it was okay overall, staff is really nice and caring, therapists are chill, place isnt that strict, environment of milieu can be chaotic and triggering though depending on what group of kids you have. i think the co ed is nice, ages 11-17 so it adds for some diversity. the tier system is kinda mid but its fair and it adds to ppls motivation :) shoutout to mona, alexis, and jon my favorite staff overall - maz

I mean everyone there the staff everyone was a good person and kind and cared . They would give you the shirt off there back. I was referred to Serenity Infuse by my doctor at HSS. I have been receiving infusions for CRPS since 2014 so I’m very familiar with the process and know good from bad. It takes a really special set of skills, medical and human, to be a ketamine infuser and Serenity has the goods. I started smoking at age 13. I am now 64 years old. I have used laser therapy to stop smoking in the past. I had remained smoke free for 2 and a 1/2 years and then Covid-19 hit. Ever since then, I have tried to stop smoking again, with no success. My husband and I relocated to upstate NY. I knew that I had to stop smoking again, once and for all, because I was seeing how the smoking was impacting my health. I researched places that provided the cold laser treatment. I found a couple of places in upstate NY and Safe Laser Therapy in Connecticut. After reading the reviews for all of the places, I decided to call Safe Laser Therapy. I spoke with Malti and after speaking with her, I knew that I had found the right person. Malti is extremely caring, compassionate and supportive. She wants to help you succeed! I was extremely impressed with Malti doing 2 back to back treatments. I've never had that done before. She also spends time educating you and providing you with resources and tips to help you get past the urges/cravings! I have never had that before either. I had my 2 laser treatments done and I have remained smoke free 6 days as of today. I have to say, I feel absolutely wonderful. I've experienced no symptoms of withdrawal and any urges or cravings are minimal. I'm able to simply push them away. I honestly can't sing the praises for Malti enough! She is simply amazing! If you are looking to stop smoking, I would highly recommend Malti at Safe Laser Therapy. She's absolutely the best, hands down!

I bought a Groupon for 2 sessions thinking it was for two people, but Malti helped me understand that only 1 person can perform the therapy per session. Even though I decided not to proceed, she took the time to call back and help me get a good understanding, which I don't find other companies do often. I came here for help to quit smoking. I had the detox wrap and the laser therapy. Malti was very informative on each procedure that was being down. She even sent a lengthy email before my appointment and had details about how to prepare before coming. The place is very clean, Malti is very understanding and really cares about your needs. I smoked for 40+ years and so far (8 days) have not picked up a cigarette. There are no cravings at all. I highly recommend Safe Laser Therapy for quitting. Cannot say enough about how knowledgeable Malti is. Even checks in with you to see how your doing.

After a stressful experience elsewhere with an enlarged thyroid that was affecting my voice and swallowing, I came to Phelps Hospital and Northwell Health for a second opinion. The care I received from start to finish was extraordinary. Every physician I worked with—Dr. Hellerman (Endocrinology), Dr. Newman (Surgery), and Dr. Indich (Primary Care)—took the time to truly listen, explain everything clearly, and treat me like a person rather than a chart number. The team at Yorktown Imaging was equally wonderful, keeping my spirits high and putting me at ease during my pre-op MRI. On surgery day, everything ran like clockwork. Admissions was private and efficient. A patient care concierge explained the tracker system to my husband so he could follow my progress, and my prep nurse was attentive, communicative, and made sure he could sit with me before surgery. Dr. Newman took extra care to place the incision where scarring would be minimal, and the anesthesiology team kept me completely informed. Recovery staff managed my post-anesthesia nausea immediately, and Dr. Newman checked on me before I was discharged to rest at home. Post-op follow-up has been fantastic—calls were returned promptly, and one week out I have minimal pain, zero complications, and feel better every day. Thank you to the entire Phelps team for your skill, warmth, and genuine patient-first culture!

This place saved my life. Full stop. Incredibly caring professionals across all functions and disciplines. I am so grateful we found them. Their care and attention towards me was constant, deep, and real. They really provide the peace and atmosphere that allowed the Doctors and I to do incredible amounts of work and healing. The Doctors too were incredible, talented, and providing a very high standard of care. Food was amazing (yes it's hospital food, adjust your expectations a bit). I had steak, burritos, pho, Thai, lasagna, pasta, bbq, burgers, and more. Across 6 weeks I think they only repeated a dish 4-6 times. And there's a salad bar and panetta/sandwich bar every meal. Many kids ate grilled cheese every meal instead of grown-up food and vegetables, so I would take their complaints with a pinch of salt, hah. Reading the other reviews is amusing. Bear in mind the complaints are coming from sick people, and it is frustrating to not find a silver bullet for very real and severe illnesses. Some people enter thinking this is a spa vacation. It is not. Your healing will require you to do work on yourself as well. The more you invest in the process the more long term success you will realize (I am not a Doctor, but my peers who invested in recovery had similar progress to myself)

Silver Hill took me in when I was at the lowest point in my life. I went to several different programs during my stay and was treated with respect and care the whole time. There were the usual tiny wrinkles that comes with being in a hospital system but overall it was a wonderful hospital that has a lot of different specialties. I would highly recommend if you can afford it or have insurance coverage. I worked with Dr. Emily Haas and Micaela Scully and would also recommend them for trauma care.

An amazing group of individuals helping those of us who not only want or need help, but are there helping us work through not only our addictions but emotions. 10 out of 10 Would recommend if you’re in need… pretty much anything that will make you feel better about yourself by helping you… understand yourself. And it’s nice to sit in a group of peers judgement free. There is nothing but love pouring out of this place. And as a side note after reading lower rated posts. I have no insurance and they have done absolutely nothing more than help me and be there for me. Please if you feel you need some help, give them a call. It’s worth it.

Westport House is well managed and well run. It has all the amenities you could ask for, with resources to get every aspect of your life back on track. The management and staff cares about you, and that's important when trying to better yourself. They really give you an upper hand. I hope I don't need to, but I would recommend anyone to stay here to get their life back on track, and I would again in a heartbeat.

After years of trying everything we could think of, my wife and I finally found Westport House. Our son was admitted quickly and efficiently, and, from that point on, our experience was incredible. After a couple of months we saw a noticeable change in our son. The staff was very timely in their correspondence with us and always treated us appropriately. During his time there, our son became actively involved in Alcoholics Anonymous, obtained employment, and began treating us and others with a level of respect we did not know he was capable of. He stayed there for 7 months, and I can say, it was very much worth every penny. Our son is still sober today and continues to attend the AA meetings that he went to during his time at Westport House. We cannot thank Westport House enough for giving us our son back. After 7 painful years, the change that he was able to make in his life is incredible, and it is all thanks to the great staff and services at Westport House.

After being in and out of many different rehabs, it was at Westport House that I learned how to live a brand new life. The staff was kind, loving, and compassionate. They showed me the way up and out of the horrible rut I was in. They also helped my family understand addiction, and what they needed to do to help me, and themselves. The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable, and the incredibly supportive! Being able to see their therapists and clinical team was also essential in aiding my recovery. I'm so grateful for the life Westport House gave me.
