I don't really care where I live, this is my clinic. The staff turnover is not bad, at all, practically non existent, many have been there for a very long time. Everyone is super caring, accommodating, and always respectful. Plus, their hours are ideal for anything life throws at you.

I have been coming here for over 15 years and would tell anyone struggling with opioid addiction that there is a place where you can find help and never have to suffer from debilitating pains in agony because your body is going thru withdraw and you will never have to suffer in silence trying to hide from your addiction that is always going to catch up with you so if your ready to free yourself from burden of having to chase pills and always wandering if you'll have enough to make it thru another day just hoping you can find someone who has some thing to stop those withdraws this is the place for you to find what your looking for. Methadone treatment saved my life and don't listen to what anyone tells you or what you may have heard about methadone treatment just make the call and come talk to one of the counselors to get the facts and then give it a chance because they don't expect anyone to be cured overnight but they can offer the support and start you on medication and give you more the next day and keep sticking to that plan to show up everyday youll keep getting a little bit more everyday by the end of your first week you will start to feel so much better by end of week 2 you'll be able to get a good night's rest 3rd week you won't worry because the withdraws will subside by week 4 you'll still be raising your dose but withdraws will be gone but you may still have cravings or you may not need to raise your dose any higher but whatever the case they will give you everything you need to get you drug free until you have no more cravings and you will soon wander why you waited so long to start treatment. Whatever excuses you have not to start or keep going back they can help with getting rides , filling application for access if you need help paying or can't pay they have lots of programs that might qualify you for help to get started on treatment so give them a call , you won't regret it and privacy for patience is a top priority so if your worried someone might find out like an employer or family member they do not and will not ever acknowledge if someone is or is not a patient so they can protect every person who walks thru their doors from having to worry about the choice to come there and consequences of someone finding out they make every patient sign a non disclosure agreement so if someone you know happens to show up one Day they are banned from exposing any person or patient or even talking about seeing someone while they are there for treatment so it's very discreet and you need to take a chance make the call and get your life back on track because your never to old to learn something new like how to live your life sober and happy so they will give you the tools you will need to succeed and I hope if I can convince just one person to try then these words will have been worth all it took to get them somewhere to let someone find them and if I save just one person that's enough for me and I hope to see you there one day

7.87 / 10 | SOBA Recovery Center is an innovative rehab center located in Mesa, Arizona that provides cost-effective holistic substance abuse addiction treatment. It helps individuals with recovery by offering a multitude of programs, including residential treatment, sober living, detoxification, and outpatient treatment. The SOBA Recovery Center helps patie | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I reached out to Soba in early January 2025, not knowing what to do in regard to my son. He had been to 14 rehabs over the last 10 years, and my wife and I were honestly lost when it came to how to help him.
I’ll never forget the call I had with Chris. It was close to midnight, and my son had just shown up at our house out of the blue in very rough shape. Not knowing what to do, I got on Google and clicked on the first facility that popped up. After countless failed attempts at sobriety, I wasn’t very optimistic about the outcome if we were to get him into yet another rehab.
Chris was incredibly kind and patient and walked us through every step of the process. He spoke with us for close to an hour before even getting to the age-old question of payment or insurance. Unfortunately, my son wasn’t willing to go to treatment that night, but Chris and I stayed in touch over the next week.
It happened exactly like Chris said it would. With my son, the willingness to get help can be fleeting. Addiction has its peaks and valleys, and that willingness tends to come when he feels like he’s finally out of options. Sure enough, the next time my son showed up asking for help, I was able to use the conversation Chris and I had to get him on the phone with Soba and into their detox program.
I’m so grateful for Soba and for the support my wife and I received over the next few months while my son was there. I’m happy to report that he is still sober today, and our relationship with him continues to grow stronger.
Addiction took my son away from me for years, but recovery has given me back the son I always knew he was capable of becoming. He is kind, caring, and a genuinely good man. As a parent, there are really no words to describe what it feels like to see your child come back to life after watching addiction take so much from them.
To any parents reading this who are going through something similar: please don’t give up on your child. Learn how to set boundaries. Learn how to support them without enabling them. And understand that you don’t have to have all the answers yourself. We certainly didn’t.
If you’re at the point where you simply don’t know what to do anymore, call Soba. Even if your child isn’t willing to get help that day, make the call for yourself. They will listen, help you understand what you can do, and be there when the opportunity to get your child help finally comes.

