About High Focus Centers Jenkintown Outpatient Treatment Center

For adults, outpatient programs can consist of partial hospitalization, which is a day program that meets every weekday for four hours per session. This program can include cognitive behavioral therapy and commitment therapy. These approaches are used to address any underlying health conditions under your addiction. A descaled alternative is intensive outpatient care, which reduces the lengths of sessions.

Women may not feel comfortable in a mixed gender setting. A woman’s only program is designed around women’s issues, such as trauma, abuse, and PTSD. This track can help you develop stronger coping mechanisms so your resilience strengthens.

A teen program is also available for youths who feel anxiety, depression, were bullied, or who have abused drugs to cope with problems. This track encourages you to handle stress in school, home, and first jobs without resorting to drugs. That way, your social and cognitive skills will be stronger and healthier.

I have been attending High Focus Center- Jenkintown therapy for the past 2.5 weeks. I was stuck in a treatment plateau for the last few months; and even began to go backwards in my coping skills. I was so mad at the team in the beginning because they were asking me to challenge my fears and negative habits. I was experiencing high anxiety and discomfort. I have to say “what a difference a week makes.” As soon as I was able to let go and trust the process it has been remarkable. I am now healing in ways that were invisible to me previously. Everyone at HFC-Jenkintown are experienced, positive, supportive, and compassionate. I have had an exceptional experience with Jada, Torrie, Megan, Miriam, Jackie, Alexis, Amanda, Phyllis, Emily, and Danelle. If you are serious about feeling better and enjoying your life, this facility is perfect. It’s not the easiest program, but that makes my success even more rewarding!!

Accepted Insurance

High Focus Centers Jenkintown Outpatient Treatment Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient programs are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare. Rehab After Work & Rehab After School offers various outpatient therapy skills support and therapy groups designed for those that have abused drugs and/or alcohol in the past but are no longer using them. Some of these groups include age-specific groups, gender specific as well as co-ed groups, early recovery skills groups and co-dependency groups.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

These programs are designed for individuals that have been using drugs or alcohol and need frequent sessions to maintain abstinence. Some clients attend this outpatient addiction treatment program to gain control over their substance use problems before further inpatient treatment is required. Other clients attend this program as a step-down outpatient therapy option following an inpatient stay. During the client’s initial appointment or evaluation, they can help to determine which type of program is most appropriate and if an inpatient option is necessary, they can make recommendations at that time. Rehab After Work - Old York Road's focus is on education, community building, and group therapy. Groups are kept to an average of 8 members so all individuals get the focus needed for successful outpatient therapy. Family members, parents, and/or support persons are required to be involved in the individual’s treatment and are counseled as well to help their loved ones succeed.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

With a partial hospitalization program (PHP), you can participate in intensive rehabilitation treatment with the ability to return home at the end of the day. For a weekly minimum of 20 hours, a partial hospitalization program can take place up to 5 days a week for an average of 90 days. During PHP treatment, you can receive relapse prevention strategies, medication management, individual and group therapy, and other behavioral therapy interventions.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Pennsylvania is devoted to the treatment of addiction. Levels of care, treatment methods, and settings differ, but the aim of each program is to end drug dependency and empower participants to achieve long-term recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

If you have a mental health condition and an addiction, it is critical to address both conditions simultaneously. If you only address the mental health disorder, you'll likely continue to use drugs or alcohol, which can make your mental health issues even worse. On the other hand, if you only address the addiction, you won't have the tools to cope with your mental health disorder in a healthy way.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image

Teen Program

Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image

LGBTQ Program

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
military-program thumbnail image

Military Program

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
program-for-women thumbnail image

Program For Women

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Clinical Services

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation. In addition to Rehab After Work - Old York Road's family outpatient therapy offered as part of the IOP, family therapy sessions are provided as individualized family therapy for the specific client and their family members. These appointments will be made as requested by the client, family, or counselor during the day or evening hours. Family therapy appointments can be made for any type of family members.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Sound therapy (aka sound healing or vibrational medicine) uses sonic vibrations to stimulate healing at the cellular level. Vibrations, either from the human voice or resonant objects like tuning forks, gongs, or Tibetan bowls, affect cellular resonance in the body, which can help heal the impact of anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Pennsylvania can be helpful to individuals who are experiencing substance use disorder and various mental health conditions. It helps you identify damaging thought and behavior patterns and replace them with healthy ones.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Pennsylvania is an evidence based technique that involves group therapy, individual therapy, and phone coaching. Group sessions focus on learning behavioral skills. Individual therapy gives you the opportunity to apply what you're learning to your personal situations. Phone coaching allows you to call your therapist during the week for help with challenging situations.

