Once there my comfort in the environment and experience grew. I knew I was in a safe place. I felt very supported. I knew I was in good hands. Since September of ‘23 the benefits of IV infusion are still with me. The best benefit is my “default trigger levels” have significantly gone down, the fight or flight reaction to that trigger is more under my control now. I am now 64 years old. I have used laser therapy to stop smoking in the past. I had remained smoke free for 2 and a 1/2 years and then Covid-19 hit. Ever since then, I have tried to stop smoking again, with no success. My husband and I relocated to upstate NY. I knew that I had to stop smoking again, once and for all, because I was seeing how the smoking was impacting my health. I researched places that provided the cold laser treatment. I found a couple of places in upstate NY and Safe Laser Therapy in Connecticut. After reading the reviews for all of the places, I decided to call Safe Laser Therapy. I spoke with Malti and after speaking with her, I knew that I had found the right person. Malti is extremely caring, compassionate and supportive. She wants to help you succeed! I was extremely impressed with Malti doing 2 back to back treatments. I've never had that done before. She also spends time educating you and providing you with resources and tips to help you get past the urges/cravings! I have never had that before either. I had my 2 laser treatments done and I have remained smoke free 6 days as of today. I have to say, I feel absolutely wonderful. I've experienced no symptoms of withdrawal and any urges or cravings are minimal. I'm able to simply push them away. I honestly can't sing the praises for Malti enough! She is simply amazing! If you are looking to stop smoking, I would highly recommend Malti at Safe Laser Therapy. She's absolutely the best, hands down! Even though I decided not to proceed, she took the time to call back and help me get a good understanding, which I don't find other companies do often. Malti was very informative on each procedure that was being down. She even sent a lengthy email before my appointment and had details about how to prepare before coming. The place is very clean, Malti is very understanding and really cares about your needs. I smoked for 40+ years and so far (8 days) have not picked up a cigarette. There are no cravings at all. The Doctors too were incredible, talented, and providing a very high standard of care. Food was amazing (yes it's hospital food, adjust your expectations a bit). I had steak, burritos, pho, Thai, lasagna, pasta, bbq, burgers, and more. Across 6 weeks I think they only repeated a dish 4-6 times. And there's a salad bar and panetta/sandwich bar every meal. Many kids ate grilled cheese every meal instead of grown-up food and vegetables, so I would take their complaints with a pinch of salt, hah. Reading the other reviews is amusing. Bear in mind the complaints are coming from sick people, and it is frustrating to not find a silver bullet for very real and severe illnesses. Some people enter thinking this is a spa vacation. It is not. Your healing will require you to do work on yourself as well. There were the usual tiny wrinkles that comes with being in a hospital system but overall it was a wonderful hospital that has a lot of different specialties.
