I stayed here a few years ago, I can t remember how many. One thing positive I can say about them is their team of doctors are extremely educated. All my life I have felt other people s physical pain and emotional pain and had many other strange things happen. I was put in their hospital because everyone close to me was dying or going through serious upsets. I couldn t handle . They diagnosed me as an Empath which answered a life long question as what was wrong with me. I appreciate them so very much for that and am very grateful. Also my personal phychiatrist, I can t remember her name, she had long blonde hair and was very beautiful inside and out. I d love to know if she s still there. As far as the staff there s good and bad everywhere but they were mostly good. They didn t offer much in a program way so me and 6 other patients watched the tape of instructions on DBT. We had booklets to go along with the tapes so we were able to take notes. We taught ourselves so well that it s saved me many many times, plus it made the time go by and each one of us learned better by taking turns teaching and learning the lesson for the next time. I definitely recommend this hospital. It s also very clean and beautiful inside.

I have had a great experience with the VA staff in general. Scheduling has never been a problem and they send me plenty of reminders. Everyone I've interacted with seems to take their job seriously, and really cares.I'm writing this review primarily because of a specific recent experience:At my appointment I had blood drawn and a flu shot. When I was scheduling my next appointment in the lobby, I started to feel extremely dizzy and lightheaded. I'm stubborn, and I was in the infantry, so I tried to tough it out. I figured if I could just finish my scheduling I could just go pass out in my car in private. One of the staff members noticed and immediately took me to the back of the clinic. They took my vitals, gave me water, and sat me down. All of the staff were caring and showed compassion the entire time. I felt bad for inconveniencing everyone but they would not accept any of my apologies.I'm very grateful for the way I was treated. I was very embarrassed but was given dignified, understanding treatment that anyone in a similar situation would be fortunate to receive.

Choice Point offers excellent mental health services with group and individual therapeutic sessions. When I began the program, I was assigned to Jeff Gish. As I worked the program and had inevitable difficulties, Jeff went way beyond his counselor role and engaged me as a friend. That was the turning point for me that helped ensure my recovery. Everybody shoots straight here and you truly know how much they care about your mental health oh, and the medical services are equally valuable. They helped me find medications that worked for me and were always attentive when I called. I can t say enough about Jeff and Choice Point. They helped me turn my life around and that deserves all the stars in the heavens.

The support staff were amazing. They were knowledgeable and always willing to help. The therapists, case mangers, etc. were thoughtful, insightful, and caring. The outings and walk in Central Park enhanced my experience and prove that participating in fun activities sober is possible. I wish.this was my first time in behab, because it was just what I needed. The access to our phone and the process has to tightened up. Request for the phone is supposed to be within 24 hours and the communication of the status needs to be timely and consistent. If there are meal requests (smoothies for breakfast) need to be honored. The temperature regulation is inconsistent and should be better regulated. Freezing in our room and hot in rooms on the same floor. Minute in com partisan to the positives. For a re hab experience, it was amazing. Thank you.
