Just want to give a shout out to Verhelst House! This morning I had two men and a truck move a clawfoot tub, a wood vanity with a marble top, and an antique cement birdbath from three different locations in Bisbee to their new home in Warren. Every item was crazy heavy. Took them 1 hour and cost me $62. Well, it cost me $82 because I tipped them for the great service, cheerful attitude, and competent/careful handling of my treasures. Thank you Sammy and Austin!!! You guys are great! I have hired Verhelst House a few times over the years, and I am always impressed by the value and how good the crew is.

I love my case manager! The people at CHA are doing great, problem is they are understaffed that may be the reason things seem to take awhile. The case managers are very, very busy. If you need to talk with someone immediately call the hope line or the crisis line they are always there for CHA patients. Plus their services are pretty much free.

I've had the very fortunate ability to go to 4 treatment centers over the past 2 decades and Sabino is by far the best and my favorite for every reason. The staff is top notch (EVERYONE), the food is freshly cooked and amazing with the freedom to have snacks and drinks 24hrs, the living quarters are private or shares with only one other person and so cozy, there's modules for everyone and the patient gets to choose weekly what they're gonna be doing that week, there's outings, phone and electronic use, pool time.... I could go on and on and on. Not one thing I can find issues with at all. I'm truly grateful to this center and everyone I met while there.

Dear Friends at The Arc, I am writing this letter to express my deepest and sincerest gratitude for the life you have given back to me. When I was facing a potential prison sentence of 16.5 years, your organization stepped in. Your team’s tireless advocacy and commitment to my case were instrumental, and I will never forget your work in the courtroom. Because of your efforts, I was able to walk away with a sentence of five years probation. This outcome was nothing short of a miracle for me. Today, my life is full of promises and great gifts. I wake up every day with a profound sense of hope and opportunity that I would not have without your intervention. The Arc is more than just an organization; it is a place of love, care, and true consideration for those who are most in need. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my life back. Sincerely, Joaquin

I highly recommend this place for anyone struggling with mental health or addiction. I can give no higher commendation: This place quiet literally saved my life. They confirmed a bed for me, drove 2 HOURS to pick up me up and make sure I was safe. The nurses, case workers, BHTs, group leaders, therapists, all staff really, made sure that even at my lowest i was looked after, provided for, and as informed on my care as possible. If there was any mistakes, they amended them. Fellow patients were determined and kind. This place gave me the confidence, the tools, and the foundations I need to live my life with purpose. The food is also the best. If you're looking for a place to recover, give them a call. There is help. You are not alone.

My experience at the Haven was great. It takes a village to get you well and everyone from the medical staff, BHT's, cooks, case managers, therapists, group facilitators and cleaning crew did a wonderful job. Detoxing is hard and the caring and kind staff at the Haven make it more bearable. Everything is taken care of for you so all you have to do is focus on yourself and getting well. Meeting new people who suffer the same kind of problem also makes it a less difficult journey. I can't say enough about the people at the Haven. They are there to help and support you all the way. First off, I would like to recognize the young woman who SAVED my son’s life before he even made it to the hospital. Her name is Lily and she is a tech on 4P. She found my deceased son who had gotten hit by a car and was lying in the middle of a busy street on her way to work one morning. Without thinking twice, she pulled over and started CPR and continued to do so until fire department showed up. To a mother, having someone save your child’s life is everything and I couldn’t be more grateful. Lucky for me, I had the pleasure of meeting this young lady when my son was transferred to the floor she works on after he was stable enough to leave ICU. I broke down in tears as I hugged her and thanked her for saving him and she broke down in tears and told me “It doesn’t matter if he’s a criminal or a drug addict, this is still someone’s loved one and I put all of my effort and heart into saving his life because if he was my son, I would want someone to do the same.” And it touched me and she is someone I will never forget. To Lily on 4P, you deserve so much credit for this and I hope you get recognized for your kind heart and for turning around that morning and saving my son’s life. If it wasn’t for you he probably wouldn’t be here. I would also like to thank Tony, the nurse on 4P who was nothing but compassionate and kind to my son during his recovery. These two rock, even when they were busy, they still made time for us and showed us so much love.

My son left our home in Feb, 2020, and flew from NJ to CA to attend a residential treatment facility. He was struggling with substance abuse (addicted to marijuana), depression, anxiety, and some suicide ideation. He was 17 years old. After a few weeks at the residential treatment facility, it was recommended that he attend a longer, therapeutic boarding school because returning home to the same environment was not going to work! After a lot of research on my own, talking to various programs, and parents of kids who were at various programs, I spoke to Patrick Barrasso from In Balance Ranch Academy. He convinced my husband and I that this was the place for our son. So shortly thereafter, our son was transported to the ranch. Although it was very hard at first....in terms of a new location, climate, school, people, program, etc. our son slowly began to adjust and grow. He worked with an incredible therapist weekly doing individual, family and group sessions. He also worked with other therapists in groups and participated in equine therapy (our son told us he hated horses when he first arrived......and by about 3 months in, he begged us for extra equine therapy sessions!). The school program helped our son stay current with his classes, he was able to work out daily, play basketball, go on outings, trips, attend meetings, and make lifelong friends. But most importantly, our son learned to accept himself again, his self confidence reappeared, and he started to rebuild his life. He has carried the tools he learned at In Balance with him and is currently waiting to hear back from colleges to attend in the fall. He still talks to his therapist from In Balance weekly, speaks/texts his friends from the ranch everyday, and wants to go back to work at the ranch this Summer. I can not speak highly about the staff at In Balance, the Barrasso family and their commitment to excellence, and the education/support our family received while our son's life was saved.

I’ve had an excellent experience with Dessert Rose Community Partners. I was searching for a provider who would help me medicate my ADHD and some other problems. My call was answered right away, and I was offered a same day appointment for intake. I was unable to accept that appointment but they got me in a week later. After my intake appointment it was only a one week wait to see their psychiatrist Pam. Pam is a very kind and understanding woman who took my concerns seriously and prescribed me the medication I requested. Desert Rose shares a lobby with Genova Pharmacy and through Genova Pharmacy I was able to walk away with my medication the same day. Yes, there is a wait list to get Therapy with them but that is expected no matter where you call for therapy services. And on top of all the great services they offer, they accept AHCCCS health care. A wonderful company.

I came to Community Partners a year and a half ago. When I arrived, I had so many issues that I can't even put myself in that frame of mind anymore. I can't even remember having that thought process! However, my therapist, Kiko, has helped me through SO MUCH! I can't imagine what my life would've turned out like if I hadn't come here for help. This place makes me feel truly cared for. Dee and Jan, who work at the front desks of these offices, are incredibly kind and accommodating, Pam does everything to ensure I receive a balanced medical treatment, Dawn has helped me through multiple crisises as my case manager, and Kiko has listened to me while helping me sort out my thoughts every step of the way! This place does wonders!

I've had a few case workers disappear and pass the baton, and the lady managing my psychiatric meds is a bit curt, but getting in to see someone has been consistently successful and prompt.
