During my time at LaFrontera I have made quite a lot of progress. While the whole team has played a part in my healing, I would like to take a moment and recognize the efforts put forth by Annette Bouw. She has been my therapist and leads two groups which have been very beneficial to me, Creative Expressions and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I appreciate how Annette has been able to explain quite succinctly how various psychological and physiological factors affect my mental health. This understanding has helped me more than I can properly express. As a therapist she can be quite intuitive and insightful. While there have been moments when her methods have clashed with my sensibilities, these moments have also exposed areas to focus on in subsequent sessions. Part of my self imposed therapy, even before I stepped through LaFrontera’s doors, was to learn German via Duolingo. Though Annette does not speak that language, she does speak many, and has been able discuss the road to fluency with me. Whether or not this is part of her job description, it has helped me.
Creative Expressions was one of the first groups I joined. I cannot overstate how much this group has helped me. I have aspirations of becoming an author and Creative Expressions has helped to stir up my creativity.
Admittedly, I was reluctant to join DBT as I had often heard people comment that I already had great DBT skills. I am glad I joined, though. Even though I had a lot of the skills the group teaches, they are greatly improved now. I have made some friends there who have helped me on my journey, and I believe I have helped them on their journey also.
Participating in two of Annette’s groups has also had a synergizing affect on my treatment. Being in group with her often reveals talking points to her or I which we can then jump right into during therapy. When originally scheduled with her, Roseanna told me she was one of the best therapists here, and I agree, that praise is well deserved. My experience with the rest of the team is praise worthy as well.

This clinic has been a lifesaver for me!! They have amazing psychiatrists and the staff is always super friendly and make me feel important there. They are quick to help with any problems I have with my illness and medications. Highly recommend!!

I was so scared asking for help and didn’t know where to go, but this place came highly recommended. The only bad thing is that the fact that I had to leave anybody looking to get help there is not a better place to go in here. the staff is absolutely incredible. I cried more just seeing how well I was treated here than even dealing with my issues. I cannot recommend this place enough if you want help come here.

I was here for a 10 day detox. Every staff member here was incredibly compassionate, and I feel that they went to great lengths to take care of their patients. I would highly recommend this place for detox. Part of me never wants to leave. All I can say is they are truly amazing people And I will miss them all.

The staff and provider here made my stay bearable and successful. Dr. Sierzenski, Samantha BHT, Derrick RN, Stephanie RN, Veronica BHT, Ingrid RN, Gabby BHT, Tanisha RN, and all of them! They were attentive, compassionate, helpful, professional, but most of all... they were kind to me when I was in a very dark place and a world of hurt. Scottsdale Recovery has changed my life. If you or someone you know needs detox and/or treatment. This is the place. The staff is strategically handpicked by professionals; peers who have been through addiction and have come out the other end. The resources and services they provide are phenomenal, I would highly recommend SRC a million times over.
From day 1 to graduation, they guided me through, to a complete life changing transformation.
I don't even know where to start!! From speaking with Sandy at intake to all the staff at both residential and PHP everyone was amazing!! I was so nervous coming in and not knowing what to expect but if you stick with it and stay you will not regret it!! Everyone who works here is amazing and deserving of 5 stars!! Despite my obstinate reluctance to participate in this type of therapy, the staff has been extremely confident and flexible in finding a way to help me. I am still surprised and very grateful for their commitment and sincerity. They really have helped in a direct and tangible fashion in a very short time. I never would have guessed that I would end up with such gratitude and respect for the people and process I have been gifted with. I offer my best wishes for all those who sacrifice so much to help and serve to foster recovery and wellness for others. Somehow, even I seem to be worth the effort from such generous folk. My inability to fathom anything that could justify the time spent with me by such wonderous people does not diminish my gratitude for the effects of the education, caring and results achieved.

I was a client at Fountain Hills Recovery at the beginning 2025, and I felt compelled to leave a review about my time there. During my stay, I received treatment for Alcohol and actively participated in all components of the residential treatment program, including group therapy, individual therapy, and psychiatric therapy. The staff was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of taking back control of your life, and their care and kindness was well above what I expected to receive. The home I stayed in was always well stocked with food of your choosing, and the meals that were provided were well balanced and hit high marks from the chef that prepared them daily for us. Besides the great accommodations in place, the treatment I received was highly beneficial and had led me to know reach a 6 month milestone of living a sober and clean life. I am thankful for my decision to choose Fountain Hills and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about making decisions that will shape their future for the better.

