From what my cousin has shared about his experience at Intensive Treatment Systems, Nikki is an absolutely amazing counselor and Behavioral Health Technician. She made a huge impact on his recovery journey with her kindness, patience, and genuine care. He always spoke about how she took the time to truly listen, offering support without judgment and guiding him through some of his toughest moments.Nikki s dedication to her work is evident in the way she encourages and uplifts those she helps. Marne has been a Godsend and I honestly don't know where I would be without her and the team. I have been going through a lot I've been in pain management, I've been to rehab, I've been to prison. I know that not everyone is built the same or seen the same things or experienced the same experiences. But, the people who can just keep an open mind and not judge someone for the first thing they see or the way that someone has lived before all of this. I know I'm no better or different then anyone. I just need help and am so thankful for you guys. And we have good and bad days like everyone else. I hope for the best for any and all of these workers here. The Dr. Is cool too just explain the total truth and they will understand the situation. I know the truth isn't always easy but they will understand. Just try to remember your in a safe environment and they are there to help.

Canyon Vista was an absolute life saver for me. The staff truly cares and understands what you are going through and they take the time to listen. The program works and is available at any recovery center, which is great but in my opinion it takes much more than that. Your recovery is exactly "your recovery", not everyone's is the same. You are met with open arms and respect at a safe, nonjudgmental environment for those seeking treatment. The support given by everyone in the alumni has been more than I could have ever dreamed of and has blessed me with lifelong friends

They are considered a residential program that functions off-site in nature. Located in Mesa, Arizona, Anasazi Foundation offers mental health treatment through their outdoor behavioral health program fo | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This program is amazing. I have two daughters, both adopted and with attachment disorders. Helping kids who experienced early trauma attach when that vital experience didn t happen in infancy is so difficult. It s weird to think that the time away would have helped but it did! The staff really work with the kids, their therapist meets with them and us weekly and we send letters of encouragement and pictures each week. My eldest said that knowing she was away and doing this difficult thing while getting continual love and support through letters and pictures helped her know we d never leave. It was beautiful. We ve been together for a decade and she s so much less cautious in how she loves us. My youngest made a significant turn. She s continued to have some struggles, but her ability to reflect on them has grown significantly. And after they are done outdoors, the adults who work with both girls stay in contact. This has been huge for my youngest to help keep her on that forward moving path. I wish something this wonderful was available to all families.

I attended the Anasazi wilderness program between my junior and senior year of high school. Looking back, it was easily one of the most impactful 42 days of my life. The experience shaped me in ways I m still grateful for years later. While I ve seen recent criticism toward wilderness programs as a whole, I feel compelled to speak up for Anasazi. This organization is truly different. The care, intention, and integrity they bring into their work set them apart. It s not just about time in the wilderness it s about healing, growth, and reconnecting with yourself and others in a way that very few environments can offer.Anasazi didn t just help me get through a tough season of life it helped lay the foundation for who I am today. I ll always be thankful for the people there and the journey they guided me through. If you re considering Anasazi for yourself or a loved one, know this: it s one of the best if not the best programs of its kind. I will forever hold space for the Anasazi Program.

My son entered the program in October 2024. He completed it and emerged an entirely different person. There is something about being in the wilderness and not being tethered to a device that compels growth and healing and allows reconciliation of their differences with the Creator. This was not an easy decision but one that I am glad to have made. While my young walker was on the trail our family also had work to do. The focus is on the healing and teaching of the family. If needed, I would do it again. I asked my son if he would do it again and his response was yes because there is still more for me to learn. Anasazi provides the young walkers with life tools; but also teaches the young walkers how to use the new tools. The staff was upfront and honest in their dealings with my wife and I.

