About Suboxone Recovery Center of Arkansas

On East Sunbridge Drive in northern Fayetteville, Arkansas, you can find the Suboxone Recovery Center of Arkansas (SRCA). At SRCA, Dr Tomlinson facilitates a top rated service that operates 24 hours a day, giving people who need to detox that ability at any time, day or night. This facility has a reputation for being quite affordable and accepts cash payments as well as patients on private insurance.

Helping Patients From the Begining of Their Journeys

At SRCA, the facility’s specialty is providing patients with medically assisted treatment (MAT) by giving them Suboxone. This medication helps patients detox from opioid addictions and is also capable of cushioning the effects of opioid overdoses. Because SRCA’s modalities are built with Suboxone at the core, this is an excellent center for people struggling in the initial phases of opioid detox.

SRCA is able to take patients in for inpatient care, during which they will continue helping patients with MAT while also providing counseling sessions. They also do testing to ensure that their patients remain abstinent from substance use.

Affordable and Dependable Outpatient Car

People dealing with alcohol and substance addictions can also access regular, affordable counseling sessions and advice at this facility. They provide individual and group counseling and are known for their professional, relatable, and friendly service.

At SRCA, it’s also a priority to extend the care offered beyond the initial detox phases. One patient wrote that she was adjusted off Suboxone at the perfect time. The goal here is to set up a future of sustained recovery and sobriety for every patient by using the therapy sessions and educational workshops to bolster their patients’ chances of success.

If you are seeking Suboxone treatment and come across this provider, I strongly advise looking elsewhere, as treatment here may seriously hinder your recovery. This doctor requires patients to attend AA meetings as a condition for receiving Suboxone, which is not an appropriate or evidence-based requirement for medical treatment. While support groups can be beneficial, forcing a specific program on patients is unethical and not aligned with best medical practices. Additionally, patient privacy is not respected, as he often leaves the door open during consultations, allowing nearby patients to overhear sensitive discussions, which is a clear HIPAA violation. One of the biggest issues is the excessive and unnecessary drug testing. He uses Aegis Laboratories, which tests for an extensive range of substances, including non-illicit ones that have no relevance to treatment. These tests are extremely expensive, and many patients, including myself, have received unexpected bills months later totaling over $1,500 just for drug testing, not including the $200-$300 per visit for consultations. To make matters worse, he and his nurse will encourage you to call the lab to request a payment plan in hopes that your balance will be reduced, which feels like a deceptive practice. This doctor is an orthopedic specialist with a history of alcoholism who now considers himself an addiction expert, but addiction medicine should be managed by professionals with formal training in the field. If you need Suboxone treatment, I highly recommend seeing a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in addiction who will provide ethical and cost-effective care using standard 14-panel drug test cups rather than unnecessarily expensive lab screenings. Save yourself the financial burden and frustration by seeking care from a provider who truly prioritizes patient well-being.

Caleb, Thanks for making the case for why recovery is so important. Although 12-step recovery is the most popular, cost-effective, and accessible resource for recovery, cognitive behavioral therapy and psychiatry are also acceptable alternatives. Whatever method is used, taking responsibility for one's actions and being accountable is fundamental to all. Recovery is an inside job.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Clients undergoing treatment at an inpatient rehab receive extensive therapeutic support through daily addiction counseling and recovery-focused services. These often include addiction education and life skills training. Many inpatient facilities also offer evidence-based holistic therapies, such as massage, yoga, acupuncture, creative arts therapy, and experiential therapy. Inpatient care is typically best suited for clients who recently completed detox, are in early recovery, or at a heightened risk of relapse.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient rehabs ensure that clients continue to receive robust and consistent therapeutic care without requiring them to reside at the treatment center. The frequency and intensity of treatment depend on clients' evolving needs, ranging from daily to weekly addiction counseling and recovery education. Outpatient programs often include peer coaching, life skills training, and individual, group, and family counseling. Outpatient levels of care include partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living/halfway housing, and standard outpatient care.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
During many phases of addiction treatment, you'll need to receive 24-hour clinical care in Arkansas. This supervision ensures your safety during the detox process. Licensed medical professionals and experienced addiction specialists provide medication management, non-addictive medication to curb withdrawal symptoms, and frequent monitoring of vital signs.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
The process of a medically assisted detox is when all addictive substances are removed from your body. Usually performed in an inpatient setting, you are under the 24/7 care of licensed medical medical professionals who keep you safe and comfortable during the detoxification. Medications are often administered to help alleviate potential withdrawal symptoms. The process can vary in length, but it typically takes 5-7 days.

Clinical Services

Individual therapy gives men and women in Arkansas the chance to engage in one on one therapy sessions that focus on identifying personal triggers and high risk situations for drug and alcohol addiction. Your therapist works together with you to develop coping strategies and build resilience that promotes sustainable recovery.

I reached out to him for help with Sublocade, and instead of handling it discreetly, he recklessly texted my phone days later—without my consent—exposing my personal recovery details to my entire family. I never gave him permission to contact me on this number, let alone share sensitive information. His careless actions have caused me significant distress, especially since my family holds negative views on Suboxone recovery, undermining the progress I’ve worked so hard to achieve. His disregard for my privacy is completely unacceptable.

I called with hopes of referring a patient of mine here. I called to confirm the prefix for the fax number due to the number being based in Dallas, TX (469 area code) and not NW Arkansas (479 area code). Dr. Tomlinson was helpful in returning my call and addressing my questions.
