Hands down the best rehab I could have ever gone to. The miracles that happen there is unexplainable! This place saved my life and I just had 8 months sober. I would and do recommend this place to anyone young and old. My group consisted of clients from 18-65 yrs old and everyone seemed to have a special bond with one another. 7A will become your recovery family. I look forward to traveling back to AZ for their yearly reunion. It’s truly amazing the work that they do! Send your loved one there and you won’t regret it!!

Seven Arrows saved my life. There aren’t a lot of dual diagnosis centers, 7A is! I was there for 90 days, during that short time they helped me with some of my trauma. They are the reason I’m living and not just existing. They are the reason I’m 2 years and 2 months sober. You will become a part of an amazing family that will always be there for you. I could go on and on about all of the activities you have the honor and privelage of doing….sweat lodge…pipe ceremony…horse back riding and so much more!!! When you graduate you are still part of this family. There is an alumni get together once a year. 7A will always have a very special place in my heart and my soul. I love you 7A! Thank you for giving me my life back. A’Ho

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs support clients' successful reintegration into their home, workplace, and community. Drug rehab aftercare presumes that recovery requires life-long support. These programs typically offer a wide variety of services customized for the clients' unique and evolving needs. Clients may receive vocational training and career counseling, housing assistance, legal aid, peer coaching, and 12 step program induction, among other services. Clients' case managers often play a lead role in rehab aftercare planning.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient rehab is designed primarily for persons in early recovery and those who are exiting detox programs. It's ideal for clients in crisis or at an elevated risk of relapse. Inpatient treatment centers provide housing and meals, allowing clients to focus on their recovery away from distractions and addiction triggers. Clients engage in intensive psychotherapy, and many inpatient programs feature recovery-focused life skills training and/or complementary therapies like meditation, creative arts therapy, and other holistic treatments.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive inpatient programs (IOP) offer high-level support for clients in early recovery, those exiting detox or inpatient rehabs, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically includes rigorous individual, group, and family counseling. Evidence-based complementary therapies, such as acupuncture and massage, are widely available. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) may be provided. Clients in IOP receive a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week but may engage in up to 20 treatment hours weekly.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Many clients who enroll in an outpatient rehab program are exiting intensive inpatient care and no longer require such high-level clinical supervision. Outpatient programs typically follow a step-down structure, with treatment frequency and intensity decreasing as clients progress in their recovery journey. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care are the most time-intensive and are designed primarily for clients who have just left inpatient treatment or who are at an elevated risk of relapse.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
The initial phase of recovery treatment typically includes 24-hour clinical care in Arizona. This constant supervision ensures a safe detox process, which helps the individual physically stabilize from substance use. Patients will receive medications to curb withdrawal symptoms and cravings, as well as other necessary medical treatment. This period typically lasts up to a week, then the individual will receive medical clearance to begin inpatient or outpatient rehab.

Treatments

Alcohol use disorder (AUD), also referred to as alcoholism and alcohol addiction, is a chronic condition that involves craving alcohol and an inability to control drinking. A person with AUD must drink greater and greater amounts of alcohol to achieve the same effects and experiences withdrawal symptoms if they stop drinking alcohol. Several evidence-based methods are available to treat AUD through alcohol rehab in Arizona. This treatment can occur on an outpatient or inpatient basis.

Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.

mental-health iconMental Health And Substance Abuse
opium iconOpioid Addiction

Arizona's substance abuse treatment centers can provide tailored treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Treatment programs may include medically assisted detox, 12-Step recovery, intensive outpatient programs, and aftercare support. Addiction experts employ evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and talk therapy to uncover and reframe unhelpful patterns. By graduation, you'll have developed new coping strategies, learned new stress management techniques, and have the capability of sustaining your recovery.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Clinical Services

Also known as CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy in Arizona is one of the most common types of psychotherapy. It offers a structured method of counseling that effectively treats substance use disorder and dual diagnosis disorders.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Arizona focuses on acceptance of your reality and behaviors while also attempting to make changes in unhealthy behaviors. It has been shown to be effective for the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorder.

equine-therapy iconEquine Therapy

Family therapy involves sessions where members of the family discuss how addiction has affected them individually and collectively. Therapists can guide families in developing coping strategies that help support their loved one's recovery while also focusing on their own emotional health.