Scottsdale Providence changed my whole life. I walked in completely broken, drinking and using to survive, carrying years of trauma and pain I didn’t even know how to set down. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was bc it was killing me. From the second I got there, the staff saw me in a way nobody ever has. They understood me. They didn’t judge me. Everything they do has intention. Nothing is random. There is rhyme and reason behind every group, every boundary, every tough conversation, and every moment they push you to sit with yourself instead of running.
And honestly, the people you meet here… they’re a huge part of the healing. The patients are amazing bc the staff creates a space where everyone feels safe and connected. You end up being transparent in ways you never have before. You hear everyone’s truth. You share yours. You feel seen and less alone. That kind of honesty changes you.
Most of the staff are addicts in recovery too, with years and years of sobriety. That makes such a difference. They don’t talk at you. They talk with you. They get the addict mind. They understand the shame, the fear, the spiraling, the survival mode. They know what it feels like to want to quit and still feel pulled back in. You just feel understood on a soul level.
They didn’t just help me stop drinking and using. They helped me understand why I did it. They got to the root emotionally, physically, and spiritually. With this facility transitioning to a hybrid sober living platform requiring the daily programming with the way it has been taught has been life changing to say the least, the opportunity my wife and I have been given to join this program I must say not only my life individually has been saved my marriage has been as well and that has not been a focus in fact my marriage saved is a most pleasant by product of my own and my wife's sobriety as individuals, while my wife and I are working this program as individuals our bond has grew in strength along with the connection we have which is growing daily, this in depth 12 step based program has taught me how to live differently in sobriety. With learning how to live differently in sobriety the freedom to come and go as we please along with the ability to work has been excellent to allow us to experience the outside world while still in a safe environment, with this being my first and only treatment that I've ever gone through it be extremely difficult to imagine any other program having the impact Soul Surgery has had on me if I was given a choice how I want to attain sobriety I would chose this place, I am forever thankful and greatful for having the opportunity for sobriety and learning how to use the tools from who I have learned them from.

PPR played a vital role in my recovery. I was at my rock bottom and would not have survived much longer had I not walked through those doors.. once I did the welcoming and relatable staff shared their stories of their own recoveries. I quickly realized that my life wasn't as over as I thought! I've never felt better about my recovery! Treatment centers I have experienced in the past were good but PPR has given me a whole new way to live with my addiction. If you are ready to start living your life, Pinnacle Peak Recovery is where it all begins. From there detox, residential, PHP, and IOP, a new beginning starts here. With 1 on 1 therapy and all the programs offered we were able to figure out what best works for me. You can do the same here. I know you will be able to find the recovery that works best for you. I’m in long-term recovery from literally every substance and mental health issue known to man. It’s been a very difficult journey and I’m beyond grateful to have found Estil Wallace and Cornerstone. I’m a graduate school student, intern, and entrepreneur. I work in behavioral health and I was having a really hard time finding a safe space to focus on my own recovery. I attended the Tuesday night men’s stag meeting and IMMEDIATELY felt at ease. It’s an AMAZING men’s AA meeting. Very clearly literature-based and solution-oriented. Not only is the building IMMACULATE but I saw men reading Big Books and doing Step Work. I had to work through a lot of trauma and a lot of grief before I felt comfortable enough to go anywhere besides therapy and the gym. As soon as I got to Cornerstone, I felt SAFE. I made that meeting my home group right then and there. Thank you guys for all that you do. You’re amazing people doing amazing things and I’m grateful to have been invited to attend that meeting.

I have been coming here for over 15 years and would tell anyone struggling with opioid addiction that there is a place where you can find help and never have to suffer from debilitating pains in agony because your body is going thru withdraw and you will never have to suffer in silence trying to hide from your addiction that is always going to catch up with you so if your ready to free yourself from burden of having to chase pills and always wandering if you'll have enough to make it thru another day just hoping you can find someone who has some thing to stop those withdraws this is the place for you to find what your looking for. Methadone treatment saved my life and don't listen to what anyone tells you or what you may have heard about methadone treatment just make the call and come talk to one of the counselors to get the facts and then give it a chance because they don't expect anyone to be cured overnight but they can offer the support and start you on medication and give you more the next day and keep sticking to that plan to show up everyday youll keep getting a little bit more everyday by the end of your first week you will start to feel so much better by end of week 2 you'll be able to get a good night's rest 3rd week you won't worry because the withdraws will subside by week 4 you'll still be raising your dose but withdraws will be gone but you may still have cravings or you may not need to raise your dose any higher but whatever the case they will give you everything you need to get you drug free until you have no more cravings and you will soon wander why you waited so long to start treatment. Whatever excuses you have not to start or keep going back they can help with getting rides , filling application for access if you need help paying or can't pay they have lots of programs that might qualify you for help to get started on treatment so give them a call , you won't regret it and privacy for patience is a top priority so if your worried someone might find out like an employer or family member they do not and will not ever acknowledge if someone is or is not a patient so they can protect every person who walks thru their doors from having to worry about the choice to come there and consequences of someone finding out they make every patient sign a non disclosure agreement so if someone you know happens to show up one Day they are banned from exposing any person or patient or even talking about seeing someone while they are there for treatment so it's very discreet and you need to take a chance make the call and get your life back on track because your never to old to learn something new like how to live your life sober and happy so they will give you the tools you will need to succeed and I hope if I can convince just one person to try then these words will have been worth all it took to get them somewhere to let someone find them and if I save just one person that's enough for me and I hope to see you there one day

