Although there’s a long wait, their 3 day detox saved me in my darkest moments. PJ Amedeo 2 months ago I'm not sure which st johns i went to but it was for detox and it was amazing the staff the nurses were very helpful and actually cared I would highly recommend it for anyone that's going through addiction the food was amazing the service was amazing I wish I could have done rehab I was there on 3 north I believe but there were no beds available for rehab greatest detox I've ever been to I did a review on both because I wasn't sure which one I was at but I was there from December 16th to December 21st greatest experience even the patients were cool highly recommend my name is Rody Rody Gonzalez 5 months ago I went here after my local ER failed me and kept sending me home with alcohol poisoning / withdrawals. I can’t speak for everyone or every program, but I felt very cared for. I told them I needed a hot shower because I couldn’t regulate my body temp and the nurse had someone come and clean the shower for me. I had to sit on the FLOOR, of essentially a public shower I was so sick. But it still felt clean. The shower head was odd and too powerful, but again, available and CLEAN! I was properly cared for, and if you EVER need help, they’re in your room quickly. Medications are taken seriously and used appropriately and given regularly. I was woken up to take my meds, which is probably the only reason I woke up without pain or nausea. I spent very little time here, but it was very pleasant and the staff very caring. I haven’t even had a hangover post care at this facility, but if I ever struggled again, I’d admit myself here willingly. Staff makes the entire program worth it, and they’re (in my experience as of mid 2025) excellent :) no thanks 10 months ago

I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did.
