Although it isn't the best area and the crowd around there isn't the best to be around. But the providers and all the staff are wonderful. Had an issue with my pharmacy not filling my suboxone cuz my insurance only covers the generic. My provider wrote it for the name brand. Was OUT of meds and called and my provider was off that day. Explained the situation abd within two hours, a different provider submitted it the way I needed and fixed the issue. David has a way of making classes fun, relatable, and educational all at the same time. He creates a safe environment where I’ve never once felt judged. Knowing he’s walked a similar path makes it easier to open up and trust the process because I know he genuinely understands. I’ve learned so much about myself, addiction, and recovery, and I leave each class with something valuable to think about. The staff was surprisingly better than what you'd think. You can tell who's who by the overall interactions with the surprises they get on a daily basis. I've witnessed patience, compassion, and an overall well-being of basic humanity. I'm glad to have met everyone I did meet, patients and staff. I probably could have stayed longer but I actually wanted to start living even though I didn't realize I already was. I owe them an apology for my impatience and some misunderstandings. The the entire staff is extremely diligent when it comes to delivering results. The curriculum is excellent and extremely beneficial. I had Kris as my instructor. Fantastic teacher who cares about the lives and wellbeing of others. If you go in this with an open mind and you’re willing to listen, you’ll leave a better person. Sobermans truly saved my life! I had been to 2 places before & unfortunately neither one helped in the long run. I was literally on the verge of destroying my entire life with an opioid addiction & don’t even remember the days before detox or the first few days in detox, it was that bad. So while I was in detox, I was on the verge of hopelessness sitting in regret & overwhelmed by past trauma when someone came to me and said, your only option at this point is Soberman’s. I had never heard of them before, but at this point I’m willing to try anything so, let’s get it going as soon as I leave detox. All I can say is this place is magical! From the first night until the last I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. For the first time in my life everything made sense & I felt safe because of Soberman’s way of doing things. The labyrinth has an energy like I’ve never felt before, it’s like everyone who had been there before left a little part of themselves to help those to come. The staff all have stories of their own & are some of the most beautiful human beings I’ve had the pleasure to be around. The Alumni are great & very supportive! I was fortunate enough while I was there to do 2 Alumni dinners, so I was able to meet a lot of them during the dinner.
