I have been to a few rehabs and Detox‘s only one different Detox, but The Haven Detox Center has gone above and beyond from the intake process all the way through to the BHT‘s to the janitorial staff the medical staff The meal prep kitchen, chef staff has created such a dynamic environment in under a year of their first year anniversary that has Made the people that are clients are patients full of hope, spirit morale, and just genuinely compassionate empathetic and loving towards each other naturally because of the environment that this staff has provided !!!!! And on a sidenote, I would definitely have to give a huge shout out to Marcus the Detox supervisor that guy is not only leading by example, but he’s leading from the front and that’s how you run up company enterprise any type of business transactional environment that’s the type of leadership you look for someone to willing to lead from the front and lead by example !!!

My daughter was there for 90 days. I visited her, I loved the atmosphere, so peaceful, and they helped my daughter a lot. The staff was outstanding, everyone was so pleasant. I have heard a lot of people say this is a cult because of the reciting, well I guess catholisism is a cult because of standing and sitting and repeating after the priest. I graduated the program and did the continuess program, did internship then got a job, place and car.. I worked the program,, just like any other program ITS UP TO YOU weather you succeed or not!!! I'm grateful that I was able to get closer to my higher power, graduate drug court, mend my relationship with my daughter and parents, grow in many areas and become stable ,employed and learn about myself, traditions, culture, and so much more. Its not easy but its worth it! Rose and Peter were my mentors. I still keep in touch with Peter! He was the best and showed genuine care. Ray hosted bible study and meditation...to this day I still do those soul and spirit lifting tools. Thank you Amity && mentors for being apart of my recovery!!! I am really greatful and blessed that I was able to learn and progress while at The Chalet House. I returned to treatment at Chalet after I had relapsed only a week later after completing a 90 day program. Chalet House and the staff really helped me to learn how to love myself again. I was once again lost and broken with a DCS case that was heading towards severance. One particular person really helped me to understand boundaries, take responsibility, and she taught me how to have a voice. I completed almost 90 days. Miracle workers. I can't stress this enough. Teen Challenge has proven to be a literal life saver. We had a family member who tried several other programs and none of them were successful (some were horrible disasters and did more damage than good). This program is strongly faith-based and provides the essential structure and stability for someone who is struggling or giving up. We have seen a tremendous change to our family member, and would recommend to anyone seeking help. This is a great organization to include in your tax deductible donations. ***If they come knocking on your door asking for donations, it is legitimate and necessary to keep the program operating. They're so dedicated to the work they do and they do so with compassion, kindness and a genuine desire to help the kids and families who visit them. Reading some of these reviews makes me really sad. Yes, they work with the court. And, yes, those cases are hard but please keep in mind that if the court is ordering you to services, there is a REASON and that reason very often is poorly adjusted, angry or mentally ill parent - the same people who are free to leave negative reviews.

My son left our home in Feb, 2020, and flew from NJ to CA to attend a residential treatment facility. He was struggling with substance abuse (addicted to marijuana), depression, anxiety, and some suicide ideation. He was 17 years old. After a few weeks at the residential treatment facility, it was recommended that he attend a longer, therapeutic boarding school because returning home to the same environment was not going to work! After a lot of research on my own, talking to various programs,
and parents of kids who were at various programs, I spoke to Patrick Barrasso from In Balance Ranch Academy. He convinced my husband and I that this was the place for our son. So shortly thereafter, our son was transported to the ranch. Although it was very hard at first....in terms of a new location, climate, school, people, program, etc. our son slowly began to adjust and grow. He worked with an incredible therapist weekly doing individual, family and group sessions. He also worked with other therapists in groups and participated in equine therapy (our son told us he hated horses when he first arrived......and by about 3 months in, he begged us for extra equine therapy sessions!). The school program helped our son stay current with his classes, he was able to work out daily, play basketball, go on outings, trips, attend meetings, and make lifelong friends. But most importantly, our son learned to accept himself again, his self confidence reappeared, and he started to rebuild his life. He has carried the tools he learned at In Balance with him and is currently waiting to hear back from colleges to attend in the fall. He still talks to his therapist from In Balance weekly, speaks/texts his friends from the ranch everyday, and wants to go back to work at the ranch this Summer. I can not speak highly about the staff at In Balance, the Barrasso family and their commitment to excellence, and the education/support our family received while our son's life was saved.

