Without their intervention, I likely would have faced incarceration, homelessness, or even death. I am deeply thankful for the positive impact that Medmark has had not only on my life but also on countless other individuals and their families who have sought help there. The staff at Medmark deserves special recognition; from the gentleman who greets you at the door to the nice and attentive and nonjudgmental nurses, knowledgeable doctors, compassionate and empathetic counselors, and the friendly front desk personnel, everyone embodies kindness, understanding, and support. For anyone struggling with addiction who is seeking help, I cannot recommend the Greensburg branch of Medmark highly enough. And once more, to the dedicated employees at Medmark, thank you sincerely for your life-saving work; without you, my son would be without a father, and he would lose the paternal guidance only a father can give and my wife would face the unimaginable loss of a husband and the incredibly difficult task of being a single mother... J Linger 8 months ago I been a patient since 2015,I have to thank Everyone that has treated me.They are wonderful and helped me better my life .The Doctors,Nurses and my Previous to my current Counselor whom is Courtney , which I had the pass few years are a blessing.My Experience has always been positive.I went to a Clinic in New Jersey in 2006 after I was discharged from the Army, And I had a addiction to my pain medicine from a combat injury.The New Jersey clinic was a terrible experience, Drug infested, they literally sold narcotics and the take home bottles in front of the door.Noone was clean including many staff members.Medmark is 5 star location for opioid treatment.It works if you work it.And the staff there want you to succeed.They are what makes it 5 stars, because they care.Thank you to the great staff ,I have my Life back for a decade after being lost for the prior 10 years. I’ve been with them prior to them selling the building when the original owner passed away. The new owners and staff are amazing. They are friendly they are understanding they are professional, and they will do any and everything they can to help you with any question you have. Majority of the time they’ve been able to handle everything that I’ve asked them to that I’ve needed help with. I can’t speak so highly on the previous owners. They were very unfriendly that absolutely no compassion so thank God for them selling the building. My doctor is Eric And he is beyond the best doctor. I’ve had here yet. I’ve had my fair share of doctors because this building has been quite of a revolving door, but I think it’s a good thing In a way because now I have a doctor that is Consistent and shows means stability which makes me comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and understands mental health disabilities. The therapist treating me is amazing as well. Fortunately, upbeat, encouraging, and is a good outlet to talk to about past pain, heartache, loss, guilt, shame, hurt, and hangups. Forge employees don't judge you and they have a special knack of making you smile and feel better about yourself as well as your circumstances. Every experience I’ve had there has been exceptional. From the moment you walk through the doors, the staff, UPMC Police, nurses, and physicians treat people with dignity, respect, and compassion. More importantly, they actually listen. That alone sets them apart from many healthcare experiences. What impresses me most is the physicians’ ability to quickly assess complex situations and determine what’s actually going on with their patients. Their clinical judgment is remarkable, and in my opinion, some of the brightest doctors in the entire UPMC system work within those walls. On more than one occasion, I have witnessed them stabilize a patient in a matter of minutes after other facilities struggled for days. That level of expertise isn’t luck it’s the result of highly skilled professionals who know what they’re doing. Western Psychiatric has been the saving grace of UPMC for me. If it weren’t for the incredible physicians and staff there, I would have moved my healthcare to another network, such as Johns Hopkins or the Cleveland Clinic, a long time ago.
