I Have been a patient at three previous clinics, the VA hosp in Pittsburgh, pyramid in altoona, and RHJ in Vandergrift, this is by far the place that has had the most heart. My experience with 3 counselors over 3 years was wonderful. It has been a much more personal experience, a give and take that was different from past places. With 2 of them they had been previous addicts, but all have had wisdom and encouragement. At other places it was just be me telling my life story and them bieng very gaurded about any personal details which made it less likely for me to be totally honest and not make progress in the counseling sessions. . The nurses are very kindly people as well and, unlike other clincs will accommodate me as a 40 year old man they will find another man to supervise the urinalysis instead of making me pee with a beautiful young nurse standing next to me, which I feel is inappropriate. I can say everyone is very friendly since a surly old bird of a nurse left 2 yrs ago. Maybe I just have an exceptionally good attitude or drank too much of the syzurp, but I feel if you put forth any effort in your recovery, these people will more than meet you halfway. You can improve yourself, pursue your dreams and goals or dream life away, at the Jtwn methadone clinic, you decide. everydays a blast! So come join the party today!

I transferred here when I moved to the area, and this clinic is great. It's well run, it's clean & well maintained, the staff is professional, and my husband and I love our counselors. I was originally scared of changing clinics after 8 years, but I'm really glad I did.

This VA outreach place did such an excellent job on the recent Covid shots. I got my first a few Saturdays ago then got my second on the 13th of March. They could not have been better in any way. The folks were professional, helpful and I for one am extremely proud of this clinic. Please folks, keep up the super work!!!

It's an ok place. The old is great #gonick staff is friendly. And they got a guitar. This place taught me a lot and saved me from drowning myself. Great place to get sober. Has a lot o structure.

This place saved my life I was living an absolute nightmare of a life I have lost numerous friends and family due to addiction and I was one of the worst of the worst ..Medmark helped me get off all drugs and alcohol and live some quality of life .the staff and Drs Do Care and will help you gotta be willing to put in work and learn to be respectful and responsible I am living proof that there’s hope I will have 4 years in Dec with the help of Medmark it’s better than the alternative that all my friends chose and are no longer here ..figured I would share my story a bit for those that are struggling if I can do it anyone can

Very considerate staff and never long lines to deal with. Overall a very good treatment facility and obviously much better than the life I was living!!!!

I had to go to the ER because I tripped and I thought my foot was broken. The ER wasn't busy and I was registered , went to Triage and then to a room. I barely sat on the bed and it was time to go for x-rays. Got back to the bed and maybe 5 minutes later they had the results and yes I was right I broke my foot. The Dr. fitted me with a boot and then gave me the boot lol. I have never been in and out of an emergency room so quick. All the staff was great!!

I walked in at 4:30am. I was seen by very polite intake team member. Patrick was fast and understanding. I was next escorted to a room and was given the best care. Nuring staff was awesome, kind and caring. I was seen by the doctor on call and he was caring, kind and worked quickly to address my health issues. Being new to Somerset, I was very pleased with the care I received my first time to the ER.

Today my wife had a sudden illness and was in great distress. ER staff quickly signed her in, triaged, and treated her pain with 100% relief. Tests, lab work and diagnosis provided. Many thanks to the ER staff today Oct 9!

My son who is 30 now was in the Outside In program years ago. He had great experiences on their wilderness trips. He got to see states he never had seen before. He learned about survival, hard work and discipline. He is now Contractor of two different businesses. Ty to the Outside In staff for helping my son💯❤️

I was at a Susan’s place, and I was there for almost 8 months and for what I can say and what I’ve seen I love it there.. they have helped me become to beautiful bright young lady I am and I’m so grateful that I was put into Susan’s place because without the help of Morgan, Allison and Josh and the rest of the people I had with me through my journey I don’t know where I would be right now. But I am so glad that they helped me and showed me what it was like to be different from myself when I was on the out’s then inside.

As a resident who has discharged today I would like the deeply say thank you. Yes adelphoi did get annoying sometimes and seem frustrating, the lessons I have learned there, the lessons everyone learns their won't ever compare. Adelphoi has helped me renew myself and become the best version of myself I never thought I had in me. Not all times is being sent away going to be great and hollyjolly but what you can do is make the best of that situation. That place can really open your eyes to many things, you have to just internalize it. So if your a parent or a youth wonder if its a place to get help, I would say yes. Adelphoi has never gaven up on me or many people in their community but they did start a new life for them to change their ways. So adelphoi thank you , thank you for everything!

. I had to take my loved one there and they did not disappoint. Paige,Deanna, also Jamie went above and beyond to listen and had a lot of compassion and patience. Just overall really really happy with our service today i recommended fully. They are way better than DBHS for psych. I feel safe and I know they did the best to help my dad today.

This is a great place with excellent service for people who struggle with addictions the staff are friendly and Justin beal himself is one of the best counselor their is!!! He truly does care about the people he sees and he's not someone who just read about this in books so he understands exactly what you are going through and he is beyond professional 👏 plus he always has a bowl full of little candy bars 😉 and offers anyone a cold beverage while their waiting

I was looking for help, I live in Somerset county and the first people I talked to was trying to send me to a place in Johnstown. First of all I am a private person and I have a lot of family members in Johnstown that I don't want them to know about my addiction because I'm embarrassed, but not only can I get medicine for my issues but I also see th. therapist . Everyone is so nice 😌 to me and is really helping me thru my issues so, plus there might and I said might have one other person in the waiting room but it is like they put only you on the schedule for the time you are being seen.

I go for therapy and for medication and I've been going to Latrobe for about maybe 2 years now! It took a bit to work out medications, but it takes time y'know? They're not gonna know right away the meds you need. They're always really quick to pick up the phone when I call to make appointments which is really nice because then I don't have to play phone tag. The first therapist I had was amazing, she was really nice and very easy to talk to, and my current one is also great! I was very weary of having a male therapist at first, but he made me feel comfortable and is very easy to talk to! Although, I do have a complaint about the *inpatient* services. I went once for an evaluation and I was there for FOUR HOURS. I had to tell my story to 4 different nurses, and the evalution itself was 3 hours long. After being there for that long and going through the ENTIRE PROCESS, they told there were no beds avaliable, and no discharges in the morning, meaning that I couldn't go to a room after someone got discharged, but we were fully welcome to stay in the concrete cellar we were currently in. Or, we could go to another hospital that was 3hrs away that did have an opening. We went home. I didn't want to because I needed help because I literally just tried to off myself, but my mom didn't want to drive 3hrs to come see me. Couldn't you have told us there were no beds BEFORE the 3 hour long evaluation?? I think that the outpatient services are outstanding, but I don't have a good experience with the inpatient services and I don't recommend them.

This staff has been overworked and under appreciated. Westmoreland County is in a health crisis and there are not enough workers to meet the need. Please be patient with them and treat them with the respect that you expect you yourself to be treated.

I was there for a week it was really helpful mentally and the staff is really nice. The food is surprisingly really good.

I lack of words when it comes to describing how wonderful Adelphoi is and how much they have helped me. Their program, treatment, and care is one of the best I've ever received.
