight. Independence House helps you out through its case management program.
While you’ll have staff checking in on your progress, your case manager will help you complete those things you need to do so you can hit those benchmarks. Think of it as someone double checking your to-do list and lending a hand when something is missing.
DUI Education for All
It shouldn’t be surprising that a facility working closely with the justice system would offer DUI services in addition to individual and group therapy. DUI services combined with therapy offer a deeper exploration of addiction’s destructive consequences on you and others.
Intensive Residential Program for Holistic Healing
Some clients referred to this facility may find themselves in the residential program before or instead of the outpatient course. You’ll have a shared residence with others in the program, where you’ll receive therapy and skill development. This program can include a vocational component to make you more appealing to employers upon completion.
