First and foremost the Arc saved my life. I went into inpatient broken and defeated. I didn’t know what to expect since this was my first treatment center. The BHT,s were kind and caring, they made me feel comfortable and safe. The classes where amazing, the rss,s are very knowledgeable on addiction and metal health and they teach the courses with compassion. I learned about my triggers and trauma, they taught me that recovery is very possible. After 30 days I went over to the IOP program, the housing was amazing, well kept clean, the courses were very educational the instructors where amazing! Thank you Neil, Nikole, Suzanne, Randy, Alexa, Joe and Celina they made me feel comfortable and I felt like a part of the group! A special shout out to Kate and David. They will go above and beyond to make you feel appreciated and comfortable. Anything needed they took care off. They were always there to help and make my stay as comfortable as possible. I thought I was beyond help, then after 75 days there I now have purpose and direction, a foundation with structure and a positive outlook on life today thanks to this place. So I would definitely recommend this place . I am now in the process of goin to school for my RSS certification so I can give back what was so freely given to me.

Heads up. Their case managers like James like to have people "secretly" listen into your support calls with them. They didn't tell me I was on speakerphone or identify who was listening in on my call. And how did I know? They were literally speaking full volume. Like I am unclear if I was in speaker phone or not based on how clearly I could hear them. I heard them tell James how to respond word for word and then he would "telephone game" what he could remember. Then when I asked to talk to the person advising him I heard "tell her you're not being advised" by the mysterious advisor to my medical call and then James parroted "I am not being advised" lol like it would be hilarious if it was a skit and not my actual life being secretly listened to. Like I have severe memory loss but I'm retaining this memory because of how absurdly stupid the situation was, just admit someone was advising you.

At first I thought it was a nice place to live. Sober living, close to my job, until my air conditioning started to leak in august. The maintenance man started to repair it but didn't finish the job because he left and went elsewhere to work. I've told the mgr upteen times to please fix it. Through time, it has got beyond worse. I have black mold very bad on the walls & restaurant style trash bags covering the area with duct tape. The mgr said I could hold off on rent due to the serious health issue. I was out of town in Chicago for a week because my brother had passed away. When I came home 3 days later the mgra d an eviction officer were at my door changoch the lick, & telling me I had to evict the apt asap. She also said that I had a court date on the 25 of October of 2018. I didn't receive anything from her or the courts stating I had missed a court date. The mgr said she left it in my door. I was out of town and there was no notice of eviction or a court date. And by law, when served an eviction notice, there has to be a court Marshall or sheriff to subpoena me & I have to sign for it. None of that was done. So now as we speak, I am currently in a hotel with none of my belongings trying to resolve this matter. The mgr is shady, does nothing what she says she's going to do, and she's a dingbat. Not management material. I wouldn't recommend that place to my worst enemy.

As a teen patient that has been here 3 times, I personally like Sonora and think it's not that bad. However I can see several reasons why other people might have a different opinion about it. After being in there all 3 times I was there I saw other patients around me that would have unnecessary restraints, shots, warning, etc. However if you are a minor like I was it is really hard to be able to figure out stuff that's going on. They don't tell you anything, they don't like it when someone else tells you it instead and overall make it hard to get information.

Best place ever.. My fiance and I two years ago almost ... When we started our journey ... We were on a very painful an horrible life path. CBI saved our lives. We both remain sober today.
