Sobriety is more than just stopping a habit—it’s rebuilding the foundation beneath it. The team at this center truly understands that distinction. My experience in the IOP program was grounded in deep, individualized care. Past experiences, before R&D Center, my addicition resurfaced and felt like being pulled fast through some dangerous rapids... this treatment here helped establish that recovery is building a bridge and finding (the calm) solid ground beneath my feet. Beyond that tailored approach to recovery, an authentic level of care and compassion eminates from each person in that building. From the leadership being both inspiring and humble to the most qualified and indispensably relatable therapists/professionals I have ever come across in this decade(s) long trek, I feel, for the first time, that I have an enduring approach and blueprint; not only in navigating recovery, but managing daily ups-and-downs as well. When you actually treat the individual instead of just the diagnosis, genuine healing happens. I am deeply grateful to the entire staff for providing a space where real, lasting development is possible. Thank you.

Amazing!! The counselors there are incredible. Helped me in every way possible, checked in on weekends through text, outside of business hours (something basically NO treatment centers do). They do yoga Tuesdays with Cheryl and she is amazing! Rachel, Bob, Mike, etc, show a true and honest passion for what they do. Thank you to all!! ❤️

Other Forms of Payment

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Financing your treatment can make treatment more accessible. You'll work with your care provider to set up payment plans, including interest rates and repayment timelines. Financing options vary widely and not all programs offer them, so be sure to get the full details before enrolling in treatment. If you have insurance or other benefits, financing may help you cover your remaining out of pocket expenses.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Clients engaged in intensive outpatient programs (IOP) live and work in their home community while receiving frequent, high-level care. These programs offer personalized care designed to evolve with the clients' changing needs. Many intensive outpatient rehabs require a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week, but high-risk clients and those in early recovery may receive up to 20 hours of care weekly. IOP services generally include addiction counseling, recovery education, and holistic therapies, such as massage.

Outpatient rehabs specialize in providing comprehensive care for clients who choose to remain in their homes and communities during treatment. Their services may include transitional support for clients stepping down from intensive inpatient programming. Ambulatory medical detox may be provided for clients at low risk for withdrawal complications. Many programs include evening, night, and weekend services to accommodate clients who are working professionals or caregivers. Addiction counseling and life skills training are common treatment modalities.

12 step programs prioritize the recovery journey as a life-long process based on personal spiritual growth and ongoing peer support. Regular attendance at 12 step meetings, which are held multiple times each day in most communities, is expected. Participants also receive one-on-one mentoring by a self-selected peer sponsor. The 12 steps are designed to encourage participants' self-compassion, awareness, acceptance, and accountability. Dedicated programs for specialized groups, including seniors, teens, and families, are common.

Clients receiving services from a rehab aftercare program are usually stable and in the maintenance phase of recovery, having completed detox and/or intensive inpatient treatment. Rehab aftercare services can vary widely based on clients' individual and evolving needs, but often include peer coaching, relapse prevention support, 12 step program induction, and medical, mental health, and social service referrals. Individual care plans are typically developed by the client in partnership with their case manager and care team.

Telehealth increases care access to underserved communities and at-risk populations. Because it allows patients to receive care without visiting a provider in person, many barriers are removed. Telehealth eliminates transportation issues, increases convenience, and opens up options to providers who are located far away.

Treatments

Alcoholism is a syndrome of dependent alcohol use. Also called alcohol use disorder (AUD), the symptoms include craving alcohol, not being able to stop drinking, and feeling anxious or irritable when not drinking. For many people, alcohol rehab in Pennsylvania is a beneficial treatment. Programs offer many levels of care, including medical and behavioral therapies.

Drug rehab in Pennsylvania is devoted to the treatment of addiction. Levels of care, treatment methods, and settings differ, but the aim of each program is to end drug dependency and empower participants to achieve long-term recovery.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

In Pennsylvania, substance abuse treatment programs can help address addiction and any co-occurring mental health problems. These programs incorporate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychoeducation to help you uncover the underlying causes for your substance use and develop new skills to help you manage stress and overcome future triggers which may challenge your sobriety.

