About Monument Recovery

Monument Recovery is a mental health and addiction treatment facility that can be found in northern Mesa, Arizona. They offer a comprehensive set of addiction treatment services, outpatient mental health services and a warm environment in which there’s a sense of connection and support.

Offering Inpatient and Outpatient Rehab

One of their core beliefs is that each individual needs a personalized approach in order to have the best chances at success. For this reason, they offer a residential treatment program that comprises a vast array of therapies, treatments and activities, all of which can be adjusted to speak to your unique situation.

These include evidence based approaches, holistic activities like yoga and fitness classes and practical vocational and life skills development. They also love allowing the local recovery community to support each other and often have alumni join to share wisdom from a uniquely empathic point of view.

Once you’ve completed the residential program or have a different set of needs, you may benefit from one of their outpatient programs. They offer partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs and aftercare support.

Care for Complex Needs

They can focus on mental health issues if needed, ideal for individuals whose struggles with substances are tied to other diagnoses or difficulties. They also accommodate individuals with complex schedules or living arrangements through their virtual outpatient program.

If you’re hurting and don’t know where to turn, Monument is the place where healing finally starts to feel possible. I can honestly say Monument is one of the most equipped, compassionate, and genuine programs I’ve ever been part of. It isn’t just a facility… it’s a family who truly cares about helping individuals change their lives and regain freedom. Leadership shows up every day with integrity, empathy, and a sincere commitment to be of service. Every department works together to support each client’s healing. Admissions meets clients and families with compassion and zero judgment. The clinical team helps clients process trauma, learn powerful coping skills, and rebuild confidence and purpose. The operations team provides safety, stability, and consistent day-to-day support. Together, they create an environment where real healing can happen. During my time at Monument, I watched countless individuals transform their lives and rebuild relationships they thought were lost forever. Clients aren’t just a number… they are seen, heard, valued, and supported. Staff is educated and informed about substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders, and they know how to guide clients through real, lasting change. One thing that always stood out to me was how many clients were so positively impacted that they chose to return as staff. That alone says a lot. Monument doesn’t just help people heal… it helps them grow into leaders, mentors, and individuals who believe in their future again. With nothing but love, thank you to the team at Monument for everything. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity I had to learn, grow, and be part of something so meaningful.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Intensive inpatient programs (IOP) offer high-level support for clients in early recovery, those exiting detox or inpatient rehabs, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically includes rigorous individual, group, and family counseling. Evidence-based complementary therapies, such as acupuncture and massage, are widely available. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) may be provided. Clients in IOP receive a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week but may engage in up to 20 treatment hours weekly.

Many clients who enroll in an outpatient rehab program are exiting intensive inpatient care and no longer require such high-level clinical supervision. Outpatient programs typically follow a step-down structure, with treatment frequency and intensity decreasing as clients progress in their recovery journey. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care are the most time-intensive and are designed primarily for clients who have just left inpatient treatment or who are at an elevated risk of relapse.

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers a short-term alternative to inpatient treatment or a step-down option after a residential program. With PHP treatment, you'll receive 6 to 8 hours of daily support, up to 5 days a week. The duration of a partial hospitalization program can vary with the average length being 90 days. While commuting is necessary, some programs also offer telehealth options. PHP treatment is often covered by insurance and typically offers medication management, relapse prevention techniques, and behavioral therapy.

Treatments

Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.

Alcohol use disorder (AUD), also referred to as alcoholism and alcohol addiction, is a chronic condition that involves craving alcohol and an inability to control drinking. A person with AUD must drink greater and greater amounts of alcohol to achieve the same effects and experiences withdrawal symptoms if they stop drinking alcohol. Several evidence-based methods are available to treat AUD through alcohol rehab in Arizona. This treatment can occur on an outpatient or inpatient basis.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Monument Recovery truly saved my life. When I came in, I was struggling and didn't know if recovery was possible for me. From day one, the staff and therapists treated me with compassion, respect, and genuine care. What sets Monument apart is that they don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. They take the time to get to know each person as an individual and create a treatment plan that fits their specific needs. Their therapists are incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about what they do. They helped me understand myself, work through difficult challenges, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. The entire team genuinely cares about their patients and goes above and beyond to support them every step of the way. I never felt like just another client—I felt seen, heard, and valued. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Monument Recovery, I wouldn't be here today. I am forever grateful for the hope, healing, and second chance they gave me. If you or a loved one is struggling, I highly recommend Monument Recovery. They change lives.

I'm not speaking for my experience as an impatient.I'm speaking as experience from my husband being there. Last year I took my husband to the hospital. He died three times had emergency dialysis. And finally realized that he needed help. His daughter and me found monument recovery, and I got my husband back next month. He will have one year sober from alcohol. He is a completely different person, and I just I can't express how grateful I am for you guys. He speaks nothing but great things about the staff. The people who's with the environment. When I hear people wanting to get help, I always recommend you guys, and I always will. Thank you guys so much.

Response from the owner
Thank you so much for sharing this — it genuinely moved our team to read it. What your husband accomplished is his victory, and the love and support you and his daughter gave him were a huge part of it.

Walking alongside someone through recovery takes its own kind of strength, and you had it.

Congratulations to him on a year sober. That's a milestone worth celebrating, and we're honored we got to be part of his story. Please tell him the staff says hello and we're proud of him.

Thank you for trusting us, and for recommending us to others who need help. It means more than you know.

Hi, I’m Dalanie Bond and I wanted to say Monument was my worst Rehab experience ever. I would recommend going to Unhooked recovery. If you don’t wanna feel like you’re alone, they kick people out constantly. They will not give you the meds you need at times and are very quick to brush you off take it upon yourself to make the right choice. Thank you. 😢 they insist on leaving and giving them reviews since the day I got there quite forced…