I went there on Thanksgiving week of 1998 for 6 months. It was chaotic, management didn't know how to care for the houses they had at the time when I was there. They had nine houses and ready to open another house. Administration pick me & two other people to open. The other two was racist. One was white the other one was black. The black guy was scared so he did everything they ask. I ask management to move me out of the house. They said no, So I left. This program is to saving life. They are accredited by The Joint Commission and have been helping men and women recover from substance abuse since 2012. They offer individualized treatment to heal their clients from the damage addiction has done mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionall | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Hmmmm where to even start....I was broken, lost, tired and willing to try anything to change... I was mentality, physically and spiritually exhausted. I was facing almost a decade in prison, everything I have ever loved or cared about had been stripped from me because of denial and the ability to be honest with myself. Honestly I was at a point before I got to TLC that death was the only option to relieve me of my trauma and pain I lived with on a daily basis. Drugs and alcohol was the remedy and I was ok with death being the symptom. I hated myself and blamed myself as I continued to live in the past....I didnt think I deserved recovery. That I could experience any form of positive change. I've never completed anything in my life other then a gram baggie or bottle of liquor. That's not the case anymore. I completed my program at the outer house and graduated the IOP program offered here. I took one small of leap of faith and took someone elses advice because obviously mine wasn't working. Started hitting meetings working with a sponsor and giving my will to my higher power. Learned that it's ok to not be okay, that my actions effect everyone around me, how to cope with my feelings, that I can't make permanent decisions based on temporary emotions. Through all this the blessings I've received are unimaginable. My children get to see there father sober, I'm not going to prison, I've been given the opportunity to make six figures a year, my sanity has been restored, I can look in the mirror and smile. Proud of myself and eternally grateful that god allowed me the chance to cross paths with TLC. TLC has saved my life and gave 3 beautiful children there father back. Thank you so much. Special thanks to Karen, Chris, GG and everyone else at MAC HOUSE. Kevin and Nate from Dana. TLC MAFIA

This is a long over due review, and after reading some of the other responses I am very surprised by some of these men and their perspective of life and what is expected. My story with TLC started back in 1992 when I was 12 years old, they took my father in off the streets and helped him get sober. He had been in and out of facilities since I met my father when he was released from prison when I was 7. I didnt think this was going to be anything different, 29 years later i can say I was wrong and gladfully say i was as wrong about this as i have been about alot of things in life. TLC gave me a friend and more importantly my father. I would never know my dad without them, my kids wouldnt know their grandfather and so on. Its not just about that person but the line of people that are affected and their lives. I could go on all day about what this company had done for me and my family but i wont bore you, is it for everyone no, not every will find sobriety in the same place but its a good place to start that might lead to the place that will give you your father or friend back. Thank you again for everything TLC

OMG! The review process for rehab centers should be banned! Most of us addicts are isolated and we like to self destruct and blame others. I call this denial, delusion and refusing to take control of my recovery. Ive been there 3 times in 55 years. Community Bridges is a first step in recovery and it is not some medical place that is expected to show fake empathy and love and provide a much needed vacation. Think of it has a place of freedom that is not brutal like jail where you are going to head to sooner or later. I speak from experience and i have nothing but 100% postive feedback for Community Bridges. If your life is unmanageable because of your addictions and/or mental disorders and your bank account is at 0 and you have no insurance then try and find gratitude and acceptance because Community Bridges saved my life from longer term Jail time and death.

Great place to go if you want to turn your life around. Mike and other staff are very friendly and happy to work with you. I would definitely recommend Archways to anybody looking to get their life together. There are three men's houses and one women's house so they have plenty of space. The houses are all very nice and spacious. Also they are certified by the Arizona Recovery Housing Association, so it really is a solid place. Overall, it's a great place with great staff and I had a great experience.

Archways sober living is an amazing place to get sober. Mike gave me a chance when no one else would. I was given strong direction and got involved with a 12 step program. I wouldn't have the life I do today without Archways. I'll always be grateful to Mike and the rest of the staff!

Their outpatient services will support you during your recovery process. The comprehensive substance use treatment services provided by Terros Health – Stapley Health Center & | Treatments Programs Payment Options | They are very helpful and love attending groups here. I don t understand the negative reviews. In all reality people who have negative to say are not taking their own self accountable for why they are needing help in the first place. Accept help and get some guidance and put your ego aside and don t forget the high amount of volume in patients they get. I thank terros for the help they given me and continue to do so.

