| New Hope Behavioral Health Center is located in Mesa, Arizona. This is an outpatient behavioral healthcare clinic that specializes in providing treatment services to men and women who are struggling with an opioid use disorder. Offering evidence based care that’s rooted in proven recovery methods and holistic approaches to recovery, they offe | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have been coming here for over 15 years and would tell anyone struggling with opioid addiction that there is a place where you can find help and never have to suffer from debilitating pains in agony because your body is going thru withdraw and you will never have to suffer in silence trying to hide from your addiction that is always going to catch up with you so if your ready to free yourself from burden of having to chase pills and always wandering if you'll have enough to make it thru another day just hoping you can find someone who has some thing to stop those withdraws this is the place for you to find what your looking for. Methadone treatment saved my life and don't listen to what anyone tells you or what you may have heard about methadone treatment just make the call and come talk to one of the counselors to get the facts and then give it a chance because they don't expect anyone to be cured overnight but they can offer the support and start you on medication and give you more the next day and keep sticking to that plan to show up everyday youll keep getting a little bit more everyday by the end of your first week you will start to feel so much better by end of week 2 you'll be able to get a good night's rest 3rd week you won't worry because the withdraws will subside by week 4 you'll still be raising your dose but withdraws will be gone but you may still have cravings or you may not need to raise your dose any higher but whatever the case they will give you everything you need to get you drug free until you have no more cravings and you will soon wander why you waited so long to start treatment. Whatever excuses you have not to start or keep going back they can help with getting rides , filling application for access if you need help paying or can't pay they have lots of programs that might qualify you for help to get started on treatment so give them a call , you won't regret it and privacy for patience is a top priority so if your worried someone might find out like an employer or family member they do not and will not ever acknowledge if someone is or is not a patient so they can protect every person who walks thru their doors from having to worry about the choice to come there and consequences of someone finding out they make every patient sign a non disclosure agreement so if someone you know happens to show up one Day they are banned from exposing any person or patient or even talking about seeing someone while they are there for treatment so it's very discreet and you need to take a chance make the call and get your life back on track because your never to old to learn something new like how to live your life sober and happy so they will give you the tools you will need to succeed and I hope if I can convince just one person to try then these words will have been worth all it took to get them somewhere to let someone find them and if I save just one person that's enough for me and I hope to see you there one day

Canyon Vista Recovery Center.... What can I say?! This place has helped so many people as well as myself get themselves back. No longer a shell of who we used to be, now an even better version of ourselves thanks to every single aspect of this place. From the amazing staff right from when you call, then being transported there for intake with such genuinely kind people. Most of which have their very own stories of recovery. The BHT's there are like no other! (I've been many places sadly) Everyone here lifts your spirits and TRULY wants to see you recover!!
On one of my first stays here (yes there were a few. Takes time to get it right, I say.) I wanted to AMA simply because I was a brat that wanted her own brand of smokes and not the ones kindly GIVEN by the center. One of the lovely BHT's (who will remain nameless so they're not asked all the time...lol) went and bought me my own pack so I wouldn't leave. Tossed em to me and asked, " You staying now?" Damn right I stayed.
Even the food is freaking delish! Prepared microwavables that I think were made by Gordon Ramsey himself! 🤣🤣
Then the residential program is that if which one could only dream of being in! The camaraderie, the stories and the relationships you build here are ones to take with you for a lifetime! ❤️💐 I know I've made some lifelong friends here!
And the alumni meetings every Wednesday and Saturday at 6 are what I live for now! I will travel the hour from where I'm at to be there or else a zoom meeting it is!
This is the place to go when you're ready to take control of your life again. You gotta want it and no review will make you sober. But when you're ready, CANYON VISTA, all the staff there and everything else it encompasses will see you through to the other side without any judgement. They are there to help you. Just ask.
Reach out!
But they could do better snack bags! BRING BACK THE REAL SODAS!!
Love you all immensely!

