I was in a car accident and of course was dreading going to the hospital thinking I would be there all day. Boy was I wrong. I am so impressed with the way this hospital treated me, how efficient and smooth their operation was. I wasn't left alone for more than a few minutes before somebody else came in and tended to me or took me for x-rays or gave me a shot. The staff were so nice. I was in and out in less than 2 hours and saw an MD, a PA, a nurse, and a few others. Kudos to this amazing team and thank you.

They are so wonderful here and I truly feel that treatment was so therapeutic. They have wonderful groups and DBT and make sure your needs are met and accounted for. They were super flexible to grant me time to celebrate my mom's birthday! Shout out to all especially to Melissa, Rena, and Romesa for their help. Dr. Darly along with Dr. Mehta and Dr Preethi were so amazing. Charge nurse Gitu is amazing and make sure we take our meds to get well. I just want to say that Bridge Back to Life is an AMAZING center for addiction recovery. I wouldn’t have been able to get clean without them and I mean that more than I could ever possibly express over the internet. They’re incredible. Their process, their staff, everything. Have been here 3 times in 6 months. I am reviewing my visits separately due to different experiences. The first experience was amazing, the second was good with an amazing woman who did my sonogram. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but I could have them check. She should be acknowledged for her outstanding care, concern and empathy. The third visit/experience which was a few days ago was horrid. Going back tonight and will update that visit tomorrow.
I am 44 years old & severely anemic due to uterine fibroids. The first time I was here my hematologist sent me here after seeing my iron levels were at a 6.7. My experience that day was amazing aside from having to wait an hour and a half for blood results 2 times but not their fault, I’m not the only patient. I don’t think someone should be getting a blood transfusion In the hall but if no rooms are available what can you do. I think my nurse’s name was Sam or Stan {sorry}, a young Filipino man. He was exceptional, explained everything thoroughly and checked on me often. Even being discharged was done quickly. Every test and X-ray that could taken was done. They left no stone unturned and I left with answers and a solution {at that time}. I was contacted 2 days later asking if I needed help finding a doctor and set me up with a doctor’s office that called me after a few days to set up an appointment. They also checked to make sure they took my insurance prior to my appointment. Everything was done efficiently and effectively from start to finish. Even the transporters were kind. I was seen right away and was there for 6 hours in total. Most of the time was waiting for results to come back. Everyone there was pleasant, a student nurse passing in the hall even checked on me and got me a pillow and sheet. Pleasant experience and experienced crew for my first emergency room visit.

I was a little kinda iffy about Doris when I met her an realized she’s pretty great person. Tasha that’s my girl we hit it off from the minute I walked through those doors she gave me encouragement when I was down an always was able to tell when I was upset. Joe is such a Cooler older gentleman. Gentle Giant Lmfaoo. Jenn I didn’t leave you out your great too. Danny at first I wasn’t sure about I don’t do well with new people but he is a good guy. And there are really really good people there you have to just give them a chance. I am beyond grateful for all of them. They have helped me in more ways than one. A friend of mine informed me that a mutual friends niece was financially destitute & did not have ability to leave her home due to taking care of her children. Since she is a resident of Staten Island, I forwarded information via email about CHASI & referred them to Angel Comacho for further assistance.
On June 25, they met with Angel who was very helpful with a sweet demeanor and took them to the pantry for food. Angel also informed them of up & coming pantry events for the niece. I had a wonderful experience with them. My newborn had jaundice and then his labs were not satisfactory. Dr. K. McDonough was amazing with explaining everything throughout the process. When my son’s labs were not getting back to normal Dr. McDonough took it upon himself and arranged for immediate appointments with related specialists, he took off so much burden off my shoulders when I was so anxious about my son’s health. I am a former Marine, transitioning from a military life to civilian life was not easy by any means. Neither was my struggle with addiction which I battled over a decade and the fight does not end. Silver Lake has not only fought by my side, but was the safe haven, support, and help I desperately needed. Some of these counselors are very special people and every single one of them are not just professional but make it so comfortable to talk as if you are talking to a good friend. I don’t know where I would be today if not for Silver Lake. Anthony Perrone the program supervisor is truly an amazing person, NP Sledge is also and I have met a lot of people on my path. I’m am still in the fight thanks to him and the staff at Silver Lake. Not just with substance abuse but general therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, anger management program, couples therapy which I am about to undergo excited to do so, and most importantly just the day to day support of the counselors. The day to day support and genuine care that this facility provides is hard to come by. My counselor is always adamant about the fact that he is always available to reach out to, and has proven that time and time again. I am beyond grateful for this place and people. I have the choice of going to the VA as a disabled veteran and Silver Lake, I personally choose Silver Lake any day.

If I could give a negative star I would. As per care coordination not associated with their housing program Yael Hudson the director will and has committed medical fraud. Care coordinator supposed to accompany you home from the hospital I know because St Joseph would do it Marquetta Wilkerson my case said I don't do that every other thing I even was I don't do that. These people would call me once a month to talk about nothing they would acido for youyael Hudson even tried to tell me she didn't know if the government phone program still exists I tried to disenroll twice they lord and claimed I was yet took the MEDICAD for 6/21 when they absolutely nothing. Run don't walk they should have their npi 990 c status revoked fraud

I had a wonderful experience with them. My newborn had jaundice and then his labs were not satisfactory. Dr. K. McDonough was amazing with explaining everything throughout the process. When my son’s labs were not getting back to normal Dr. McDonough took it upon himself and arranged for immediate appointments with related specialists, he took off so much burden off my shoulders when I was so anxious about my son’s health. It meant a lot, and I’m very grateful.