This is such a warm welcoming place with amazing staff. Beth came to pick me up and helped me gather all of my belongings out of a hotel room that were scattered everywhere and made the ride there so very easy. Travis was also amazing and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, he shared his story with me, then went to target to get me some soda water that I had been craving AND a fan because I was hot. He really went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and then dropped them off while I was sleeping and never expected a thank you or anything, just out of the kindness of his heart. Rick had recognized me from church and continued to let me know there was a reason I was saved that day and kind words of encouragement the whole time I was there. These people really went out of there way to make me not only comfortable but helped encourage me at my lowest point. I will forever be thankful for them. ❤️

This place has changed to be part of the Terros Health Organization.
I was referred here by my mental health providers for counseling. I was referred after a difficult change in my life and relationships. I was mainly looking for someone to talk to as well as work on returning a focus to my needs and how to do that all over again.
Though I have only had a few sessions so far, I have been pleased with the services I have received. Being that the focus right now is strictly for me as an individual, I have met with someone that fit with my preferred requirements (female, talk therapy).
I have been told that if I need to change the focus of my therapy (couples, CBT) there is a large network with other locations included that can fit those needs.
The only thing is that I only see them every 2 weeks so I am unsure if that is due Medicaid limits or their availability. So I feel based on that if you need something more intense, this might not be the best option for you. Though in my situation, I am just glad to have someone that I can talk all this through with.

I was pissed off at the prospect of going to Rehab. Mainly because my PO made me, on the heels of me relapsing when my best friend died. Going here was my second time at a rehab center. So I felt like I had enough knowledge about myself to get back on track with my sobriety. After talking to Shana during my intake process I realized this was going to be the break from life’s stressors that I have been crying for based on my alcoholic behaviors leading up to my relapse. While it was my re-introduction to the 12 steps and my belief in God that has restored me back to sanity. It was the serene atmosphere and the tremendous staff. I loved working with my therapist Anna! Along with other licensed therapist like Steve, Barbra, Rachel and Tracy, and new intern Aimmie. I enjoyed the daily exchange with all of the BHT’s like: Ebony, Lola, Divina, Jon, Jason, Easton, Khachie, Miss Ella, Destiny, Stephanie, Rico, and the 2 young ladies with the fly shoes! Along with the young lady from Chicago. They were all very knowledgeable and welcoming to me daily. And my family on Sundays. The alumni coordinator Mark and Miss Stephanie are great ambassadors of the company and overall community built here that extends to meetings that alumni are welcome to attend after detox or treatment. All of the nurses were great, even when they were working long hours they would go out of their way to ensure our safety was maintained and prioritized. The use of a psych provider was great because I felt like my sobriety was important to everyone. There is an open door policy to file grievances with John, I never had to but I did see some people do so and Mr. John always acted swiftly. Lastly, Mr. Anthony was paramount to to the serenity and the peaceful atmosphere to ensure growth. The activities offered through yoga and pickle ball with Adrian and fitness training with Coach Carl was exactly what I needed to learn new leisure activities to do while sober outside of meetings and service work. I owe a huge thanks to God for guiding me to Canyon Vista and to canyon vista for having open doors for me. More importantly the people is what made Canyon vista a great experience. I love my new friends in sobriety and the fact that we all meet up at least on Wednesday and Saturdays at 6pm is the type of connection that lays a strong foundation for anyone struggling with addiction and how to live a new life.

They are considered a residential program that functions off-site in nature. Anasazi Foundation is an outdoor behavioral healthcare provider in Mesa, Arizona for adolescents and adults. The program combi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Initially, Anasazi felt like the miracle our family needed. The wilderness experience challenged our 16-year-old mentally, emotionally, and physically, and we saw positive changes in confidence, resilience, and self-awareness while they were in the program.
However, over time, we realized that those improvements didn't last. The program provides a highly structured wilderness environment, but it doesn't offer enough opportunities to practice those new skills in real-life situations where teens must navigate school, friends, family dynamics, technology, and everyday responsibilities.
While Anasazi may provide a valuable reset and a break from unhealthy patterns, we found that lasting change requires ongoing support and real-world application after the program ends. For our family, the wilderness experience alone was not enough to create permanent, sustainable change.

