Wound care from Jessica is great but since we started coming here, appointments and wait times have become unbearable.A wait of over an hour has become common!Sitting in a wheel chair waiting for over an hour is excruciating. There's a sign on the table that says ".....check with staff if you think you have waited too long". An indifferent staff offers to reschedule to a different day.Doesn't do much good when you have wounds in need of attention.***form submitted***I'm doubting we'll hear back and if we do it'll be mere sorries and other such platitudes.....but I'll update review with outcome.

I am reviewing for my fiance and after reading previous reviews of this facility It has confirmed my fianc complaints and lack of good health/ wound care. Staff is complacent and seem to brush off patients concerns and rush him out of there. His wound on his legs has now gotten worse and to be honest never really healed. I would expect them to notice this and possibly escalate to another specialist or come up with another game plan to help him heal. Instead they do the same treatment week after week different nurse caring for his legs and re-wrapping them with no end in sight. I would not recommend this office to anyone or a loved one as their bedside manner is not tolerable as well.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Dr Majeed is not just a wonderful person but also a Doctor who really took great care of me. I met him while I was in a coma for about 2 months. As he said to me that I was practically half dead. I had sepsis, in a coma, sacral wound stage 3/4, my lungs nearly collapsed and I was just skin & bones. I was his miracle patient! My sister (my real life angel) was looking over me while Dr Majeed was taking care of my wound care. I am so grateful for my sister and Dr Majeed and staffs like Andrea and Rachel to name a few. This facility is amazing for wound care. I know because they saved my life.

“MA's and nursing staff has gotten very complacent in their jobs. It seems as if it is nothing more than a task instead of a career choice!” this! “Alex “ front office person very rude every-time I call to speak with someone I don’t hear back from anyone. It’s been two days since “Alex told me “Becky will call you Becky will call you” but no one ever dose. They Obviously don’t care about the elderly people and there needs they should not having poor customer service people work at a front desk and I will speak the the manager about this.

When first coming here for wound care for my husband's venous stasis ulcer the staff was great. But since coming back for retreatment of the same thing the MA's and nursing staff has gotten very complacent in their jobs. It seems as if it is nothing more than a task instead of a career choice! All we are asking for is timely and care when dealing with sick and disabled people.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Our team is sorry to hear about these concerns. We want to do everything we can to provide a quality experience for all of our customers. Please email us at customer@bannerhealth.com so we can get you in touch with the appropriate customer care team. We value your input.