This place doesn’t make you feel worthless because of the reason you are here. They extend more than just help with drugs. They’re sincere and human and my counselor Marne is amazing and a wonderful woman. She has definitely been in my life and has made such a huge difference in my recovery from prescription pain meds to now Suboxone. This is going to be my sixth year in recovery. Highly recommend this place.

I was able to leave this program with some of the tools needed to help in my recovery. The groups were amazing! It is set up like a small village. You have multiple houses and meeting center in the middle of them. They also take you out for trips to the park and even church on Sundays.

If it wasn't for the staff here and their knowledge of helping people who have a addiction and working with veterans and the VA I would have probably relapsed if they would have let me go before I was really to go.
TLC Treatment Center in Mesa helped me get my life back on track. I came in feeling lost and honestly didn’t expect much, but the structure, support, and community completely changed that.
The staff doesn’t sugarcoat things they’re honest, and they push you to do the work, but they also care. You’re not just another number here. They helped me with job search, recovery goals, and even housing support while I was in outpatient treatment.

I’ve seen a lot of treatment centers come and go, but TLC in Mesa really stands out. The program is structured and holds you accountable, but there’s also genuine care behind the rules. The staff meets you where you’re at, and it’s clear they want to see people succeed.

I learned a lot going to TLC. I have heard many stories about others and how they don’t work but this one works! The staff are absolutely amazing and help anyone and everyone in anyway possible. It’s a 4 month treatment center but in that 4 months they teach you so much and they help you get back on your feet. You go out and look for jobs so that when your time is done there you should have a job and some money saved up and not just thrown back out in the streets! This place was a god send!
love the clinic I have been happy there since day one. Nurses are fantastic and checking in is always pleasant. She is a sweetheart. It's nice to go somewhere and know they really care

I’ve been too many clinics in my past life. I recently came back here. I’m not gonna disclose why, but this clinic has been nothing but helpful supportive. They treat you with respect I recently came into a problem with the doctor and the Director of this clinic was absolutely understandable. Amazing. Talk to me help me. I literally was gonna go somewhere else, but I couldn’t choose a better recovery family besides this program not only is the nurse Miss Anita very helpful to Kim mytherapist but Crystal Witt, MS, LISAC, BHP the director is 100% amazing and the number one reason I stay

I came here for several reasons. About 8 hours in, I decided it was not for me and that I was leaving. They encouraged me to not leave. Everyone was great! Very nice, hospitable and friendly. this is the third treatment center i have ever attended and i can say by far that this is the BEST one i have ever been to. they strictly focus on mental health and uncovering traumas i was always so scared to talk about. on top of that, the staff has always been so generous and genuine and that’s rare to find in treatment centers. it was a life changing experience for me that i’ll never forget- thank you!
Update: BHT Sarah reached out to me several times to let me know they were in transition for billing and reassured me my issue had been escalated. New admin Danielle, was fast and wonderful to work with. Canyon Vista has above and beyond staff members who did not stop until all issues were resolved completely. Thank you for making this right!
They keep trying to charge my FSA card monthly, unauthorized. I paid up front for the detox and resedential for my spouse. My partner only spent 4 days there earlier in the year. They wont respond to my inquiries or refund me. I sent a copy of the EOB from my insurance along with proof of charging my FSA card additionally. Still no response. I really don't know what else to do. I've been given the run around and no one returns my calls.