Mesa, AZ | TLC Treatment Center in Mesa, Arizona, is a licensed drug and alcohol treatment center. They are accredited by The Joint Commission and have been helping men and women recover from substance abuse since 2012. They offer individualized treatment to heal their clients from the damage addiction has done mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionall | Treatments Programs Payment Options | It's funny, I read all the negative comments about this place; "It's the worst of the worst," or "It's run by people who take your money and steal your things." There are plenty more, I'm sure. But listing every grievance would take up multiple paragraphs.
But then I think to myself, "It sounds like a bunch of ex-residents weren't happy about being told what to do and left, so they're saying anything to deter someone from getting help."
I know because I used to be a resident. I first came into contact with TLC when I was homeless and on crystal meth; I was 130 pounds and sucked up. Along with my weight I was losing my sanity, as well. I came to the Mac House in the early 2000's and they accepted me with no money, only a chance to get clean. I am grateful I did because this year I will have 20 years of sobriety, something I could have never done without the help of this place.
Ignore the negative comments. Sure, it's not a five-star resort or one of those treatment centers where they give foot massages and pampered restrictions. But it's a place to gain your sanity back, if you want it.

Mesa, AZ | Community Bridges–East Valley Addiction Recovery Center (EVARC) is a 12 step-focused drug and alcohol rehab center in Mesa, Arizona. They provide intervention services, medically supervised detox, dual diagnosis care, and inpatient, outpatient, and aftercare programming. Specialized services for young adults and persons with HIV/AIDS are availabl | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I only heard bad things about CBI but every employee at the belleview location treated me like the King I Am. I maintain the best outlook on life no matter where I go, no matter what hardships I'm facing, therefore I receive the best service possible. Your experience reflects who the type of person you are internally and your attitude towards others externally. Even if you are struggling with addiction, you are ultimately responsible for your relapses and trouble that you cause, nobody else. Take accountability for your own actions and stop blaming others if you cannot stay clean - nobody on this earth is required to change your adult diapers. Stop being lazy, and if CBI didn't help you then I guarantee it was because you had a horrible, demanding, disrespectful, impatient attitude 😉. The belleview location in Mesa has a pretty decent staff, I was in the some of the roughest circumstances a person could possibly be in and I still kept a positive outlook and remained respectful towards everyone. If you cannot stay clean then go to salvation army for 6 months because you obviously need it and you will build a foundation of sobriety that will last a lifetime if you allow it to. You are responsible for staying clean, nobody forced you to take drugs. I will agree that the recliners should be replaced with beds or couches, I didn't get the best sleep at CBI. Additionally, they need to change rule that you cannot charge your phone because people need their phones charged so when they get out they aren't stranded without communication - this isn't 1980 when you could go use a payphone or nearby business phone. There is no acceptable reasoning why somebody cannot have their phones charged while they are in detox or otherwise. Also on the "presenting issues" section of my discharge paperwork it says that i declined to meet with PSS for treatment options and that I declined to provide address information which is completely incorrect information and untrue. These are a few things that CBI needs to improve on that I experienced. Other than that, Best wishes to all.

I was nervous about switching providers. I assumed it would be complicated and that I'd end up with a lapse in my medication while everything transferred over. That is not what happened at all. The process was seamless, easy, and quick, and my meds were on my doorstep within two days.
Communication has been just as good. I can message my provider anytime with a question and I always get a prompt response, which matters a lot when you're starting something new and want to make sure you're doing it right.
I'm loving my protocol. I look and feel better at 50 than I did decades ago. If you're on the fence about switching, this was the easiest transition I could have asked for.

