Empact Suicide Prevention Center is a community behavioral health and crisis management facility that helps adults with substance use and co-occurring conditions. They’re LGBTIQ+ friendly. They provide specialized services for service personnel as well. They have multiple facilities serving residents of Maricopa and Pinal counties in Arizona. Thi
This is a mental health facility that includes Therapy, a Dr to prescribe needed meds to contribute to your mental health and group meetings/sessions like anger managent group. You may be familiar with their services as they used to be on the trail but had this facility built to thier purposes and moved in earlier this year. It is a nice upgrade. I do mostly video sessions myself. It's a nice facility but my agoraphobia doesn't let me leave the house as much as I would like. It isn't as all encompassing as I would like it to be. They focus on they highly popular Depression and Anxiety and don't delve into to the many more disorders that need just as much if not more support. That's why I dropped a star. I'm on Medicare and a fixed income and this facility helps with other things like $0 copay for your mental health meds, a social worker to check in on you at home to see if there are things you need to improve your life that you may not even realize until they offer or you ask. I get food boxes and free rides into therapy and group, if I can go. Your needs may be different so ask the social worker they assign you. I can't speak to all the therapists as I'm satisfied with the Susie the first therapist they assigned me when I moved my therapy here earlier this year. I had a bad experience when I first reached out for help 10 years ago and quit before my 3rd session because I didn't know it was OK to ask for someone else. That not onlly delayed my ability to heal and it actually sent me into a downward spiral, out of control for a few years. I say this because it's really important to know. One therapists style is not a good fit for everyone. "Interview" your therapist for a couple sessions and if they don't feel right ask for another. Some people need to try on multiple therapists to find one that fits. You need to be 100% comfortable opening up to and bearing your inner most (and sometimes darkest) secrets, and problems to. You talk to this person about things you don't even tell your spouse/partner. Ask for another option, they won't be upset. I hope you can get help here. If you can't then find somewhere to go. You can't start a new life without support. Mental health is not something you can do solo. If you could you'd already be healed.

These people run a great place - referred a friend and they are doing great - some of the best people around. They really care. If you find yourself or a loved one in a tough position - Courtney and her team will go above and beyond. Addiction is a tough thing. It’s hard on everyone who is involved and if you have to go through it, that is the place you want on your side. 10 stars.

Detox can be a daunting and dangerous experience. I’m so glad I found Gallus Detox Phoenix. I felt safe and protected the entire time. The facility was impeccably clean and provided me with all the necessary medical, personal and nutritional needs. Most importantly, the staff, to include the physician, clinicians and administrators were knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, and confidential. Without hesitation, I can give Gallus Phoenix, my highest recommendation.

This was my 3rd residential experience, 2nd PHP, and 4th IOP. I wish this was my first, I’d likely have found the healing and comfort I was looking for years ago. I would absolutely recommend going through the Providence program to anyone who is looking for a change in the way they view themselves, the world, or the substances they can’t seem to get away from. The staff are genuinely great people - they’re funny, relatable, kind, they care, and they’re just real. The therapists are all very different from one another which helps make the entire experience really feel like it’s for me. They all have different personalities and communication styles, but the exact same high level of knowledge, experience, and professionalism. I’ve met a lot of truly incredible human beings who were also patients who I see are also in what looks like lasting and meaningful recovery (this is coming from someone who’s been to countless treatment centers and has seen people fall off as soon as they leave.) TLDR: just do it. If you’re reading this review, you’re probably suffering like h***. What else could you possibly lose by giving this a try?

From Residential to IOP, the experience was impressive. I spent about 100 days with Scottsdale Providence and was dealing with a lot of legal issues, FMLA and disability needs. Knowledgeable, qualified staff with continuous training helped me every step of the way. I was educated in mental health and my addiction and provided every tool necessary to continue a fulfilling, sober life. The connections Scottsdale Providence provides to ensure every part of the client is served was amazing. From seeing a medical doctor, a psych nurse, yoga studio, resources for continuum of care once treatment has concluded all assisted me in my recovery. I couldn't be more grateful to the organization and staff. They literally saved my life!

