How do they expect to call you on a Friday to charge your child on a Saturday after driving three hours there and then you’re waiting there five hours and then you get home after 3 Hour Dr. have no medication have called multiple times and the medicine has not been called into the pharmacy so they send a kid home without the medication that they did prescribe that the child does need I don’t see how this is very helpful when the child does go in because it needs help and you guys don’t help it when it gets discharged.

I was sent here in April of 2025. I was upset and scared at first because of the reviews online. When I actually arrived, I was treated with nothing but kindness and acceptance my whole stay. I was in Unit 3. Absolute props to the staff in that unit. They interacted with us, made sure we had a quiet space or someone to talk to if needed, and were always making sure we were okay. Any "fights" that broke out were quickly separated and resolved in a calm manner with no issues or sedation. All the staff was amazing. The doctor was a little hard to understand sometimes, but you would get the jist. I was put on proper meds and was helped. Ever since I have left, I've felt a lot better. The other teens were really kind and sweet, always supportive and never making fun of each other. Mrs. Love was AMAZING! She helped so much and was honest. She made sure you knew she was a safe person to talk to. If you had an issue, she would help fix it swiftly. Food was really good too. I genuinely cannot thank this place enough.

I’ve never been the same since being in that place. My friends and family can all agree — something in me changed. It’s been a year, and I’m still not ready to fully talk about what happened or the things I witnessed inside. I was admitted under circumstances that I believe were unjust, and for the first 5 days out of 10, I didn’t even speak to a therapist. When I finally did see one — briefly — she tried to rush in just to check off a box saying she’d seen me. When I asked her when we’d actually talk, her response was, “That’s why you’re the patient and I’m the therapist. You better get used to it.” From that moment on, I felt like I was being retaliated against. I believe they realized that if they kept me much longer without justification, they’d have to explain it to my insurance company — and since no one had actually worked with me or even tried to help, they let me go. Every negative review you’ve read about this place is not an exaggeration. I experienced it firsthand, and I can confirm every word.

Accepted Insurance

Options Behavioral Health Hospital works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

My 13 year old daughter during her second stay there was beaten by a 16 year old boy. A boy who should not have been able to have access to my daughter. She had a head injury from a seizure prior to going there & the boy gave her several blows to the head. They did not seek medical attention to make sure he didn’t worsen her injuries. Yes they were aware of the head injury. She has severe Epilepsy. Yea they knew that too. They did not report the incident to me until two days later. They also lied & said my daughter was attacked by a girl with a utensil. There was not even a utensil involved. It was confirmed the kid was a boy & my daughter was correct about his potential age. Yes we are fighting for justice. My daughter came back extremely mean & is taking things out on everyone. I sent her there to get help not to come back worse than ever!

Finally ready to write a review. It's been a couple years but to see this place still open is a nightmare. I was here for only 5 days where I saw patients taking other patients drugs, nurses not wanting to help for anything (creating more trauma), a nurse taking an extra cigarette break making us miss the one time we could see outside, changing schedules on a whim, people having sex in rooms because no one ever cared to pay attention (line of sight my a**). They hire anyone. The doctor and therapist was ok but we're with them 30 minutes out of the day. The rest of the time you're left with people who see it as a paycheck and that's all. This place needs shut down immediately. Coming here made everything worse and I just had more problems to overcome because of it. Oh and they misplaced my clothes I had come in with. Edit: reading other reviews seeing the same thing happening to hundreds makes me sick. How can we band together and stop these people? Trigger warning, You come in for suicidal thoughts and they give you a reason to follow through with it.

Currently have an adult child in facility, I have legal guardianship of. At this point I have talked to an intake person. The switchboard puts you on hold, when they do transfer to unit you go to voicemail without the messages being returned. No planning for child. The one I thought was a nurse, actually 2 recanted that position when I called. Decided to put mom on speaker and go thug speak. My daughter needs help not more trauma… clearly this is not going to happen and I will not get to speak with any credible individual.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was here against my will. The patients were beating each other and the staff. Staff didn’t even help the staff. I watched a patient break our therapists jaw and not one staff helped her a patient had to stop the other patient ! They were rude. Sat on their phones and the nurses could only do so much. The techs were horrible. There was maybe 2 good techs who actually cared out of my 8 days of pure hell at this facility. Nonstop fights. I believe there was one day they called 21 codes in one day for patients getting physical with staff or other patients. The therapist told me not to cry because crying is unnecessary while in a therapy session. I have never been told not to cry in my life by a medical professional. Half of the staff did not even speak English. So good luck with therapy when you can’t understand them and you can’t switch therapists / doctors. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy.
