Honestly the reviews are not at all a reflection of the company. The staff and therapists have always been so kind and friendly. They go through absolutely everything with you and they’re extremely professional. My psychiatrist is extremely intelligent and understanding as well. It’s always so nice speaking to all of them.

I only give the 5 stars because Leona G. and Arielle E. are the best. If you are serious about helping yourself and are not trying to play out victimhood, these two are great. I do have to throw in Lucy, Lucy is great as well! I have never had an issue with the front desk peeps, are they super friendly, NO. They are not there to be your friend.

The ASAP program was absolutely life changing for us, my husband and I thought it was so beneficial. It helped us get through a really tough time and gave us tools to better navigate a situation we never dreamed we would be in. Our daughter came out of a 30 day residential treatment program into ASAP, it was exactly the accountability she needed to stay the course to becoming clean and staying clean. The therapists were really great and the tools and content taught in the program were a game changer for us. ASAP definitely enlightened us on boundaries and the ways we were enabling some of the behaviors unintentionally, we are so grateful for that. While she might never admit it helped save her life, we know it did.

Called this office on behalf of one of my patients a proud Veteran who served over 20 years in the United States Air Force. I was simply asking for a referral so he could receive help with showers two days a week. (We already cover the other days ourselves.) Instead of showing the respect and care this Veteran deserves, the VA doctor BLAKE had the audacity to accuse him of “mooching off the government.” The insult. The disrespect. The complete lack of compassion for someone who dedicated decades of his life to serving this country is absolutely unacceptable. If you value dignity, respect, and proper care for our Veterans, please stay far away from this office. No hero should ever be treated this way.

Archways management and staff has been an instrumental part of my recovery. I am extremely GRATEFUL for Mike in giving me the opportunity to move into the womens house over a year ago and maintaining my sobriety. Great place to go if you want to turn your life around. Mike and other staff are very friendly and happy to work with you. I would definitely recommend Archways to anybody looking to get their life together. There are three men's houses and one women's house so they have plenty of space. The houses are all very nice and spacious. Also they are certified by the Arizona Recovery Housing Association, so it really is a solid place. Overall, it's a great place with great staff and I had a great experience.

Despite my obstinate reluctance to participate in this type of therapy, the staff has been extremely confident and flexible in finding a way to help me. I am still surprised and very grateful for their commitment and sincerity. They really have helped in a direct and tangible fashion in a very short time. I never would have guessed that I would end up with such gratitude and respect for the people and process I have been gifted with. I offer my best wishes for all those who sacrifice so much to help and serve to foster recovery and wellness for others. Somehow, even I seem to be worth the effort from such generous folk. My inability to fathom anything that could justify the time spent with me by such wonderous people does not diminish my gratitude for the effects of the education, caring and results achieved.

I was a client at Fountain Hills Recovery at the beginning 2025, and I felt compelled to leave a review about my time there. During my stay, I received treatment for Alcohol and actively participated in all components of the residential treatment program, including group therapy, individual therapy, and psychiatric therapy. The staff was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of taking back control of your life, and their care and kindness was well above what I expected to receive. The home I stayed in was always well stocked with food of your choosing, and the meals that were provided were well balanced and hit high marks from the chef that prepared them daily for us. Besides the great accommodations in place, the treatment I received was highly beneficial and had led me to know reach a 6 month milestone of living a sober and clean life. I am thankful for my decision to choose Fountain Hills and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about making decisions that will shape their future for the better.

No parent can anticipate the experience of finding out that a loved one has an addiction, needs intervention and immediate help and hearing about this in your late 70s, never having prior family experience. For me it was an 18-day full-time commitment in education, research and self-evaluation. After making dozens of phone calls and visiting well-respected rehab centers in New York New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Arizona it boiled down to two paths. The first path was to research and visit the traditional large rehab centers that had plenty of staff and four-star reviews with a 30 day program and would handle up to 30 residents at the time. They would offer but not promote, encourage or have a program where the patient could make a commitment after 30 days to have a sober plan to follow.  This was 30 days and done.  In addition, the larger facilities spent 5 to 10 days in rehab and the balance of the 30 days was what little could be resolved through therapy. I was shocked to find out the high rate of relapses. The second option was to find smaller centers with 15 residents or less that would reinforce, promote continuing support in a sober community after their initial 30 days. I found two locations; New Jersey and one was in Arizona. Both were owned and operated by previous addicts who not only had a vested interest in keeping themselves sober but were directly involved with a small staff in a more hands-on. I wouldn’t say that it was a boot camp it was certainly not the Malibu Ritz-Carlton experience. Mark North at guiding road offers a comprehensive option balancing a small setting, small staff committed to finding out the how’s and whys of keeping each client sober. His goal is to keep them involved longer than the traditional 30 days cycle. For every month past the 30 day cycle relapse gets lower and lower. In the guiding road program being involved at the center worked out for my family member. Mark and his staff at guiding road provided sober living options continuing therapy support, and connecting the proper sponsor that is the right fit. I would highly recommend anyone reading this to contact guiding road and Mark North to find out for yourself.