My Mom has been with Soul Surgery for the past 2 months. It's been truly amazing to witness her transformation & continued progression since joining. What I love about Soul Surgery is that it has provided my Mom with a stable environment to live alcohol-free, receive support and training for sober living, and encourages her freedom in creating a fulfilled and joyful life. She rides her bike every day around the city and nearby parks, chooses to meal prep her food weekly for health, enjoys fun hobbies, and is free to come and go as she pleases. She is vibrant, excited about life, and is consistently engaged in the training activities and group meetings that she attends daily. I am happy that we are able to spend time together anytime on and offsite. It was great to get together on Memorials Day for swimming & family time. It is so nice to get to visit and talk on the phone and in person. I am extremely grateful for Soul Surgery and the difference it is making for my Mom. I am looking forward to seeing her continue on her path of recovery and create everything she desires for her life. <3

I cannot express enough gratitude for the transformative impact this place has had on my mom's life. After 15 years of battling addiction, her two-month stay here has been nothing short of miraculous. The supportive environment, coupled with compassionate staff and fellow residents, has been instrumental in her journey to sobriety. This haven is not just a house; it's a beacon of hope for individuals seeking recovery. We are forever indebted to the incredible team behind this life-changing program.

With this facility transitioning to a hybrid sober living platform requiring the daily programming with the way it has been taught has been life changing to say the least, the opportunity my wife and I have been given to join this program I must say not only my life individually has been saved my marriage has been as well and that has not been a focus in fact my marriage saved is a most pleasant by product of my own and my wife's sobriety as individuals, while my wife and I are working this program as individuals our bond has grew in strength along with the connection we have which is growing daily, this in depth 12 step based program has taught me how to live differently in sobriety. With learning how to live differently in sobriety the freedom to come and go as we please along with the ability to work has been excellent to allow us to experience the outside world while still in a safe environment, with this being my first and only treatment that I've ever gone through it be extremely difficult to imagine any other program having the impact Soul Surgery has had on me if I was given a choice how I want to attain sobriety I would chose this place, I am forever thankful and greatful for having the opportunity for sobriety and learning how to use the tools from who I have learned them from. Coach M I thank you for the opportunity and I'm grateful to learn how I am being taught.

My experience at PPR was truly outstanding, and I can’t say enough good things about my case manager, Darci. From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, compassionate, and genuinely cared about helping me succeed. She was always there to answer my questions, provide guidance, and make sure I had everything I needed throughout the process. Her support made a difficult time so much easier, and I always felt heard and respected. I’m extremely grateful for everything she did for me and the positive impact she had on my experience. I was a resident in treatment for 28 days at the North Scottsdale location. My experience was second-to-none, and I would like to thank each member of the staff. This place gave me my life back. They helped me uncover the root of my problems. They guided me through intensive therapy. Their staff took genuine care of my well-being through a balanced routine of individual and group therapy, education, physical, and nutritional practices. They allowed me space and time to look inward to process grief, trauma, self-destructive tendencies, behavioral issues, addiction, and mental health issues. Michael handled my individual therapy and lead process group. His wisdom, charisma, and honesty lead me through breakthrough after breakthrough from my trauma, my triggers, and the root causes of my behaviors. He helped me outline a treatment plan suited to my individual needs and goals. He was the maestro and I the musician. Cami provided education, lead group discussion, and gave us tools daily to help me through treatment. She provided clarity and helped me navigate the deeps waters of my issue simply by supplying the life vest to keep me afloat. As the case manager she helped me navigate the balance between my wants and my needs. Gerry was the behind-the-scenes director of the house, the staff, and the structure of my care. She managed every in and out of the schedule, provided a foundation for the house, a structure for the day-to-day needs of the residents and the staff who cared for them. She is the ultimate mother hen, tediously and tirelessly devoted to overall well-being of all who enter the home. Patsy is the resident chef and an absolute angel of a person. Not only did she provide the residents with the best meal plan, catering to the needs of everyone, she professionally and excellently prepared and configured every meal. She wasn't just the chef, she was the glue to bring everyone together. Having her around during the day offered a safe space to communicate, to show care, and bring love, light, and kindness to the home. She will give it to you straight with a smile and then drag your ass to the gym when you’re ready. The nurses, Layla and Vicki, were so wonderful. Responsible for keeping our meds, appointments, and care daily. They meticulously took notes and monitored our mental and physical well-being. Not only so but were a part of our lives lead medical and mental health classes and facilitated group activities. Beautiful souls and caregivers. The BHT’s were outstanding and uniquely suited to run the inner workings of the house and its processes. Keeping the schedule, maintaining our accomodations, managing our routine, schedule, and structure. Krispy (spelling?) was a perfect gentleman and a caring soul. Devoted and willing to do anything needed with a smile. He was genuine, hilarious, thoughtful, and kind. Easy to talk to and helpful in any way. Nate was a gentle, observant, and spiritual soul. Relatable, considerate, and an advocate to all. He showed up with a willingness to work and help others, always. Brian, a man of true integrity, wisdom, and heart. Often he would engage with every individual and provide honesty, guidance, and actionable advice. A real no BS straight shooter, but a loving, thoughtful and caring man genuinely looking out for the well-being of everyone he interacted with. Desha, a hardworking, insightful, and calming presence. Willing and able to meet anyone at their level. Considerate, giving and thoughtful, another true gift to the program. Jay is a yoga master born of light and love, ready to guide you to peace. Master T is a man wrapped in light and positivity. As a trainer he challenges your physical body and sharpen your mind along the way. I will forever be grateful to each and every one of the people who contributed to helping me get back to my wife and children a better and whole man, forever changed for the better. If you need help please seek this place out. I promise they will take care of you and in turn help you take care of yourself. You are worth it!