I was so scared asking for help and didn’t know where to go, but this place came highly recommended. The only bad thing is that the fact that I had to leave anybody looking to get help there is not a better place to go in here. the staff is absolutely incredible. I cried more just seeing how well I was treated here than even dealing with my issues. I cannot recommend this place enough if you want help come here.

I was here for a 10 day detox. Every staff member here was incredibly compassionate, and I feel that they went to great lengths to take care of their patients. I would highly recommend this place for detox. Part of me never wants to leave. All I can say is they are truly amazing people And I will miss them all.

The staff and provider here made my stay bearable and successful. Dr. Sierzenski, Samantha BHT, Derrick RN, Stephanie RN, Veronica BHT, Ingrid RN, Gabby BHT, Tanisha RN, and all of them! They were attentive, compassionate, helpful, professional, but most of all... they were kind to me when I was in a very dark place and a world of hurt. Scottsdale Providence saved my life. As a lifelong drug addict I didn’t feel that there was much hope. I thought it was going to be awkward being a bit on the older side at 48, but neither preconceived notion was true. The staff at the residential house was warm and inviting. They reassessed and modified my medications which made me feel so much better. The staff immediately formed a treatment plan taking into account my goals. The group sessions are amazing and include everything from cutting edge therapy, traditional therapy, yoga, meditation, and daily check ins. The ono on one sessions are with highly skilled and compassionate therapists who use a variety of techniques. Once leaving residential and stepping down to PHP at the treatment center the amazing care continues. The group sessions are intense and very engaging. The one on one sessions continue to be facilitated by highly skilled therapists. Many of the staff are in recovery themselves. They treat everyone equally no matter what race, sect, political views, pronouns, religion, rich, poor, old, and young. I suffered a horrific family tragedy that occurred while I was still in treatment. The SPRC staff swooped in and offered me all the help and extra therapy I needed. They modified my treatment plan to account for this change. They even helped me get my affairs in order. And now that I’m a few days from completion, they have made sure everything I need to be successful is in place. From amazing facilities to having the very best staff, this place is second to none. It isn’t just a country club, they push you to work towards your goals and keep close eye on your progress. If you want to sit in a pool and have your hand held for 90 days, this is not the place. If you are serious about getting well and ready to put on the work, SPRC is the only choice in Phoenix.

My Mom has been with Soul Surgery for the past 2 months. It's been truly amazing to witness her transformation & continued progression since joining.
What I love about Soul Surgery is that it has provided my Mom with a stable environment to live alcohol-free, receive support and training for sober living, and encourages her freedom in creating a fulfilled and joyful life.
She rides her bike every day around the city and nearby parks, chooses to meal prep her food weekly for health, enjoys fun hobbies, and is free to come and go as she pleases. She is vibrant, excited about life, and is consistently engaged in the training activities and group meetings that she attends daily.

With this facility transitioning to a hybrid sober living platform requiring the daily programming with the way it has been taught has been life changing to say the least, the opportunity my wife and I have been given to join this program I must say not only my life individually has been saved my marriage has been as well and that has not been a focus in fact my marriage saved is a most pleasant by product of my own and my wife's sobriety as individuals, while my wife and I are working this program as individuals our bond has grew in strength along with the connection we have which is growing daily, this in depth 12 step based program has taught me how to live differently in sobriety. With learning how to live differently in sobriety the freedom to come and go as we please along with the ability to work has been excellent to allow us to experience the outside world while still in a safe environment, with this being my first and only treatment that I've ever gone through it be extremely difficult to imagine any other program having the impact Soul Surgery has had on me if I was given a choice how I want to attain sobriety I would chose this place, I am forever thankful and greatful for having the opportunity for sobriety and learning how to use the tools from who I have learned them from.