I served a mission in Venezuela. I was praying to know what to do when I got back from Venezuela and had a dream I was sitting around a fire with all these boys . Then around the hill came a group of boys . While I was in Venezuela I had a friend send a picture and on the back of it said Anasazi . I knew I was suppose to go work their when I got back. The very first day I went out their . I was sitting around the camp fire and that group of boys I had dreamt about came around that hill. Those boys I ended up working with them a month. I had the best experiences of my life with them changes happen to so many of them. I remember the first day climbing this huge mountain . I remember thinking wow this is soo hard that group of boys was the fastest group at hiking , I remembering thinking I am not sure I can continue . That exact moment I had that thought this boy by me said I remember this dream I had about you a couple weeks ago and you where that Angel that came to help me.
Anasazi is truly a place that changes hearts and families. I loved seeing the kids come in and the changes that happens with in them. They come from all kinds of backgrounds of life and then leave with this confidence and peace that comes with being out their and finding their way, because all the distraction of this world are gone. They can ponder and really think about life! They learn their choices have consequences weather that is good or bad. I will be forever grateful for my experience out their, and the wonderful people I worked with and the kids !

I've had two kids go to Anasazi for different reasons but life changing for both of them. A son 4 years ago, and a daughter who completed the program just a few days ago. Anasazi stands above all other wilderness survival programs because of their "walking as we" approach. When my daughter walked "ran away" from her group, the leaders went with her and walked alongside her to support her in her anxiety. No pressure, no conflict, just love and support. She chose to come back to the group and we picked her up 7 weeks later (last weekend) with a resilience in her eyes I've never seen before. If you are questioning your decision to send your child to Anasazi, don't. It's for teens and adults of most every level of struggling. As a mom of 2 young walkers, please feel free to message me through FB anytime. My name is Carrie Burdick Rice. I am an open book and willing to share my experience freely.

The Anasazi way has brought hope to our family. We were struggling to keep our daughter safe before we decided to take her to the Anasazi to walk the trail. The lessons both she and we learned through the journey has helped us turn our hearts to trying to walk together. Things are not perfect, but we are in a much better place thanks to the Anasazi Foundation. I highly recommend them.

It helped us get through a really tough time and gave us tools to better navigate a situation we never dreamed we would be in. Our daughter came out of a 30 day residential treatment program into ASAP, it was exactly the accountability she needed to stay the course to becoming clean and staying clean. The therapists were really great and the tools and content taught in the program were a game changer for us. This place saved my life. Be forever grateful for it …No, I mean YOU should be EXTREMELY grateful for it! EXCELLENT STAFF GOOD PEOPLE! I have referred at least 100 people to Crossroads. Probably 10 went. Out of that 10, I betcha 10 of them are still sober! They taught me how to deal with things without getting loaded. I lost everything I owned and instead of dwelling on that they taught me coping skills and I’ve successfully completed and I’m off probation now. I would love to work there so I could help the next generation stay sober. God bless America peace on earth and Goodwill toward all of ManKind. We’re all gonna be alright.

I visit here with my fiance he's been on and off coming to this location struggling with his addiction. Luckily I was able to get mine under control but as for him who still gets easily tempted.. this place is crowded sometimes during late mornings and people easily make drug deals right in front of recovering addicts. Please switch chairs around how they were facing forward towards the desks at one point and make sure people are not crowding on the walkways ect. Because it is triggering for people still struggling with addiction currently 🙏 especially asking if they have some to go walk anf smoke out in their cars... also maybe no purses in the bathroom if they place hooks on the outside door in front of the nurses to monitor. Because people WILL do FENTANYL in the restroom.. I've smelt it. Other than that. Staff are always nice even to me as im not a patient here 🙏

Have been coming to CMS for a little over 4yrs now, and can quite honestly say these folks brought my life back. From Kurt, to Jon, Sandy, and as of recently Ryan. I've never missed a day, and have never failed a UA. There was no need to return to my old ways. Recently I had my first, and hopefully only hiccup in the system. It forced me up the chain of command, and a gentleman named Ryan cleared the concern up. I'm so.very grateful for him swingin the bat for me, and resolving a potentially huge problem. Never once have I been treated lower than, and made me feel like I was an ordinary guy who hit a bump in the road. Couldn't be more thankful for Ryan and the team. They're true professionals, that can see thru the BS, and help where help is needed. Thank you CMS for giving me the tools to get my life back where it belonged, and for continuing to help in a judgement free manner 👍👍👍