Pennsylvania's specialized dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs prioritize comprehensive care for individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Providing various levels of care, including outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization, dual-diagnosis experts use evidence-based therapies, recovery support groups, and education to treat both disorders, promote mental health, and improve your quality of life.

If you have a mental health condition and an addiction, it is critical to address both conditions simultaneously. If you only address the mental health disorder, you'll likely continue to use drugs or alcohol, which can make your mental health issues even worse. On the other hand, if you only address the addiction, you won't have the tools to cope with your mental health disorder in a healthy way.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Pennsylvania can be helpful to individuals who are experiencing substance use disorder and various mental health conditions. It helps you identify damaging thought and behavior patterns and replace them with healthy ones.

Couples therapy in Pennsylvania is typically short term treatment that focuses on building skills that lead to positive long term relationship changes. Sessions with the therapist may occur both jointly and individually.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Pennsylvania is an evidence based technique that involves group therapy, individual therapy, and phone coaching. Group sessions focus on learning behavioral skills. Individual therapy gives you the opportunity to apply what you're learning to your personal situations. Phone coaching allows you to call your therapist during the week for help with challenging situations.

Emotions that surface during experiential therapy can reveal how you've coped with situations in the past. A trained therapist will guide you through conversations about your emotions and reactions either during therapy or in a follow up session. Therapy may include activities such as equine therapy, wilderness therapy, martial arts, drama, music, or art.

Family therapy teaches individual family members in Pennsylvania the benefits of collectively combating addiction. Therapists help individual members establish healthy boundaries between themselves and their loved one who is struggling with addiction. This helps improve emotional support systems and creates a bond so families work together to sustain long term recovery.

Group therapy sessions in Pennsylvania offer you a safe space when you're struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. You can openly discuss your challenges and the progress you're making in rehabilitation. Sharing this responsibility with others in your group fosters a commitment to sobriety and helps create strong bonds with your peers.

Personalized therapy sessions in Pennsylvania typically include a safe and nonjudgmental setting in which you can express your deepest emotions and feelings and explore the factors that have contributed to addiction. Therapists tailor the sessions to help you develop healthier thought patterns and behaviors, which improve your self control and build a foundation for your long term sobriety.

Life skills are the mental and social skills that are necessary to navigate day to day life. Addiction diminishes or eliminates these skills, so they must be relearned and practiced during drug rehab treatment in Pennsylvania.

Motivational interviewing in Pennsylvania gives you the opportunity to share your perspective and explore your ideas and motivation for change. Your therapist will walk you through the four steps of engaging, focusing, evoking, and planning to empower you to make any desired changes in your life.

It is important to process the impact that traumatic experiences have had on your life. During trauma therapy, you and an experienced therapist confront these experiences and the emotional impact it is had. This helps to reduce your symptoms of stress and anxiety and improve your overall mental health and well being.

R and D Media Pa. I have been in treatment and am fortunate with good counseling and advice. A trusted friend active in the business energetically recommended R and D. I had high expectations dangerous I know! After I searched counselors and an environment that felt kind safe honest professional. Not only have they met my hopes they crushed them!,, simply meeting and exceeding my hope. Places are as strong as their weakest link. They don’t have any.weak links. There are no sessions where they are prepared for impactful sessions. Almost the whole team have successfully battled their own recovery. So no stupid questions. Its awesome! Last. A high focus on development. Interviewing prep work,,,encouragement to prepare one’s life to develop the way they have, they are there for anyone anytime who relapses which often is part of the journey,, however they work hard and well for successful outcomes long. Term… Last the owners are directly involved as counselors and the business they are the guys who by their actions show you they built this on purpose. Anyone looking. Please put them at the top of your list. I am a Giants fan surrounded by Eagles fans. The distance is worth the grief they treat me with…if you want to speak to active or graduates of their program. Call and I think with some documents could tell you first hand!,,,

Response from the owner
Thanks David, and thank you for the positivity you bring to the program. It has a meaningful impact on the program.
