24-Hour Clinical Care

This supervised setting is the best environment for detox.where medical staff can provide 24/7 supervision and responsive care as your body is cleansed of addictive substances. Doctors may prescribe antagonist and partial agonist drugs to counteract the effects of drugs or alcohol, or they may slowly taper down dosages of substances to end physical dependence on the drug.

Medically Assisted Detox

During the medically supervised detox process, licensed medical professionals monitor your vitals and administer medications meant to help alleviate the physical symptoms of withdrawal. I checked in with the front desk and was disrespected by the Employee with her assumptions and statements. I'm starting to realize all Advocate locations are run horribly and the most unprofessional folks work at these places. Avoid this location and anything Advocate related.

This was my first visit to the practice and I saw Dr Roman Dreyer. I felt like Dr. Dreyer listened to my concerns and issues and mentioned a diagnosis that was not mentioned by my previous doctors for 20 years. Researching the potential diagnosis online I am shocked that other doctors have not mentioned this diagnosis as a possibility before. The facility felt a little dated but I was there for healthcare not ambiance. The practice seemed to work well and I would recommend Dr. Dreyer for care.