Mesa, Arizona | TLC Treatment Center in Mesa, Arizona, is a licensed drug and alcohol treatment center. They are accredited by The Joint Commission and have been helping men and women recover from substance abuse since 2012. They offer individualized treatment to heal their clients from the damage addiction has done mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionall | Treatments Programs Payment Options | It's funny, I read all the negative comments about this place; "It's the worst of the worst," or "It's run by people who take your money and steal your things." There are plenty more, I'm sure. But listing every grievance would take up multiple paragraphs.
But then I think to myself, "It sounds like a bunch of ex-residents weren't happy about being told what to do and left, so they're saying anything to deter someone from getting help."
I know because I used to be a resident. I first came into contact with TLC when I was homeless and on crystal meth; I was 130 pounds and sucked up. Along with my weight I was losing my sanity, as well. I came to the Mac House in the early 2000's and they accepted me with no money, only a chance to get clean. I am grateful I did because this year I will have 20 years of sobriety, something I could have never done without the help of this place.
Ignore the negative comments. Sure, it's not a five-star resort or one of those treatment centers where they give foot massages and pampered restrictions. But it's a place to gain your sanity back, if you want it.

Being a 100% service-disabled US Army veteran, father to 4, and former professional bodybuilder who destroyed his body with products from “research facilities” without any medical oversight, Vita Bella Health changed everything for me.
After being let down time and time again by the VA and doctors I have sought help from, this team and its providers are the only one who 1. Care enough to see what it is I ACTUALLY need 2. Have top-quality products that will ACTUALLY help and 3. Take my family and future into consideration.
Enclomiphene, Sermorelin, Glutathione, NAD+ has been a game changer for my baseline. Next up is Tesamorelin, Tirzepatide, CJC-1295, MK-677, and Pentadeca Arginate (PDA)

Not only did they get the labs handled for me extremely quick, but they got me in early to see the physician (on a Wednesday morning) and my meds were shipped literally the next day and arrived by Friday. The pricing was the best I’ve ever gotten, and I’ve worked with over 8 wellness clinics and a couple other doctors over the last 13 years.
Everything I could’ve asked for they provided. We went over my labs in detail, made the necessary changes to medications to optimize my health, and then check ins monthly and labs every 60-90 days to make sure I’m in optimal range with all my bloodwork. Absolutely the best wellness clinic I’ve ever been with, and I’ve been with quite a few since I started TRT and other wellness medications. They were so good I had my step dad sign up to optimize his health as well.
If you’re on the fence about it, just do it. Best prices, awesome physicians, the owner Phil is super nice and took time out of his day to help me out and the meds are from the same pharmacies everyone else uses but with Vita Bella the pricing is far better than anywhere else. Highly recommend Vita Bella.

OMG! The review process for rehab centers should be banned! Most of us addicts are isolated and we like to self destruct and blame others. I call this denial, delusion and refusing to take control of my recovery. Ive been there 3 times in 55 years. Community Bridges is a first step in recovery and it is not some medical place that is expected to show fake empathy and love and provide a much needed vacation. Think of it has a place of freedom that is not brutal like jail where you are going to head to sooner or later. I speak from experience and i have nothing but 100% postive feedback for Community Bridges. If your life is unmanageable because of your addictions and/or mental disorders and your bank account is at 0 and you have no insurance then try and find gratitude and acceptance because Community Bridges saved my life from longer term Jail time and death.

great staff, great doctors. clean facility. this is just a rehab clinic, not inpatient. it's not a facility that primarily tackles mental health, it tackles addiction and provides you the resources you need to get the services you need for your mental health. they do what they intend to do and they do it well. this is the only drs office that has ever cared about me, and they're ahcccs friendly unlike a lot of drs offices. sucks that they have so many rough reviews, their current staff is excellent.

Mesa, Arizona | Monument Recovery is a treatment center that is driven by the belief that everyone deserves a chance to reclaim their life from the grips of addiction. Our “why” is to provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals struggling with substance abuse can find the tools they need to achieve lasting recovery. Monument Recovery is a treat | Treatments Programs Payment Options | If you’re hurting and don’t know where to turn, Monument is the place where healing finally starts to feel possible. I can honestly say Monument is one of the most equipped, compassionate, and genuine programs I’ve ever been part of. It isn’t just a facility… it’s a family who truly cares about helping individuals change their lives and regain freedom. Leadership shows up every day with integrity, empathy, and a sincere commitment to be of service.
Every department works together to support each client’s healing. Admissions meets clients and families with compassion and zero judgment. The clinical team helps clients process trauma, learn powerful coping skills, and rebuild confidence and purpose. The operations team provides safety, stability, and consistent day-to-day support. Together, they create an environment where real healing can happen.
During my time at Monument, I watched countless individuals transform their lives and rebuild relationships they thought were lost forever. Clients aren’t just a number… they are seen, heard, valued, and supported. Staff is educated and informed about substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders, and they know how to guide clients through real, lasting change.
One thing that always stood out to me was how many clients were so positively impacted that they chose to return as staff. That alone says a lot. Monument doesn’t just help people heal… it helps them grow into leaders, mentors, and individuals who believe in their future again.
With nothing but love, thank you to the team at Monument for everything. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity I had to learn, grow, and be part of something so meaningful.

