Just want to give a shout out to Verhelst House! This morning I had two men and a truck move a clawfoot tub, a wood vanity with a marble top, and an antique cement birdbath from three different locations in Bisbee to their new home in Warren. Every item was crazy heavy. Took them 1 hour and cost me $62. Well, it cost me $82 because I tipped them for the great service, cheerful attitude, and competent/careful handling of my treasures. Thank you Sammy and Austin!!! You guys are great!

I love my case manager! The people at CHA are doing great, problem is they are understaffed that may be the reason things seem to take awhile. The case managers are very, very busy. If you need to talk with someone immediately call the hope line or the crisis line they are always there for CHA patients. Plus their services are pretty much free.

I want to thank my counselor at st Mary's , Brandon I started seeing Brandon sin late Jan 2023 I learned a lot about my self how to handle everyday problems stress and anger management, Brandon always one on one devoted all I needed Brandon is exalant counselor he the extra time to make sure when I left class he want me feel stress free with a better understanding about what bothered me that day, I learned so I could on but the thing am so grateful to him he made me see myself for who I man because I had a very low self esteam he showed me am not only one with problem and for me to keep everything locked up om my chest, he gave me my Confidence back, if noticed I had bad day he would call on weekends to check up on me, I just want to thank you and couldn't have done without Brandon, made a friend for life

This was my first rehab experience. I don't have anything to compare it to, but from day one, the staff went out of there way to see that my needs were met. I entered this facility voluntarily due to anxiety and depression which I now know is due to cptsd, although they did not diagnose this here. This is not a place for trauma survivors, they will traumatize you. I disclosed wanting to leave privately to my therapist, later a security guard confronted me about this. A serious violation of privacy. I felt unsafe and eventually got out by protesting to other patients and family. No surprise that patients are driven to suicide here. They behave like a cult. This was 5 years ago. I completed treatment at a kinder facility.

The people who are fortunate enough to seek treatment there are sure to have their lives changed for the better forever! I spent four weeks, from August 20-September 19 2025 at The Haven. I was suffering from a substance abuse addiction as well as mental health issues due to the addiction. I have never been in rehab before and feel extremely lucky that I found The Haven for this experience. From the moment I arrived I felt taken care of. The behavioral health techs Marcus and Felicia helped me during the admission process and made a scary situation comfortable. My therapist, Ariana met with me each week and whenever I had panic moments she always came to find me and help me through those tough moments with compassion. My caseworker, Diana, navigated me through my fmla and disability paperwork with ease, and always listened when I needed a friendly ear. The group facilitator’s, Marquis, Ace, Brittany and Diana are all compassionate teachers and listeners. I learned so much from all of them. I can’t say enough about the fantastic food or the cleanliness of the facility. Everything down to the laundry was taken care of so I could focus solely on my recovery. Navigating that first uncomfortable week was made so much easier by the wonderful, caring staff at The Haven.

This facility and The Haven Foundation has always been a stepping stone for me in kicking off my sobriety. The staff really care about you and truly want the best for you. One person in specific that stood out to me was Angel the alumni coordinator!
What makes him truly special is that the support doesn’t end when treatment does. He stays in touch, checks in, and follows you through every step of your recovery journey. Whether it’s a tough moment or a big milestone, he’s always the first one to reach out, cheer you on, or help guide you back on track.
His commitment to the alumni community is unmatched. You can feel that he cares , not just during your time in treatment, but long after you leave. Having someone like him in your corner makes all the difference.
If every treatment center had an alumni coordinator like him, recovery would feel a lot less lonely. I’m truly grateful for everything he does.

My daughter was there for 90 days. I visited her, I loved the atmosphere, so peaceful, and they helped my daughter a lot. The staff was outstanding, everyone was so pleasant. I have heard a lot of people say this is a cult because of the reciting, well I guess catholisism is a cult because of standing and sitting and repeating after the priest. What I love the most (can't believe no one's mentioned it) is the multiple kinds of methadone that they offer. You choose the form! From liquid, to 10mg tablets. It's great. I personally am on 10mg tablets at 200mg. It's great and works way better for me than the liquid did! Thanks BAC!
