Its all ran by the same people so this review is for both offices. Western Judicial assisted me in a matter that happened a long time ago. The the entire staff is extremely diligent when it comes to delivering results. The curriculum is excellent and extremely beneficial. I had Kris as my instructor. Fantastic teacher who cares about the lives and wellbeing of others. If you go in this with an open mind and you’re willing to listen, you’ll leave a better person. Since my daughter was released from Quail run, she has yet to see a counselor which we have been asking for now for four weeks. Why? Does she need to try and hurt herself again before someone cares? First apt the office has no record of an actual apt, second apt we saw an intake specialist who was quitting a week later, third apt was for a Dr we never asked to see for medications when we clearly stated to the other lady we wanted to try counseling first. Now it's been two full weeks and still have nobody assigned to our case. Complete joke. If I don't hear back from them this week, we will go someplace else and drop this review even lower. Update: Since we have been attending and seeing a counselor named Jennifer, things have been going much smoother and working out well. Sobermans truly saved my life! I had been to 2 places before & unfortunately neither one helped in the long run. I was literally on the verge of destroying my entire life with an opioid addiction & don’t even remember the days before detox or the first few days in detox, it was that bad. So while I was in detox, I was on the verge of hopelessness sitting in regret & overwhelmed by past trauma when someone came to me and said, your only option at this point is Soberman’s. I had never heard of them before, but at this point I’m willing to try anything so, let’s get it going as soon as I leave detox. All I can say is this place is magical! From the first night until the last I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. For the first time in my life everything made sense & I felt safe because of Soberman’s way of doing things. The labyrinth has an energy like I’ve never felt before, it’s like everyone who had been there before left a little part of themselves to help those to come. The staff all have stories of their own & are some of the most beautiful human beings I’ve had the pleasure to be around. The Alumni are great & very supportive! I was fortunate enough while I was there to do 2 Alumni dinners, so I was able to meet a lot of them during the dinner. I’ve also had the pleasure of going to one dinner since I’ve been out which was fun. The Alumni are very supportive & always available, which is something I’ve never had before. A group you can always call on & they also have a weekly zoom call to check in too. Sobermans helped guide me to my recipe for success & I will forever be grateful! I’ve been Sober for 8 months now & have no desire to use, but if I do I now have the skills to deal with it in a healthy way. Thank You to everyone at Sobermans! I wish this was my first, I’d likely have found the healing and comfort I was looking for years ago. I would absolutely recommend going through the Providence program to anyone who is looking for a change in the way they view themselves, the world, or the substances they can’t seem to get away from. The staff are genuinely great people - they’re funny, relatable, kind, they care, and they’re just real. The therapists are all very different from one another which helps make the entire experience really feel like it’s for me. They all have different personalities and communication styles, but the exact same high level of knowledge, experience, and professionalism. I’ve met a lot of truly incredible human beings who were also patients who I see are also in what looks like lasting and meaningful recovery (this is coming from someone who’s been to countless treatment centers and has seen people fall off as soon as they leave.) I spent about 100 days with Scottsdale Providence and was dealing with a lot of legal issues, FMLA and disability needs. Knowledgeable, qualified staff with continuous training helped me every step of the way. I was educated in mental health and my addiction and provided every tool necessary to continue a fulfilling, sober life. The connections Scottsdale Providence provides to ensure every part of the client is served was amazing. From seeing a medical doctor, a psych nurse, yoga studio, resources for continuum of care once treatment has concluded all assisted me in my recovery. She is the ultimate mother hen, tediously and tirelessly devoted to overall well-being of all who enter the home. Patsy is the resident chef and an absolute angel of a person. Not only did she provide the residents with the best meal plan, catering to the needs of everyone, she professionally and excellently prepared and configured every meal. She wasn't just the chef, she was the glue to bring everyone together. Having her around during the day offered a safe space to communicate, to show care, and bring love, light, and kindness to the home. She will give it to you straight with a smile and then drag your ass to the gym when you’re ready. The nurses, Layla and Vicki, were so wonderful.