Such a comforting place. Receptionists are willing and able to answer any questions you may have. Always prompt in returning phone calls. If I need help again (I hope not!), I won't go to another place other than here.

Great place to go if you want to turn your life around. Mike and other staff are very friendly and happy to work with you. I would definitely recommend Archways to anybody looking to get their life together. There are three men's houses and one women's house so they have plenty of space. The houses are all very nice and spacious. Also they are certified by the Arizona Recovery Housing Association, so it really is a solid place. Overall, it's a great place with great staff and I had a great experience.

Archways sober living is an amazing place to get sober. Mike gave me a chance when no one else would. I was given strong direction and got involved with a 12 step program. I wouldn't have the life I do today without Archways. I'll always be grateful to Mike and the rest of the staff!

Mesa, Arizona | Unhooked at the Heights provides alcohol and drug addiction treatment to men and women who live in the Mesa, Arizona area. This program utilizes evidence-based approaches to treating addiction and provides personalized treatment plans. Unhooked at the Heights offers residential and outpatient treatment. The residential program is for those who nee | Treatments Programs Payment Options | When I first got to Unhooked Recovery, I didn’t want to be there. But they give you twenty-four hours just to relax and settle in. After that, you start attending meetings throughout the day. At first, it felt like a lot, but I got used to it, and honestly, some of the BHTs were so passionate about what they do.. A few even shared their own personal stories, which made a big difference for me.
Even though I got comfortable there, I’ll admit — I was a handful. I got into trouble more times than I can count and probably should have been kicked out. But the staff truly cares about the people they help. From the regular BHTs, to the lead BHTs, and the caseworkers, to even the director — they all gave me chance after chance because they could see that I wanted to be there... Some even pulled me aside to talk with me one-on-one, which really stuck with me.
I originally planned to stay 30 days but ended up staying 60. Honestly, I would have stayed for 90 if I hadn’t been offered a great opportunity to move into a really good sober living that Unhooked recommended. This program had such a profound impact on my life. I’d struggled with opioid addiction for nearly 20 years, and Unhooked was the first rehab I ever went to. It completely changed everything for me.
As of writing this, I’ve been sober for over 6 months now — the longest period of sobriety I’ve ever had. I’m still living at the sober living Unhooked helped me find, and i'm doing really good there. I’ve even earned my peer support certification and several others since graduating. My goal now is to work at Unhooked Recovery and give back to the place that helped me turn my life around.
If you’re thinking about getting help, give Unhooked a chance. The staff here genuinely care, and if you’re willing to meet them halfway, they’ll do everything they can to help you succeed.

Jan 3rd 2023 I flew from Philadelphia to AZ and straight into Unhooked’s residential program. I graduated to the Winthrop house and eventually started working here, I’ve been employed with unhooked for 2 years now. And if it wasn’t for this place I truly don’t know where I would be in life today. Unhooked is my family and I wouldn’t want it any other way . Today I get the privilege to help individuals get there self out of that deep hole I was once in and showing them there is a way out of addiction 🍀 thank you to unhooked recovery for saving my life!!

I have Autism and I have never had anyone here treat me poorly, unkindly or like I’m a bother or burden, unlike other places I’ve gone to before that only seem to care about their bottom line.
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with ANY medical professional has been with Dr. Ramses. Dr. Ramses is very kind, professional, understanding and knowledgeable. He actually cares. He takes the time to listen to me, and explain the possible options and medication for my condition and treatment. I truly feel like I’m in good hands with him and so are you!