I started at Cornerstone in December of 2024, thinking I would be in and out in the virtual program. Now, see I needed a liver transplant and thinking it would help get me on the list quicker do this and be done. Todd My counselor and the rest of the staff helped me through my ups and downs and understood when I wasn’t with it! But I still showed! They saved my life and were there for before and after transplant. The staff showed me I needed to love myself before I could work on myself but I needed to work on myself before I could love myself. Now I get the pleasure to be part of the staff. I always say it is hard work but when you get it , you get!

I have been coming here for over 15 years and would tell anyone struggling with opioid addiction that there is a place where you can find help and never have to suffer from debilitating pains in agony because your body is going thru withdraw and you will never have to suffer in silence trying to hide from your addiction that is always going to catch up with you so if your ready to free yourself from burden of having to chase pills and always wandering if you'll have enough to make it thru another day just hoping you can find someone who has some thing to stop those withdraws this is the place for you to find what your looking for. Methadone treatment saved my life and don't listen to what anyone tells you or what you may have heard about methadone treatment just make the call and come talk to one of the counselors to get the facts and then give it a chance because they don't expect anyone to be cured overnight but they can offer the support and start you on medication and give you more the next day and keep sticking to that plan to show up everyday youll keep getting a little bit more everyday by the end of your first week you will start to feel so much better by end of week 2 you'll be able to get a good night's rest 3rd week you won't worry because the withdraws will subside by week 4 you'll still be raising your dose but withdraws will be gone but you may still have cravings or you may not need to raise your dose any higher but whatever the case they will give you everything you need to get you drug free until you have no more cravings and you will soon wander why you waited so long to start treatment. Whatever excuses you have not to start or keep going back they can help with getting rides , filling application for access if you need help paying or can't pay they have lots of programs that might qualify you for help to get started on treatment so give them a call , you won't regret it and privacy for patience is a top priority so if your worried someone might find out like an employer or family member they do not and will not ever acknowledge if someone is or is not a patient so they can protect every person who walks thru their doors from having to worry about the choice to come there and consequences of someone finding out they make every patient sign a non disclosure agreement so if someone you know happens to show up one Day they are banned from exposing any person or patient or even talking about seeing someone while they are there for treatment so it's very discreet and you need to take a chance make the call and get your life back on track because your never to old to learn something new like how to live your life sober and happy so they will give you the tools you will need to succeed and I hope if I can convince just one person to try then these words will have been worth all it took to get them somewhere to let someone find them and if I save just one person that's enough for me and I hope to see you there one day

