My experience is on Floor 2, L&D, NICU nurses, Post Partum. Fantastic nurses from all 3. RN ratios are good, appropriate. I was writing the ONE appreciation card on day 4, probably 10 names. Probably can’t remember them all.. L&D, “fun” & caring… Dominque, Charolette, Hailey (newer, but excellent bedside manner, gonna be great), Ilyana… NICU, don’t know a single name, but these people mean business. I have zero doubt these ninjas would resuscitate a serious situation with knowledge, experience, focus, and speed. They might be wild off the clock, but they’re not playing around in the moment. Post-partum, I know I’ll forget people, but Madi & Melissa, Tina (Tech/CNA, spelling?). Very patient, happy to educate. Fun. Madi was so laid back, yet happy to help which we needed after a few days in the hospital. Melissa, fun, if she didn’t have the solution, which she usually did, she knew who to get. The departments are very different, have different kinds of nurses. L&D has some new nurses, guessing they either had some turn over or are preparing for new tower/wing. My one slightly negative comment is coming from a Nurse Preceptor myself, to the nurse Preceptors in L&D, more of a reminder. The greatest nurse who ever lived was once new. Do not eat your own. Be kind in your tone, patient when they’re wrong, and encourage them openly. Overall, great experience. Absolutely do not regret choosing BTMC for our delivery over Abrazo Arrowhead. You can feel when someone has the energy that youre just going to click with and she didnt disappoint. She was patient, understanding, very helpful, informative, she really was a one man show. She pratically did it all by herself. My client was hoping that she could have her baby before her shift was over because she can also pick up on her amazing energy. Front desk staff was so kind, I was greeted by a young girl, she was new but you could tell she's in the right field. Very kind and compassionate and made me feel welcome! Candy in adult intake is a treasure. She made sure I felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire appointment. Intakes for establishing care can be very lengthy and repetitive, but she kept the energy bright and bubbly the entire time. She played my favorite music to help make me feel comfortable and placed no judgment when I opened up about my issues. We laughed, and she encouraged me multiple times throughout my appointment. They were able to explain any questions or concerns, as well as provide me plenty of resources should I need them. I didn't have any issues getting in their books either!!! This place is clean, accepting, and welcoming. I'm very excited to continue my care here to assist with my recovery! I'll never for get the first time. I was trying to Dilute my urine So I had drinking about 15 or 16 water bottles not knowing that water is a natural laxative and when I went into task they told me that I was not allowed to poop in there . And considering the all of my poop was watery and chunky I found myself in quite a pickle. John was watching the window that day-and he looked at me and he said don't do it. And I said I can't hold it. And John said don't do it. And I said then I'm gonna s* all-over myself. And John said don't f** do it . So I tried to make it to the trash can and John was yelling know the whole-time. So I ended up s***** on the floor in the trash can and myself .But I will say that the staff was very helpful they cleaned-up the mess right away-and John told me to never come-back there ever again .And we have been friends ever since .Looking back on it now I feel like me and John would never guess we'd still be here 10 or 11 years later .Me and John are like peas and carrots .Sincerely dooky . I had been to 2 places before & unfortunately neither one helped in the long run. I was literally on the verge of destroying my entire life with an opioid addiction & don’t even remember the days before detox or the first few days in detox, it was that bad. So while I was in detox, I was on the verge of hopelessness sitting in regret & overwhelmed by past trauma when someone came to me and said, your only option at this point is Soberman’s. I had never heard of them before, but at this point I’m willing to try anything so, let’s get it going as soon as I leave detox. All I can say is this place is magical! From the first night until the last I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. For the first time in my life everything made sense & I felt safe because of Soberman’s way of doing things. The labyrinth has an energy like I’ve never felt before, it’s like everyone who had been there before left a little part of themselves to help those to come. The staff all have stories of their own & are some of the most beautiful human beings I’ve had the pleasure to be around. The Alumni are great & very supportive! I was fortunate enough while I was there to do 2 Alumni dinners, so I was able to meet a lot of them during the dinner. I’ve also had the pleasure of going to one dinner since I’ve been out which was fun. The Alumni are very supportive & always available, which is something I’ve never had before. A group you can always call on & they also have a weekly zoom call to check in too. Sobermans helped guide me to my recipe for success & I will forever be grateful!
