I went to this place for 3 days and it was the worst experience I've ever been through. I went there for depression and suicidal thoughts when I first went in there they had confiscated my stuffed animal cookie monster because they said I could harm myself with it. I sat in a cold hall for 2 and a half hours waiting to be searched and nobody came to talk to me. When somebody did talk to me a adult male yelled at me and called me a idiot telling me what I was doing that I belonged in the day room after that I got up and he pushed me down into the room. Then they made me strip down into my underwear to check me while grabbing me firmly and turning me around making me feel uncomfortable as possible after that they put me in a room full of kids from 5 years old to 17 that where all screaming cussing fighting and crying for there parents. Most of the kids in there where abused in the same way as me this is not a place you said somebody to get mental health this is a place u send somebody to mentally break them down and traumatize them. The food there was not served according to my medical allergies and dietary plan. And when we would take shower and get ready for bed they gave me and the rest of the patients DAWN DISH SOAP to use for bathing they treated me and other patients like prisoners they got many people's medical papers messed up over and over the first night I stayed there they tried forcing me Adderall and other medications that where not mine but another kids. PLEASE DO NOT SEND UR CHILDREN HERE it is not a place to get help its a mental prison. I couldn't even imagine spending a 4th night there my mom took me out because of how many screaming and cursing of the staff she heard while talked to her on the phone and I cried bugging to come home she finally got me after the staff and people lied to her saying she couldn't get me. Again give your babies therapy and attention please do not send them here and save them from trauma and ptsd.

1. The facility was told not to change a certain medication. It was when our son called us and told us he got a new pill, that we realized they changed our son's medication without proper authorization. 2. We were not updated about diagnosis or any testing until his discharge paper work. 4. We called NUMBER of times to speak with the psy doc. Not one time did the doctors call us back to update us on ANYTHING. FOUR TIMES. we asked for times to speak with the psych doc or any doctor at that, and never got a response back.We we asked the nurse for detail, the nurse on staff at that time told us that She does not know about any detials that she can not read the doc hand writing,a nd she will have them call us. again, never happened. 3. When our son would call on his daily calls, we would hear staff rudely yelling and being aggrressive with kiddos. Yes, we know the kids there can be aggressive, and irrate and tough at times, but the way we heard some of these staff talking to children is unacceptable and i just can't believe it is allowed to happen.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehabs ensure that clients continue to receive robust and consistent therapeutic care without requiring them to reside at the treatment center. The frequency and intensity of treatment depend on clients' evolving needs, ranging from daily to weekly addiction counseling and recovery education. Outpatient programs often include peer coaching, life skills training, and individual, group, and family counseling. Outpatient levels of care include partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living/halfway housing, and standard outpatient care.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

During many phases of addiction treatment, you'll need to receive 24-hour clinical care in Arkansas. This supervision ensures your safety during the detox process. Licensed medical professionals and experienced addiction specialists provide medication management, non-addictive medication to curb withdrawal symptoms, and frequent monitoring of vital signs.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
military-program thumbnail image

Military Program

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Recreational therapy uses physical activity and hobbies to support alcohol and drug addiction recovery in Arkansas. They help improve your physical health and provide you with a sense of accomplishment, which is critical to overcoming addiction. These activities could include gardening, music, or sports. They help to promote relaxation and build a supportive community.

I remember being here as a child, and the staff never treat us well. Supervision is a serious lack there. It is not a good place for your children.

I was very very unhappy that after 3 attempts to reach the councilor in charge of my kid, Tiffany never got back me. Our discharge was horrific, basically I was told to give him his phone back (one of.the biggest problems) just love him and leave it to the Lord. It was about a 30 minute religious preaching. Insinuating I didn't love my kid enough, and was not religious enough. I was extremely upset when we left.

I was a long-term patient here when I was 17. I'm a type one diabetic and while I was staying here, I had a medical episode in the middle of the night. I went to the bathroom and as I stood from the toilet, I went unconscious and banged my head on the sink as I fell. due to a low blood sugar. Woke up, stumbled to the nurse's station, and all they did was give me crackers and juice. I told them I banged my head and obviously you could see the blood. I had a loose tooth, as well. They did nothing about my injury. Didn't treat me, didn't take me to a medical hospital to be seen. 4 years later, I'm having to see a neurologist for epilepsy. My neurologist is telling me it could very well have been triggered by this event. I'm now having to get an MRI next week to confirm if I have an untreated TBI. I now have memory issues, seizures almost daily, and other problems. You know what this screams? MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE!! Do NOT send your children here. As a former patient, I would never send my child here knowing the staff doesn't take anything seriously and something like this could happen again. Ridiculous that I have to live with the consequences of someone else's malpractice.
