Horrible customer experience with billing. A year and 4 months after my last app, they keep sending invoices for appointments I never had. I call everyday at different times and no one ever picks up the phone. Therapy was fine, but really not worth it for the billing hassle. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Giving this 2 stars instead of 1 only because I have nothing against the staff I interacted with there. the ones I interacted with were all very nice and accommodating, and I can say I did get something out of the therapy I had while I was there. however, I'm saying this now. As somebody with severe mental illness and trust issues to begin with, don't trust this clinic. please, do yourself a favor. I was there a few years back, and got screwed over so bad I haven't been back to therapy since. I'm only just now realizing that yeah, I need therapy, and hopefully yeah, most clinics aren't like this. But I'm telling my story now, despite it being late, because I want others with similar challenges that I have to know that it's best to keep looking. Why did it take me so long? Anxiety, that's why, and I apologize to everybody out there struggling who might have also been hurt by this clinic in that time. But I'm coming out now, because I'm sick of being too scared to share my story, especially when I'm not the only one who would benefit. If I get hate for it, whatever, fine , come at me. I'm not afraid of you. You weren't there. If forge is working for you, great, I sincerely hope they don't mess up with you the way they did with me. But I digress. Anyway, when I was at forge, I saw a therapist that was wonderful. I will not mention names, I will refer to them as "they/them". I do not wish to out this person in any way because none of this was their fault, and I'm not giving any information about them besides the fact that they went on leave. For very legitimate reasons. That sucks for anybody with mental illness to deal with change, especially a change in therapists but I trusted this clinic and this person's judgment. So a new one was selected for me to cover for the one who went on leave. I had no issues with this therapist either, believe me. They were also great. However, low and and behold, for whatever reason, and I'm not faulting them for it, I'm faulting the clinic. This person left, and my previous therapist was still on leave. So naturally, I'm their client, I needed somebody else. I'm paying these people for a service that shouldn't be taken lightly and in this country it is and it's disgusting. Forge health told me that all of their therapists were booked and they didn't have anybody for me, and completely dropped me. Didn't give me a wait time, didn't update me, nothing. Just dropped me. I dont remember if I reached out or not because my brain does this thing and dissociates to block out trauma. But it shouldn't matter if I did or not. I am somebody with severe mental illness who has had suicide attempts and has been hospitalized in the past. By NO MEANS should any mental health clinic be ghosting me, or ANYONE, with ANY sort of mental illness. Its absurd. I'm trying to stay civil on here. As much as I'd like to id love to curse this place out for their shitty management but again, I wish the staff there no ill will. I usually don't come out of my shell to write reviews like this but this experience really took the cake. I know it's kind of a unique circumstance, but honestly, why take the risk? This company's management obviously doesn't give a crap about their patients. Anyway, this has gotten very long but everything I've said so far has meaning. If you don't agree, that's fine. But I'm not here to debate with you I'm here to share my story hopefully for the benefit of others. If youre somebody reading this and forge or any other organization hurt you in any way, I am truly sorry, and I'm here to tell you that youre not alone. And with that, I'll see myself out. Forge, do better. That's all I have left to say on the matter. One more quip: Forge, stop overbooking like you're an airline company

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Per session payment lets you pay for each treatment at the time of service. You may also pay for a certain number of sessions up front and then pay for more if needed. This format allows you to tailor the financial investment to your specific needs and avoid having a large lump sum payment due at the end of the treatment program.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehabs offer an intermediate level of care for clients who do not require the kind of intensive supervision and support an inpatient program typically provides. Many clients transition into outpatient care immediately after exiting inpatient treatment. Others enter outpatient programs upon completing detox. Some facilities offer ambulatory medical detox for clients who do not require hospitalization. Most outpatient rehabs offer a combination of services, including addiction counseling, life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Clients who enroll in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) are typically either in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that increases their relapse risk. These programs promote clients' sustained sobriety through robust support, including multiple, extended care sessions per week. Intensive outpatient treatment often encompasses an array of services, including psychotherapy, recovery education, and evidence-based holistic therapies, such as acupuncture and meditation. Many outpatient rehabs also offer medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Telehealth can include services provided by counselors, social workers, pharmacists, and nurses, as well as doctors. When these professionals deliver a service via telecommunication technologies, such as video conferencing, it is considered telehealth.

They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Men and women receive emotional support from their peers during group therapy sessions. These are typically people who face the same struggles that you do. This exposure fosters a sense of camaraderie and community while reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness that often accompany addiction.

Therapists provide you with the tools you need to improve communication skills and conflict resolution. When families work together, they can support their loved one's recovery and help to restore balance and harmony within the household.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in New York is a short term therapeutic method used to treat substance use and mental health disorders. CBT typically lasts from five to 20 sessions, based on the individual's needs.

You can participate in couples therapy to focus on a specific problem in your relationship or for general strengthening of the relationship. This therapy aims to help you improve communication, address conflict, and grow in affection for one another.

Coping with day to day living is a challenge while in addiction recovery. Life skills training helps you learn how to manage daily tasks and deal with stress in healthy ways. This is key to long term recovery.

During dialectical behavior therapy in New York, you and your therapist will look for triggers and patterns that are guiding your emotions. This involves keeping a diary of your emotions and situations and sharing this each week with the therapist. This information will determine what you work on in each session.

Introduced in 1983, motivational interviewing is a method to help clients commit to change. It's based on the philosophy that change is hard, and clients must explore their own options and come to their own conclusions rather than receive warnings or advice from the therapist.