Just wanted to take a few minutes and put some knowledge out there for anyone looking for addiction treatment. BAART Is an awesome place to go for methadone or suboxone treatment. I’ve been going here for years and always received the highest quality treatment and the staff is amazing and actually cares about the people who come here for help. All of the counselors are amazing especially my counselor Sarah, they take the time to listen to you without judgement and will help u anyway they can. And all of the nurses are fantastic they work so hard to get everyone in and out fast as possible and always have a smile on there face and they wish everyone a happy day as there leaving. And the lady that checks everyone in every morning is always so happy and just makes ur day better with her positivity which is hard to find these days. And the new manager that is there now has made some great changes and one that I really like is calling for people to come back to get there medicine 2 at a time instead of a stampede of people that way u have more privacy incase u need to ask questions or maybe u need some help and u don’t wanna advertise it. She is making great changes. And the doctor is very efficient he gets you in takes care of business and answers any questions you have and gets you on your way which I think is great. So if your out there and looking for help and need addiction treatment trust me call BAART there all here to help and take it from me life is so much better when u ask for help and you come to a place like this and actually get it and get your life back together.

If you need a place to get your life back on track and help you fight addiction this is the location. The team at this location really goes above and beyond. From the greeting with a smile and positive attitude with the receptionist "Monique". To the nurses "Anita" and "Trish" asking how you are doing and caring about your progress. I really enjoy the group meeting which they offer 3 times a week at 5am so people working early can also make it. I really appreciate the counseling by "Nessyar" he asks good questions that make you think.. the one I enjoy which he asks in every meeting I attended is :"what is most important to you?" Which I believe the (right) answer is "myself/my sobriety". Often people answer my family, my animals, my job. But I understand the meaning behind the question if you know and care about what is most important to you and think of that when you first wake up. You will not want to go down that road were you are getting caught up again. It's about staying committed to the program and relying on Baart to keep your mind focused on the goal of living a productive life without that 'monkey on your back'. Really appreciate every single employee there. They have changed my life and I hope they know the work they do is important. Go here if you need help, do not be embarrassed. We all need help and this place will not judge but be by your side.

TLC Treatment Center in Mesa helped me get my life back on track. I came in feeling lost and honestly didn’t expect much, but the structure, support, and community completely changed that. The staff doesn’t sugarcoat things they’re honest, and they push you to do the work, but they also care. You’re not just another number here. They helped me with job search, recovery goals, and even housing support while I was in outpatient treatment. It’s not about luxury, it’s about real recovery. If you’re looking for a treatment program in Mesa that actually works and holds people accountable, I’d recommend TLC 100%.

I’ve seen a lot of treatment centers come and go, but TLC in Mesa really stands out. The program is structured and holds you accountable, but there’s also genuine care behind the rules. The staff meets you where you’re at, and it’s clear they want to see people succeed. They helped me not just with recovery, but with job readiness and life skills too. Housing was included while I was in outpatient, and that stability made a huge difference. If you’re serious about turning things around, this place can give you a real shot. It’s not fancy or flashy, but it works and that’s what matters. I’d recommend TLC to anyone in Mesa or nearby who’s looking for solid support and real results in their recovery journey.

I learned a lot going to TLC. I have heard many stories about others and how they don’t work but this one works! The staff are absolutely amazing and help anyone and everyone in anyway possible. It’s a 4 month treatment center but in that 4 months they teach you so much and they help you get back on your feet. You go out and look for jobs so that when your time is done there you should have a job and some money saved up and not just thrown back out in the streets! This place was a god send!

I reached out to Soba in early January 2025, not knowing what to do in regard to my son. He had been to 14 rehabs over the last 10 years, and my wife and I were honestly lost when it came to how to help him. I’ll never forget the call I had with Chris. It was close to midnight, and my son had just shown up at our house out of the blue in very rough shape. Not knowing what to do, I got on Google and clicked on the first facility that popped up. After countless failed attempts at sobriety, I wasn’t very optimistic about the outcome if we were to get him into yet another rehab. Chris was incredibly kind and patient and walked us through every step of the process. He spoke with us for close to an hour before even getting to the age-old question of payment or insurance. Unfortunately, my son wasn’t willing to go to treatment that night, but Chris and I stayed in touch over the next week. It happened exactly like Chris said it would. With my son, the willingness to get help can be fleeting. Addiction has its peaks and valleys, and that willingness tends to come when he feels like he’s finally out of options. Sure enough, the next time my son showed up asking for help, I was able to use the conversation Chris and I had to get him on the phone with Soba and into their detox program. I’m so grateful for Soba and for the support my wife and I received over the next few months while my son was there. I’m happy to report that he is still sober today, and our relationship with him continues to grow stronger. Addiction took my son away from me for years, but recovery has given me back the son I always knew he was capable of becoming. He is kind, caring, and a genuinely good man. As a parent, there are really no words to describe what it feels like to see your child come back to life after watching addiction take so much from them. To any parents reading this who are going through something similar: please don’t give up on your child. Learn how to set boundaries. Learn how to support them without enabling them. And understand that you don’t have to have all the answers yourself. We certainly didn’t. If you’re at the point where you simply don’t know what to do anymore, call Soba. Even if your child isn’t willing to get help that day, make the call for yourself. They will listen, help you understand what you can do, and be there when the opportunity to get your child help finally comes.