As the Holiday Season is here I want to take a moment to write how grateful I am for Guiding Roads Recovery. The facility has been prays answered to many family’s that have only wanted their loved ones back under the same Christmas Tree. And free from the battles they have against addiction and alcoholism. That is exactly what will be happening this year and many more to come from the treatment clients receive when at Guiding Roads. When visiting I noticed they delivered a family orientated establishment for those who seek victory over alcohol & drug addiction. The facility was clean and well attended to making it an environment that feels like home. The message that they carry holds depth and weight and they genuinely care about the personal well being of their clients. Happy Holidays to all those who are at Guiding Roads. Thank you for all you everything you do to help others achieve sobriety!

It's funny, I read all the negative comments about this place; "It's the worst of the worst," or "It's run by people who take your money and steal your things." There are plenty more, I'm sure. But listing every grievance would take up multiple paragraphs. But then I think to myself, "It sounds like a bunch of ex-residents weren't happy about being told what to do and left, so they're saying anything to deter someone from getting help." I know because I used to be a resident. I first came into contact with TLC when I was homeless and on crystal meth; I was 130 pounds and sucked up. Along with my weight I was losing my sanity, as well. I came to the Mac House in the early 2000's and they accepted me with no money, only a chance to get clean. I am grateful I did because this year I will have 20 years of sobriety, something I could have never done without the help of this place. Ignore the negative comments. Sure, it's not a five-star resort or one of those treatment centers where they give foot massages and pampered restrictions. But it's a place to gain your sanity back, if you want it.

And considering the all of my poop was watery and chunky I found myself in quite a pickle. John was watching the window that day-and he looked at me and he said don't do it. And I said I can't hold it. And John said don't do it. And I said then I'm gonna s*** all-over myself. And John said don't f****** do it . So I tried to make it to the trash can and John was yelling know the whole-time. So I ended up s******* on the floor in the trash can and myself .But I will say that the staff was very helpful they cleaned-up the mess right away-and John told me to never come-back there ever again .And we have been friends ever since .Looking back on it now I feel like me and John would never guess we'd still be here 10 or 11 years later .Me and John are like peas and carrots .Sincerely dooky .

OMG! The review process for rehab centers should be banned! Most of us addicts are isolated and we like to self destruct and blame others. I call this denial, delusion and refusing to take control of my recovery. Ive been there 3 times in 55 years. Community Bridges is a first step in recovery and it is not some medical place that is expected to show fake empathy and love and provide a much needed vacation. Think of it has a place of freedom that is not brutal like jail where you are going to head to sooner or later. I speak from experience and i have nothing but 100% postive feedback for Community Bridges. If your life is unmanageable because of your addictions and/or mental disorders and your bank account is at 0 and you have no insurance then try and find gratitude and acceptance because Community Bridges saved my life from longer term Jail time and death.

great staff, great doctors. clean facility. this is just a rehab clinic, not inpatient. it's not a facility that primarily tackles mental health, it tackles addiction and provides you the resources you need to get the services you need for your mental health. they do what they intend to do and they do it well. this is the only drs office that has ever cared about me, and they're ahcccs friendly unlike a lot of drs offices. sucks that they have so many rough reviews, their current staff is excellent.

Healthy Futures was instrumental in my personal recovery from an eating disorder. I learned alongside other patients how eating disorders operate within group settings. I developed skills on how to cope with and heal from trauma through dialectical behavioral therapy. I also had the opportunity to relate to other people going through recovery as well. I received dietary services from Kimberly Guenther, and she was absolutely phenomenal. May she rest in peace! The somatic experiencing group by Ilene Smith was one of my favorite groups as it opened my eyes to how eating disorders are connected to trauma and how trauma becomes trapped in the body and needs to be physically released. I would say overall the staff is great, and you will have the support you need to recover as long as you are open and willing to put in the work. Healthy Futures hits the nail on the head when it comes to eating disorder recovery by providing well rounded care. Healing from an eating disorder recovery is one of the hardest things to do but worth it! It has helped me to live life more fully!