Motivational interviewing in Pennsylvania gives you the opportunity to share your perspective and explore your ideas and motivation for change. Your therapist will walk you through the four steps of engaging, focusing, evoking, and planning to empower you to make any desired changes in your life.

It is important to process the impact that traumatic experiences have had on your life. During trauma therapy, you and an experienced therapist confront these experiences and the emotional impact it is had. This helps to reduce your symptoms of stress and anxiety and improve your overall mental health and well being.

I started my journey a little over two weeks ago and already have found some peace with things I never thought possible. I never thought that I would be able to open up and be as vulnerable as I am in this woman's trauma group but Jacqueline Huynh has a way of getting you to talk whether you want to or not. She is empathetic and understanding of your feelings and offers advice while allowing you to cry and let it out. I have cried so many sessions and the love and support that I have gotten from the wonderful group of women as well as Jacqueline is touching. I have never felt safer in my life being able to share my deepest thoughts and emotions. I hope that with the coming weeks I continue to make progress and be able to shut Pandora's box once and for all. The journey has been one of the toughest things I have ever done in my life but again Jacqueline Huynh really makes one feel loved, special and accepted of which that is what we have needed all our lives. To be loved, accepted and special in someone else's heart. Being able to share my trauma experiences with other women and realizing that I wasn't the only person like this was shocking. I, never in a million years would have imagined that I would be telling the same story as another woman in my group. This group led by Jacqueline Huynh has opened my eyes to what my life should really look like and how I want it to be. I want to be really happy and not fake it day by day. I'm 63 years old and Jacqueline Huynh has finally shown me what life should be all about, love and happiness and forgiving myself. Thank you Jacqueline

My experience at High Focus Centers has been healing. I felt comfortable there, and I truly appreciated being able to talk about everything while knowing my information would remain private. I’ve been through a lot in my past, and having a safe space to share and get help was incredibly important to me. The support I received made a big difference. There were a lot of emotional moments—tears, but also happy times—and every part of it helped me grow.

I am very blessed to have this treatment center in my life. I was at my lowest point and tried for almost a year to get help. I suffer with grief, anxiety, depressing, isolation and just feeling lost. I was always told it's all in my head and look for the bright side. No negative talk. However, I knew there were deep issues I need to have addressed. One day I literally had a break down and called my insurance and they referred High Focus to me. I called the intake line and the associate was so warm and supportive. I also spoke with Victoria who did my assessment and she allowed me to cry, vent and express myself. I was a candidate for the partial intake program. I am so blessed to have this much needed support. These women are the best. Linnea my individual therapist is so warm, kind and non judgmental. She allows me to express myself. These include my fears, worries, etc. I know I'm not alone and these sessions are really digging into some traumas/events that I pushed aside. I'm able to share without feeling bad about myself. It is tough however, I know in order to get better; I have to have faith and do the work. I could go on and on about how professional and wonderful High Point is to me and I'm sure others. Please if you are experiencing any kind of mental health issue; call them. They treat you like family and you are valued

I’ve never felt more seen, safe, welcomed, or protected than I do at High Focus. From day one, Jackie has held me accountable with compassion, reminding me of my strength even on my hardest days. She gives me the space to really feel my feelings — no judgment, just understanding. And after a good cry, we always end up laughing, like, “Damn girl, you were holding all of that in?!” She has helped me fight for myself in ways I never even imagined. This program has taught me that I am no longer an option — I am a priority. Because giving from a bone-dry cup was only making me feel worse, and I didn’t even realize how empty I had become. In just over three weeks, I’ve already made more progress than I ever thought possible: setting healthy boundaries, using real coping skills, and rebuilding my confidence as a woman navigating life with the system stacked against her. I’m proud to say that, for the first time in a long time, I want to live. I finally feel like I have purpose. And I couldn’t have reached this place without Jackie or the space High Focus created for me. This isn’t just therapy — it’s life-saving.

Hi there! This place is where I met so many wonderful patients and kudos to Jackie Huynh for being my most amazing therapist. She has helped me a ton to recover and brings out so much positivity in IOP. If you are on page 7 she is on page 289. She could read you like a book. The patients that I’m with are like angels the best angle ever. Definitely recommend this place and don’t hesitate to reach out for help.