This is such a warm welcoming place with amazing staff. Beth came to pick me up and helped me gather all of my belongings out of a hotel room that were scattered everywhere and made the ride there so very easy. Travis was also amazing and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, he shared his story with me, then went to target to get me some soda water that I had been craving AND a fan because I was hot. He really went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and then dropped them off while I was sleeping and never expected a thank you or anything, just out of the kindness of his heart. Rick had recognized me from church and continued to let me know there was a reason I was saved that day and kind words of encouragement the whole time I was there. These people really went out of there way to make me not only comfortable but helped encourage me at my lowest point. I will forever be thankful for them. ❤️

**This is NOT a review of Lifewell** This place has changed to be part of the Terros Health Organization. I was referred here by my mental health providers for counseling. I was referred after a difficult change in my life and relationships. I was mainly looking for someone to talk to as well as work on returning a focus to my needs and how to do that all over again. Though I have only had a few sessions so far, I have been pleased with the services I have received. Being that the focus right now is strictly for me as an individual, I have met with someone that fit with my preferred requirements (female, talk therapy). I have been told that if I need to change the focus of my therapy (couples, CBT) there is a large network with other locations included that can fit those needs. The only thing is that I only see them every 2 weeks so I am unsure if that is due Medicaid limits or their availability. So I feel based on that if you need something more intense, this might not be the best option for you. Though in my situation, I am just glad to have someone that I can talk all this through with.

I was pissed off at the prospect of going to Rehab. Mainly because my PO made me, on the heels of me relapsing when my best friend died. Going here was my second time at a rehab center. So I felt like I had enough knowledge about myself to get back on track with my sobriety. After talking to Shana during my intake process I realized this was going to be the break from life’s stressors that I have been crying for based on my alcoholic behaviors leading up to my relapse. While it was my re-introduction to the 12 steps and my belief in God that has restored me back to sanity. It was the serene atmosphere and the tremendous staff. I loved working with my therapist Anna! Along with other licensed therapist like Steve, Barbra, Rachel and Tracy, and new intern Aimmie. I enjoyed the daily exchange with all of the BHT’s like: Ebony, Lola, Divina, Jon, Jason, Easton, Khachie, Miss Ella, Destiny, Stephanie, Rico, and the 2 young ladies with the fly shoes! Along with the young lady from Chicago. They were all very knowledgeable and welcoming to me daily. And my family on Sundays. The alumni coordinator Mark and Miss Stephanie are great ambassadors of the company and overall community built here that extends to meetings that alumni are welcome to attend after detox or treatment. All of the nurses were great, even when they were working long hours they would go out of their way to ensure our safety was maintained and prioritized. The use of a psych provider was great because I felt like my sobriety was important to everyone. There is an open door policy to file grievances with John, I never had to but I did see some people do so and Mr. John always acted swiftly. Lastly, Mr. Anthony was paramount to to the serenity and the peaceful atmosphere to ensure growth. The activities offered through yoga and pickle ball with Adrian and fitness training with Coach Carl was exactly what I needed to learn new leisure activities to do while sober outside of meetings and service work. I owe a huge thanks to God for guiding me to Canyon Vista and to canyon vista for having open doors for me. More importantly the people is what made Canyon vista a great experience. I love my new friends in sobriety and the fact that we all meet up at least on Wednesday and Saturdays at 6pm is the type of connection that lays a strong foundation for anyone struggling with addiction and how to live a new life.