Now I don’t ever really write reviews for businesses. Just never really take the time to do that sort of thing. But I’m going to write this review because i feel it’s due for this place. I did detox at this place back in January and checked out afterwards getting my life together. Long story short had to come back to complete a 30 day treatment lol. Now when I came back I was all ready. I was done with the person I was and was ready for the change to take place in my life and said I’m gonna do this 30 days no problem. Now it takes a huge life event for me to cry and express any kind of emotion other than anger…but while I was doing my intake the two ladies had me bawling my eyes out! For a good reason! I was just tired. I was upset with who I’ve been and had become during my addiction. Now again…I said I was gonna be strong and make it through…I mentioned to a staff member who goes by the name “Lisa” about how I’m thinking of checking out just because and she told me “no we’re going to work together on this”!!! Well…I checked out after she left lol. As soon as I left my girlfriend and family talked to me and I spent the night in the car waiting till the next day to check back in…and it’s been over a month since I completed my 30 days there! I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they gave me to succeed at this 2nd chance in life. Sure there’s some things I can complain about but to me I needed that reality check and needed to sit on my hands and listen for a minute. Rehab is rehab. It’s not gonna be sunshine and rainbows. I came in a nervous shy person who just wanted to get my 30 days over with….and by the time I left yeah I was ready to leave and was getting antsy. But I didn’t wanna leave the new friends I made…and again I don’t ever really write reviews but there’s a few people I wanna mention who helped me be a better person and helped me succeed. First is Brian. Heyyyyyyyyyyy briannnnnnn lol. He helped me be able to contact my daughter and overall just was a cool fricken dude! Next is “magic”. Always complimenting my leadership skills for getting the kitchen cleaning dudes together and knocking it out and always sharing his life stories…and letting me be me without a CAP CARD…lmao. Medical staff helped me get sleeping meds within a few days and overall wasn’t too much of a hassle. JOE! The BHT. Dude. Your life story was so damn inspiring and helped me understand how ugly this disease can turn and seeing who you’ve become…was just absolutely amazing and so inspiring to me and everyone! ANINA! I was pretty sure I made her wanna quit in my last week…lmao just being my goofy self and being so random just trying to have a good time at rehab. And this next person I saved for last because she helped me in ways she probably still doesn’t know and I have a lot to say about this special person…Lisa…she was my peer support leader. Lisa…you made me wanna stay. You did so much for me in my recovery journey I don’t know how I can honestly thank you enough. Day one I was so nervous and thought she was the “mean New Yorker” and by the end of my stay. I was always getting anxious waiting for her to come in to work. Lisa thank you for everything you do for people like me. You are an amazing loving caring person and the world could use a few more of you! Thank you for letting me be me and helping me recover and get back to my family as a changed man. You will always be a part of my story and I’m so glad I met you. HI LISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. To everyone at unhooked recovery. Thank you so much for everything you did for me. I’ll still be back when I get my year clean to do an H&I!

great staff, great doctors. clean facility. this is just a rehab clinic, not inpatient. it's not a facility that primarily tackles mental health, it tackles addiction and provides you the resources you need to get the services you need for your mental health. they do what they intend to do and they do it well. this is the only drs office that has ever cared about me, and they're ahcccs friendly unlike a lot of drs offices. sucks that they have so many rough reviews, their current staff is excellent.

Great place to go if you want to turn your life around. Mike and other staff are very friendly and happy to work with you. I would definitely recommend Archways to anybody looking to get their life together. There are three men's houses and one women's house so they have plenty of space. I have Autism and I have never had anyone here treat me poorly, unkindly or like I’m a bother or burden, unlike other places I’ve gone to before that only seem to care about their bottom line.
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with ANY medical professional has been with Dr. Ramses. Dr. Ramses is very kind, professional, understanding and knowledgeable. He actually cares. He takes the time to listen to me, and explain the possible options and medication for my condition and treatment. I truly feel like I’m in good hands with him and so are you!

Mesa is the 110th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $58151. This is comparable to the average cost of $56789 for addiction treatment in Arizona and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Mesa vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Mesa. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Mesa that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Mesa.
Blue Cross Blue Shield is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Mesa, with 22 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. UnitedHealth Group is the 2nd most popular with 19 treatment centers accepting it followed by Aetna in 3rd accepted by 18 drug rehabs.
Mesa has the 108th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Maricopa county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Mesa or Maricopa county as a whole.
In 2023, Mesa had the 8th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 3807 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Mesa. All values are per 100,000 population.