Canyon Vista Recovery Center.... What can I say?! This place has helped so many people as well as myself get themselves back. No longer a shell of who we used to be, now an even better version of ourselves thanks to every single aspect of this place. From the amazing staff right from when you call, then being transported there for intake with such genuinely kind people. Most of which have their very own stories of recovery. The BHT's there are like no other! (I've been many places sadly) Everyone here lifts your spirits and TRULY wants to see you recover!!
On one of my first stays here (yes there were a few. Takes time to get it right, I say.) I wanted to AMA simply because I was a brat that wanted her own brand of smokes and not the ones kindly GIVEN by the center. One of the lovely BHT's (who will remain nameless so they're not asked all the time...lol) went and bought me my own pack so I wouldn't leave. Tossed em to me and asked, " You staying now?" Damn right I stayed.
Even the food is freaking delish! Prepared microwavables that I think were made by Gordon Ramsey himself! 🤣🤣
Then the residential program is that if which one could only dream of being in! The camaraderie, the stories and the relationships you build here are ones to take with you for a lifetime! ❤️💐 I know I've made some lifelong friends here!
And the alumni meetings every Wednesday and Saturday at 6 are what I live for now! I will travel the hour from where I'm at to be there or else a zoom meeting it is!
This is the place to go when you're ready to take control of your life again. You gotta want it and no review will make you sober. But when you're ready, CANYON VISTA, all the staff there and everything else it encompasses will see you through to the other side without any judgement. They are there to help you. Just ask.

I've been going here for almost a year and a half and I love this place. They helped me find the courage inside of myself to overcome my fears. All the staff I had interactions with have always been pleasant. I have been to a couple behavioral health places and this has been the best one for me. Without this place I honestly don't know what I would have done. Thank you!

When my mom suddenly died last year I finally went to get a little help. These people have been so GENUINE and UNDERSTANDING. they didn't tell me what they THOUGHT was wrong, THEY HELPED ME FIGURE OUT WHAT IT WAS, AND THEN WE FOUND A WAY TO FIX IT TOGETHER. I was broken and without hope before coming to purpose healing now after not just completing but participating in the 35 day IDT program my life is completely different. I have learned important tools to staying sober and discovered 12 step work is vital to my sobriety! I have also learned a completely different belief system on how to live my life and I just want to thank a few important people that have really helped me along the way. Thank you Sunnyside house, Michael, Travis, Ms. A. Rodriguez, Victoria, and Wayne! I am looking forward to the future now that I have hope, self worth, and have found my Purpose!

Went to purpose healing..
I was able to address issues with my addiction while here. I gained sobriety, clarity and a plan for after care. I was treated respectfully by staff while having my needs met.
I was here 3/2 weeks ago and it was really great here I got alot of help here but I didn't like how the staff didn't help out when there was about to be a fight happening and I didn't like that and I'm only 14 years old but the great thing about is that you get to have a roommate and that is really good to but just watch out about the staff they barely help out but overall it was pretty good there

I have been in many behavior health hospitals but this one is by far the best! I don't particularly like the groups, they seem to be focused primarily on addiction and that doesn't apply to me. Putting that aside I learn quite a bit there including yoga. That was a lot of fun! I also have the opportunity to actually work with the staff to come up with a plan that will work for me. It has been a wonderful experience and I plan on going back if it's needed in the future.

I wouldn't trust anyone else, when it comes to Banner Behavioral health hospital..The Dr's,Nurses, Techs, staff..Are professionals,with degrees..Nurses are caring the adolescents have a big nice unit,and what is the best is they have a pool that is the best therapy..The Dr is honest and will have a plan when there patient is discharge..I was the happiest mom ever ..I definitely seen a change ..Excellent service professional staff..I would definitely would recommend Banner Behavioral Health..Thank you so much...
Only been a week and it’s been amazing so far! My team really cares about me and feels so good. All staff I met so far goes above and beyond! I am so happy I found an amazing virtual iop program!

I started Modern Recovery’s virtual IOP the end of April 2025 for substance abuse and mental health and graduated July 2025 after my 12 week treatment plan.
I loved the group session and my facilitator Braedon was amazing. He asked questions that were thought provoking and made me feel things I’d been bottling down and helped with through “sitting in the suck”. I never felt judged by anyone and only felt a great amount of support by my peers.
My case manager and individual therapist were also amazing and supportive. The team they have is responsive, respectful, and just plain amazing.
I thought there was no hope for me. I’d done detox twice and a 30 day inpatient rehab. This program helped me change that outlook and I’m full of gratitude. I’ve used the tools they have given me numerous times to work through cravings or through bouts of anxiety and/or depression. I am 244 days sober today and thankful for every moment that I felt exhausted and overwhelmed and didn’t want to go to group but did.
If I could continue the course with new educational modules I 100% would. Take the chance. I questioned it at first but I’m forever thankful I did.

My experience with Modern Recovery was very helpful for my mental health journey. The therapists and case workers here genuinely care and I honestly don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t take this first step to take care of myself. They made the process easy, handled most of the paperwork which eased my anxiety and words cannot express how amazing Bobbi & Demesha are as a case worker and therapist. Modern Recovery was something I didn’t know I needed, but it changed the trajectory of my life and I’ll always be thankful for their IOP program and the people who helped along the way.