In Arizona, group therapy helps promote accountability and motivation for men and women who want to stay committed to addiction recovery. It fosters a sense of community where you can share your progress and learn new coping strategies from your peers.

Individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction includes focused attention on the unique challenges that trigger addictive behavior. During individual therapy sessions, you have a safe space in which to discuss stressors and emotional struggles. Therapy fosters trust and open communication that helps develop personalized strategies to overcome addiction.

Developing life skills is an important piece of addiction recovery treatment. These skills help you succeed in day to day tasks and live a healthy, independent life. They include communication, critical thinking, problem solving, self control, and resilience.

Nutrition therapy helps reduce the discomfort of detox and reduces cravings during drug rehab in Arizona. It helps you navigate nutrition, teaching you how to plan and prepare meals that meet your nutritional needs.

This was my first and only healing center I've been to. Since being home in Michigan I've completed 2 wellbriety training's 1CCAR peer recovery coach training's. I hold a circle meeting twice a week on the reservation I'm from in northern Michigan called Smudge Don't Judge.I have a relationship support and respect from my family and community that I prayed very hard for in the talking circle and sweat lodge. I attended my first alumni gathering at seven arrows this year and can't wait for the next one. I keep in touch with Brian 2moons and David and all of new family and friends in Douglas. My life is great I haven't had any slips, cravings for alcohol or drugs. I attend my tribal language class every week and I can't wait to come back and speak and work with the new clients who will be going through they're healing process at seven arrows. I love and miss all of the staff. I keep Seven Arrows the staff and every single client in my daily prayers. Chi Megwetch Gregory(Pockets) Petoskey

Highly recommend Seven Arrows. We've been through several rehabs, but this approach worked the best for our daughter. Thank you Laura and Rosa and Brian and the rest of the caring staff.

Five stars aren’t enough to express that going to treatment at Seven Arrows made me want to live my life again. Before I admitted to treatment there I was struggling with severe alcoholism, anxiety, and PTSD. I thought my life would always be filled with flashbacks, intrusive/racing thoughts, and low self-esteem. After spending 80 days with their incredible therapists and staff, life feels enticing again. The property that the facility is built on is gorgeous with the Swisshelm Mountains in the backyard of the facility, and the therapeutic groups are trauma-informed, culturally unique, and make you feel like you’re a part of something special. As a small side note: I’m a practicing Catholic and the staff there was extremely accommodating towards my relationship with my faith and allowed me to receive the sacraments from a local priest during my stay. I can’t thank everyone who makes the Seven Arrows experience possible enough for giving me my life back and showing me by example how I’d like to live my life as a sober young woman. A’ho! 🌵🪶💕

7 Arrows changed our family’s trajectory. Our son received a highly individualized treatment plan which was not the case at other treatment centers. The team collaborated so effectively and worked diligently to meet him where he was, to support him and hold him accountable in the most compassionate way. We know for certain that he would not be where he is if he had not spent the time he did at 7 Arrows. I cannot say enough good about the staff (Chief Two Moons, Pam, LJ, Brad, Tyler. Placita, Melissa…to name a few!) and of course at the helm, Laura, and the experience he had. It was like a family that wrapped itself around our son, a truly unique, special program. From the traditional modalities to the non-traditional healing modalities, our son found a path back to his center and is back from the cloud of addiction. He is on a path of long term recovery thanks to the dedication and heart of 7 Arrows. Truly, look no further. If you or a a loved one is in need of an incredibly committed treatment program, give yourself the gift of time at 7 Arrows.