During my time at LaFrontera I have made quite a lot of progress. While the whole team has played a part in my healing, I would like to take a moment and recognize the efforts put forth by Annette Bouw. She has been my therapist and leads two groups which have been very beneficial to me, Creative Expressions and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I appreciate how Annette has been able to explain quite succinctly how various psychological and physiological factors affect my mental health. This understanding has helped me more than I can properly express. As a therapist she can be quite intuitive and insightful. While there have been moments when her methods have clashed with my sensibilities, these moments have also exposed areas to focus on in subsequent sessions. Part of my self imposed therapy, even before I stepped through LaFrontera’s doors, was to learn German via Duolingo. Though Annette does not speak that language, she does speak many, and has been able discuss the road to fluency with me. Whether or not this is part of her job description, it has helped me. Creative Expressions was one of the first groups I joined. I cannot overstate how much this group has helped me. I have aspirations of becoming an author and Creative Expressions has helped to stir up my creativity. Admittedly, I was reluctant to join DBT as I had often heard people comment that I already had great DBT skills. I am glad I joined, though. Even though I had a lot of the skills the group teaches, they are greatly improved now. I have made some friends there who have helped me on my journey, and I believe I have helped them on their journey also. Participating in two of Annette’s groups has also had a synergizing affect on my treatment. Being in group with her often reveals talking points to her or I which we can then jump right into during therapy. When originally scheduled with her, Roseanna told me she was one of the best therapists here, and I agree, that praise is well deserved. My experience with the rest of the team is praise worthy as well.

The staff at this location are wonderful. Special shout out to: Damien, Diana, Monica, Joe, Brenda, Trung, & Michelle (at least I believe the housekeeper’s name was Michelle, apologies if I misremembered that). These staff members are so hardworking and kind, I personally witnessed each of them endure straight up abuse from patients (whilst still remaining calm and respectful towards said abusive patient). I honestly view the previous negative reviews of this CBI location with a high degree of skepticism. It’s obviously not the most fun experience to submit to treatment in any addiction/mental health facility; no one enjoys losing any facet of autonomy, after all…however, outside of that, CBI is fantastic and I would heartily recommend the Van Buren location; they will help you figure everything out, even housing if necessary. Monica is especially great at placing individuals into a sober living/group home/halfway house environment.

Arizona Center for Change, located in Phoenix, Arizona, provides addiction treatment services to individuals struggling with a wide variety of addictions. They specialize in chemical addiction, sexual addiction, behavioral addiction, and marijuana addiction programs. Arizona Center for Change focuses on a clinical approach to overcoming addiction.
As a current client of the center, I cannot express to you how much I have learned in this past year hear. I’ve taken(and highly recommend)the DBT course, which was not difficult, but really gave me the tools I’ve needed to cope with emotions, problem solving, and managing my distress. Dealing with chaotic family members is SO much easier now, with a whole lot less reaction from me=no more emotionally charged interactions. If I had learned this earlier in life-I am positive that I would’ve saved myself years & years of problem relationships, chaos & self doubt. Then there’s the personal therapy & EMDR with my therapist.... Let me say that I’ve had many therapists over the last 25 yrs & never-ever have I experienced so much healing, or learned so much in just a year! It has been life changing, to say the least. I am finally making my way through the trauma, ptsd & the pain i’ve been holding in for over 40 yrs. Honestly, I don’t know where I would be,had I not been fortunate enough to receive their help. The process has been hard-at times-but really, no harder than it was not coping with it at all. I’ve cried a lot, but healthy, releasing tears.Honestly, I always leave feeling completely heard, supported & truly validated. Diane is amazing. The program she created, the work she does, helping others to help themselves is truly life changing for me. I am truly grateful & feel that this is the best way I can give thanks to the center-by giving my honest opinion/review of my own experience here so that others who are struggling with their traumatic experiences can get the supportive, compassionate help they deserve. 👍🏻 Thank you az center for change!

I visited the ER and was obvioulsy low on the priority list. That is good. That means plenty of other people were sicker than I. I would have preferred a bed to manage my pain rather than the RP setting. Everyone was awesome. I remember Diego, Morgan and the wonderful Lauren. I wasn't the sickest person in the building by far, so I understand the delays while you juggle mutliple cases. The digital assistant touched base with me with updates. I do think the RP rooms/curtained zones need a nurse call button. For me, I feel like it created additional anxiety be confined in an approx 7'x7' curtained space with a recliner. I understand the need for such a space to manage beds but listening to others playing Comedian entertainers talking dirty on their phones, or incessantly talking to someone on the phone. Kind of ramps up the stress. The lighting is also bright for everyone in that zone. I really just wanted to close my eyes and try to relax and focus on managing my pain. Thank you Banner for taking care of me. The team was awesome! I'm sure I will return again in the future.

I am currently a patient in the emergency room, and have been here for more than 8 hours, stuck in a back room with no nurse call button. When I asked where the call button was, the women who brought me to the room said “You don’t need one. I’m going to take care of you. I’ll be out in the hall, just call me if you need anything.” I said, “Call you? How?” She replied, “Oh, just yell.” ???Are you kidding me?! I finally went to sleep, but when I woke up in pain about 4 hours later, she wasn’t to be found. I finally used my cell phone to call the emergency room front desk, and some guy said he would tell my nurse. Thirty minutes later, no nurse no woman in the hall. Finally woman in the comes back, but still no nurse. It’s been an hour now Isince I called the front desk. What a terrible way to run an emergency room. Good thing “all” I need is pain medicine for my badly broken shoulder. Otherwise I could have died stuck back here.