Mesa, Arizona | The comprehensive substance use treatment services provided by Terros Health - Stapley Health Center - Primary Care in Mesa, Arizona, are customized to meet your needs. Their outpatient services will support you during your recovery process. One essential element is group therapy which offers a calming setting that promotes community healing and sk | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Rough start to initiate a treatment plan. Played phone tag and missed a visit during the first week or so. Once I finally had my 1st appointment and met my ‘recovery coach’, I learned he is a peer in recovery which is always nice since they really can empathize with you and do. My coach waited for me without a single complaint although I was late and stressed out. He seemed passionate about helping me get back on track and he was a real person. By that I mean when he spoke to me it wasn’t like he was reciting the pledge of allegiance in the 3rd grade with a monotone voice (😂😁😂😁). He (Charlie Black) was genuine and real, nonjudgmental and supportive. Hoping the rest of my time with Terros is like this, as I know Terros didn’t use to really be anyone’s first choice for services. I’m very pleased to see that this is changing. Slowly but surely.

It's a good company. Sometimes you have to be patient and maneuver through the calls. Travis Brault is an EXCELLENT doctor and listened to all my BS and past stories. But he found me the best options and exact medications I needed best suitable for my needs. Thanks. Travis

They are very helpful and love attending groups here. I don’t understand the negative reviews. In all reality people who have negative to say are not taking their own self accountable for why they are needing help in the first place. Accept help and get some guidance and put your ego aside and don’t forget the high amount of volume in patients they get. I thank terros for the help they given me and continue to do so.

Mesa, Arizona | CPLC - Chicanos Por La Causa - Centro Esperanza in Mesa, Arizona, offers substance abuse treatment and behavioral health services for adults and families. They have inpatient, outpatient and transitional programs for Arizona residents. They serve all individuals but place an emphasis on the Latino community. Their behavioral health services are cen | Treatments Programs Payment Options | So far so good. Got my prescriptions without any problem, so no anxiety there. Working with the benefit specialist and vocational rehab representative to start my routine into recovery. I pray that this clinic has the support team that I'm looking for in order to recover properly this time. Thank you, and keep putting towards that effort. It's a skeleton crew. You've got workers wearing multiple hats, which is why I give them a little bit of slack. Always advocate for yourself. A worker in this field will understand when a person is advocating and why. Somebody who doesn't should not be in this field of work.
I have not felt uncomfortable, disrespected nor ignored at this clinic. There will be an update after three months. Let's see how things go. Fingures crossed. My nightmare is ending up at a Southwest Behavioral Health, or a Terros clinic. Those clinics caused PTSD of the behavioral health system. Try CPLC first, anywhere first really. Those two clinics are great for babysitting and not working on individual recovery. there are no more monthly board meetings where participants, and the heads of these clinics would come together to discuss matters. Since there is no monthly board meeting, like there was before, it makes it very hard to navigate the mental health system at this time. A huge innovation would be to bring back the once a month meetings, where all of these clinics, organizations, and new programs are introduced. Where participants like myself can voice their opinion. It was also a great place to collect business cards from higher uppers, because there are a lot of speed bumps in the recovery system, and those speed bumps are usually unprofessional people who try to govern your recovery and walk all over your rights. I am the only one that governs my recovery, and I am the only one that says I am recovering. That is called empowerment training. Don't let anybody in this system take that from you. Your voice is just as equal as theirs and make sure that you understand your rights and additional rights if you are SMI. It's ok to say no I do not agree. It is ok to see a new doctor, case manager, or therapist if you want. This is your time, your recovery, your voice that really matters. Not power pushers/control freaks.
Recommendation with CPLC is to contact the clinic the day before you have a ride scheduled just to confirm that it has been scheduled by the clinic. It's also ok to leave them a message the night before. That way if it's not scheduled, they have time to do it. Sometimes little things get busy and they forget, and it's my responsibility to make sure that they are reminded.
Wish me luck. I wish you luck too.

Mesa is the 110th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $58151. This is comparable to the average cost of $56789 for addiction treatment in Arizona and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Mesa vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Mesa. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Mesa that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Mesa.
Blue Cross Blue Shield is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Mesa, with 22 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. UnitedHealth Group is the 2nd most popular with 19 treatment centers accepting it followed by Aetna in 3rd accepted by 18 drug rehabs.
Mesa has the 108th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Maricopa county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Mesa or Maricopa county as a whole.
In 2023, Mesa had the 8th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 3807 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Mesa. All values are per 100,000 population.
