As things aren't perfect I was diagnosed with something else as well. St joes triage comes through Everytime. I use FAMILY CARE PHARMACY on 59 church st I believe in paterson. If you can't drive use this pharmacy they will reimburse you for Uber rides . As far as I know they don't have a limit how far a radius it covers but I come from Newark to paterson and they compensate the driver graciously

I am and will forever be so grateful to this place and its staff. I feel I’ve learned so much about myself and now have a good awareness of why I’ve felt the way I have my whole life, so irritable and disconnected from the world. Big thank you to all the staff, Tamara, Ms. Mayling, Bryant, Dwayne, Tim, Ms Keisha, Isabella, Patrick, The Dave’s, Ms.Q, Gus, Vince, Dawn, all have the interns, everybody there helped me more then they will ever know by teaching me how to get honest and open minded to a new way of life. Turning point as well as life in general is what you make of it, I’ve been fighting with drug addiction for 20yrs and could never understand why no matter how successful I would get on the outside I would always turn back to drugs in the end. I finally came to understand that for me it had to be addressed on the inside, I had to open up about everything I’ve ever been through whether I thought it was relevant or not to my addiction. I’m so grateful that I’ve finally surrendered to this process, learned how to accept my past, help, and that this is a life long process that is well worth the effort. If you are suffering from addiction please try and stay open minded, turning point is a great facility it you want to learn how to begin to change your life

Straight & Narrow is not perfect, but neither is anyone. They have they're flaws and imperfections just like I do. If the place was absolutely perfect people would find something to complain about. It's just how it goes. I had a warm bed, hot food, and although the groups were limited, it was my choice to attend more than I was scheduled to go to. So that's what I did. People complained about group time and then complained about down time because they were bored.. I guess it's a journey that is decided individually. I opted to go to every group everyday and every opportunity I had I would volunteer for things to do to help. I was rarely bored and always looked forward to the weekdays rather than weekends because I liked the groups. They didn't keep me longer than originally discussed when I arrived as others were saying. But then again, maybe others didn't participate to their potential or maybe others didn't take the initiative to show their counselors what their intentions were. Some people want to get better and some people are court ordered to be there. The. Some, like me, were court ordered but wanted to get better. I completed a relapse prevention plan to present to my counselor and constantly asked her for more work books to better myself so she knew my intention was authentic. I guess I just felt that it was important for me to clarify my experience there because nobody pointed out anything positive, here's something. THE PLACE GAVE YOU ANOTHER CHANCE AT LIFE, IF YOU DONT TAKE IT AND IMMERSE YOURSELF INTO YOUR RECOVERY, YOUR DOOMED TO REPEAT HISTORY. The only shot we have is inside of us, the four walls doesn't mean a whole lot. it's your personal motivation.. Ask yourself what you want more and why. Thank you straight & narrow for the opportunity to take advantage of your program and I couldn't be more pleased with the majority of the staff. My counselor, Emily, was a super helpful person and important role in my early recovery. She challenged my answers, which I respect, and she also made me be accountable for my own recovery. She Cares, that's ultimately how I feel about her and I can't thank her enough. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants recovery and isn't worried more about the color of the paint or what mattress they have, that person probably doesn't want recovery to begin with....

I wasnt sure at first cause every place is different but this one actually worked for me. The staff were cool and they explained stuff clearly so I could follow along. Some things felt a bit slow but overall I left feeling like I had real progress and tools to keep going.

Yeah, so, my life was a bit of a dumpster fire before I showed up here at Paterson Recovery. 🔥🤷‍♀️ Seriously, like a bad reality TV show. But these guys? They helped me grab the extinguisher and actually put that thing out. They've got this cool way of making you face your stuff without making you feel like a total screw-up. It's tough work, no lie, but you'll probably chuckle a little along the way. Who knew getting your life back could be kinda fun? Highly recommend for anyone whose life needs a serious reboot.

Paterson Recovery had a calm, steady vibe that made the hard stuff feel doable. The staff was serious about helping, but they weren’t pushy — they explained everything clearly and made sure I felt supported through each step.The setup was clean, the schedule made sense, and I never felt lost or like just another number. I appreciated how they balanced structure with care. It gave me space to breathe, but also enough of a push to keep going. By the time I left, I felt more in control — like I had a grip on myself again.

I came here for about about year. The staff has always met me with nothing but positivity and support. Chris was my councilor and even after graduating I still call him to check in and talk because he is truly helpful and cares about his clients. After being through several cookie cutter programs and a mommy and me the was shut down by the state, it’s nice to see a program that actually cares about their clients. They’re willing work with and connect with people as individuals, not just addicts.

I had an excellent experience Tuesday at the PNC branch located at 1152 Main St, Paterson, NJ 07503. Mayad provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. He was incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. Not only did he help me with what I originally came in for, but he also took the initiative to show me helpful features in the PNC app that I didn’t even know existed. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything and made the entire experience easy and stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about helping customers, and Mayad’s professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile truly stood out. My son has been working with Morris, a Recovery Coach at Mountainside for the past eight months and the experience has been exceptional for us both! Morris truly understands how to support recovery in a real world, day to day way. The coaching goes further than check-ins. It includes accountability, life skills, emotional support, and sometimes honest hard conversations. My son has learned how to manage challenges, make healthier choices and is learning how to stay focused on his long-term goals. The progress he’s made has been remarkable and I credit much of that to the consistent well informed coaching he receives. Not only does Morris provide coaching to my son, his expertise extends to me as well. He is highly responsive and always follows through. Mountainside’s Recovery coaching is more than a service. It feels like it’s a true partnership. As a mom navigating this process, I am grateful for the guidance, structure, the encouragement and situational advice Morris provides. I would recommend their coaching without hesitation to any family who’s looking for meaningful sustained support around sobriety. This has made a significant difference for my family. Early recovery, albeit exciting, can be fragile, and I cannot imagine having gone through this experience without the coaching Morris provides.

Id love to give these guys a 5 but recently I was dropped due to insurance. ( I have medicaid. Which makes me less fortunate then others who pay for there insurance) so after about a year and a half. Outside of that the groups are excellent the facilitators truely care, and the people who are the ones that really make the groups they are great. I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did.
