If you're coming for wound care.......bring a blanket and pillow since you'll be waiting so LONG! I've been to many medical facilities, and this by far is the WORST for wait times. First appointment was 1hr 45 minute wait time, just to get in to a room and then another 20 minutes to wait for anyone to come in. The second time, it was over a 1hr and 30 minutes AGAIN! Another gentleman was seated in the waiting room and he been there 2 hrs!!!! How RIDICULOUS! Better off to go to an ER, you might get faster service, which is insane to say the least. I don't know how you can run a business like this?!?! I know if I was at a restaurant, we would've gotten up and left.....but since you're a medical facility, they think they have the right to do this to people?!?! This was our second but more importantly our LAST appointment at this joke of a facility! Find somewhere else to go! Oh, and there's hardly no parking. So good luck with that! Especially since 90% of patients are in a wheelchair or crutches.

Had an appointment here once, instead of trying to help me find the clinic I just got laughed at and told “good luck finding it”. I missed my appointment and my Dr put in another one and when I asked for a different location the referral rep Rachel got upset and just hung up the phone. Why does banner keep employing the worst kind of people who don’t know how to even talk to patients over the phone. Tired of this

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