I have been a patient with Terros for 12 years. I currently see Danielle who has assisted me in managing my mental health and more. I have been here for 12 years because of the amazing understanding of the staff. So many people leave bad reviews because they don't want to take accountable or they think they are the only patients that need care. If you make your appointments and show up on time and follow your treatment or care plan things will be great. I've only made great progress and have been well maintained medication wise for 3 years with minimal adjustments needing to be done because of how well Danielle knows me and she is always thinking outside the box and truly listens to my needs and always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm good before leaving my appointments!!! Thank you Danielle for giving me my life back!!!

Community Bridges is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Mesa, Arizo | Treatments Programs Payment Options | So my details of my situation are bizarre. I was petitioned by the Phoenix Police after doing weird things in psychosis. I got there on a Thursday and left on a Tuesday. I don't really have any complaints about the staff. Most of them were kind and helpful. The nurses and the Dr's were an entirely different story.

My husband was sent here by Banner desert and it can be scary, confusing, and frustrating to navigate this process and in general is a very slow moving process. Loved ones might be left in the dark about what is happening for an extended period of time (72 hours) and the reason is not because the facility is ignoring your calls or concerns but that they are by law, mandated to follow very specific protocols and are limited by state regulations and HIPPA in regards to what they can and cannot tell you about your loved one.No one at this facility is ignoring calls and hiding people's loved ones in over crowded, unsanitary conditions or anything else even remotely like what some of the horror stories on this review say.Having said that, any facility housing people against their will via court orders due to serious mental health concerns is not going to be a walk in the park.My experience is that everyone there I spoke to was as kind and compassionate as they could be regarding my husbands circumstances but are still bound by laws and regulations so even though they couldn't tell me anything specific about my husband they very clearly, kindly and patiently talked to me about the process and what happens next.My understanding is that this facility is a transition (and this could vary on a case by case basis, but this is just in general) between the hospital and whatever the doctors recommend to the court happens next. That is why it's called a 72 hour "hold" it's not meant to be permanent but rather just a place for them to be "held" while they are stabilized without being a risk to themselves or others. Some other comments mentioned forbidden to shower, lack of access to things ect. That's not because they are abusing or refusing the basic needs of your loved one, it's a state mandated safety protocol. Wherever they are sent after they will be allowed to shower they will have access to a phone to call you ect. Also, people in the reviews accused staff of being horrible and abusive to them, they absolutely are not. They are so nice and kind and patient with them. I had to remind myself when reading some of these reviews, these are the opinions of people who (while there) were delusional and are angry because they don't think they need to be there but were mandated by court to be. Obviously its a poor experience, no one wants to be in this situation. This is not the fault of the facility, or the staff, it is not a 5 star resort. It's just a safe place for your loved one to be stabilized and evaluated short term.My best advice to anyone reading this is try to remain calm, don't panic yourself, don't feel guilty, in most cases your decisions, though hard to make, were necessary. Be mindful that this is a slow process and even though it is not the answer we want to hear, really all there is to do is try and be patient and just wait the 72 hours for your loved one to be evaluated and you will get an update then from someone then.Calling and leaving multiple messages and yelling at the staff and making false reviews against the facility is not helpful to anyone nor is it going to make 72 hours pass faster or the HIPPA laws or regulations change. They have a stressful and thankless job and do the best they can to help without breaking any laws.I personally very much appreciated them and their compassion and really was put at ease a little bit just by their kind words and explaining the process to me because even if I didn't hear what I wanted to hear, or any specific updates, I was given enough information to understand the process and know my husband will get the treatment he needs so he can get well and come home. I am very grateful to this facility and I wanted to just share that so there is an accurate review for anyone else in my situation.

Mesa is the 110th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $58151. This is comparable to the average cost of $56789 for addiction treatment in Arizona and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Mesa vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Mesa. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Mesa that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Mesa.
Blue Cross Blue Shield is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Mesa, with 22 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. UnitedHealth Group is the 2nd most popular with 19 treatment centers accepting it followed by Aetna in 3rd accepted by 18 drug rehabs.
Mesa has the 108th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Maricopa county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Mesa or Maricopa county as a whole.
In 2023, Mesa had the 8th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 3807 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Mesa. All values are per 100,000 population.
