I got worse here. I was never taken seriously, and it took me months of begging to have my social worker get me OUT. Amy Jo is the most unempathetic, hostile, passive aggressive person you ll ever meet. While I was there, they repeatedly screamed at kids having mental breakdowns and even sent an assault victim into a dark room to sit in the corner and think about their actions. They fed me spoiled milk, then blamed me for not checking the expiration date. The psychiatrist was cognitively incompetent and never remembered me or my name and changed my medication several times. I threatened to run away from home multiple times because of this place and I desperately wanted any way to get away from these people. I even met a girl in there who agreed to sell me nicotine for some cash and smuggled it into the building daily. If you were even 5 minutes late, you were punished. They have no real therapists there, and don t care about your education. I was in honors classes despite my mental health, and they forced me to take classes that wouldn t count towards my college credits even though I pleaded with them to fix it. Please, I m begging you, do not send your kids here. If you love your child at all, you will go somewhere else and send them somewhere else. I was abused here, lied to here, and mistreated just because of my mental health. They. Do. Not. Care.

Accepted Insurance

Centerville Clinics Inc. works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
With a partial hospitalization program (PHP), you can participate in intensive rehabilitation treatment with the ability to return home at the end of the day. For a weekly minimum of 20 hours, a partial hospitalization program can take place up to 5 days a week for an average of 90 days. During PHP treatment, you can receive relapse prevention strategies, medication management, individual and group therapy, and other behavioral therapy interventions.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
Because the severity of withdrawal symptoms can fluctuate, constant monitoring under 24-hour clinical care in Pennsylvania is recommended for early recovery. As you undergo detox, medical staff will supervise your health and ensure severe symptoms do not develop or threaten your life. Professional counselors will also be available to treat mental and emotional health needs.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Pennsylvania can be helpful to individuals who are experiencing substance use disorder and various mental health conditions. It helps you identify damaging thought and behavior patterns and replace them with healthy ones.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Pennsylvania is an evidence based technique that involves group therapy, individual therapy, and phone coaching. Group sessions focus on learning behavioral skills. Individual therapy gives you the opportunity to apply what you're learning to your personal situations. Phone coaching allows you to call your therapist during the week for help with challenging situations.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I went here about roughly two years ago, I was near the end of the school year and it was nothing but a sheet of lies and pain. Anytime I was sick I sent to another room, not a nurses office mind you ANOTHER ROOM! they don't have even the decency to contact a parent or guardian if your child is sick and rolling on the floor with pain. Another fact is they don't take threats seriously unless it's the person who started said threats, your child is NEVER PROTECTED here if they're not a physical, mental, or sexual abuser. They enable these emotions and don't help out with any emotion other than vengeance and cruelty. The only thing I learned here was to speak up to protect the ones that can't do it themselves, and gang up on the ones who have power only by words. I hope to see this place closed and the people who enabled the abuse fired and their "license" provoked. THIS IS A WARNING TO YOU PARENTS OUT THERE! NEVER EVER LET YOUR CHILD STAY HERE IF THEY HAVE DEVELOPMENT ISSUES!!!

really bad school i go here currently and do NOT enjoy it, the teachers/staff are extremely disrespectful to the children and talk bad about us behind our backs. If your child has problems needing to be solved, dont come HERE this school is NOT a safe space to talk about anything such as traumatic experiences.

Posting anonymously, Went here a few years ago, was touched inappropriately by another student on the bus. When I asked to call my mom Amy Jo refused and laughed. From other experiences I've had here including this one I would not recommend!! Dr. Fruman also prescribed me 8 antidepressants/mood stabilizers and I was 14. He does nothing but push drugs onto children.

Well where do I begin? If you want to live your life bogged down by CYS then ABSOLUTELY send your child with Mental Health issues here. For a "Clinic" that deals with kids with mental health issues they are not to EDUCATED on how these kids use manipulation and triangulation to get their way. This place is a complete JOKE when it comes to kids with mental health issues. Our 8 year old was there for a little over a month and it turned out to be pure HELL for us. I HIGHLY suggest NOT putting your kid here no matter what the circumstances are. They really have no clue what the mental health field looks like. And they sure do not demonstrate professionalism.
