I’m 29 now but when I went to jack brown it was a really good program we got to connect with our native heritage there stick ball sweat lodges Indian tacos etc at graduation I got a blanket I still I have to this day

Jack Brown Center helps Native American juveniles to stop an active addiction while learning to live and cope without the source for the addiction. The staff that was there during my stay was an exceptional group of people. A day is always busy with a large variety of activities such as basketball, kickball, weight lifting, trust fall, disc golf, 12 step meeting's, chess, billiards, Native American chants, going in a Cherokee(I think) sweat lodge, help cooking meals once earned, learning to sew, and my favorite game we referred to as, hoccer, which involved a massive 5' or 6' yoga like ball. At the time I didn't always see it, but the rules were reasonable and helpful such as room had to stay clean, bed was made daily and one form of discipline for breaking rules was to write out a given sentence about the infraction many times. I was even allowed to paint the Choctaw nation seal on the wall while there, although my time was done before I was able to finish so hopefully someone else did. This changed my life drastically and I am always thankful for my experience at the Jack Brown Center!

I can't say enough good things about this place. These folks have helped me more in 2months than other places did in years!!! My therapist and case manager are my angels! I've seen child clients run to there therapist when the door swung open...it's not just me receiving the GLORIOUS help here. Do the deal and let them help you. I'm so so grateful for my Tahlequah Creoks peeps! Please give them an honest chance and let them help you improve your life. I was in deep despair and now see the light thanks to these kind people!!!

I have always had great service but this morning going in at 4 o’clock in the morning for mild hives. They were so understanding and they got right on it. I wasn’t in there no longer than 30 minutes. And finding my nurses name right off hand she was absolutely outstanding the best great job Baptist health!!!!

I had an injury and went in thinking I broke a bone or worse. Everyone was very friendly. The doctor was quick, friendly and compassionate. Nurse Melissa was very attentive and kind. She made me less nervous about the pain and explained everything really well. Compassionate care is very important when you’re experiencing any type of emergency and I am thankful for the care I received.

I love that place. It's expensive, but so is drug addiction. We need more places like that in the river valley. I don't understand why we don't have them. If you were like me and looking for a miracle this is the place. If you want your sobriety you have to try. The staff there is super nice and willing to help you in any way they can. Great service this place saved my life. Employees are outstanding and care for all their patients. They go above and beyond for us. If you need them they are always there for us. I wish I found this place sooner. So I could've been a real mom to my children sooner.

Great speakers and info! Learning the different perspectives and how the RPs, Directors, IT, and HR, and even finance works together was great. Lovingoood was the high point! Relatable, applicable, informative, and helpful! The time allowed to be together outside of meeting was invaluable, too. Great balance! Location was fantastic!

Life changing experience!

I graduated on June 18th 2025. Yes the program is tough & many don't understand the process of all the rules but sometimes tough love and structure is needed. The staff are amazing people who really do care. They represent love and you see God working through them to help all the ladies! It's not an easy job or calling but God uses them to transform life's. Most of these life's are in some type of trouble or turmoil! And Freedom House helped me set my focus back to where it needed to be & relieved me of my troubles! So thank you all & I love you all for everything you've done & are still doing!

I came into the program completely defeated I was very bad on drugs with no hope and just empty inside I knew I had to change or I was going to die or be in prison and never be apart of my kids life. Since being at Freedom House I’m no longer bound by addiction and I’m able to be a positive safe mom for my children and since completing the program I stayed to serve at Freedom House as an intern and God has truly changed my life and my destination here! This program is the best place if you want to truly be set free! ✝️

I was a student at Freedom House almost 5 years ago , and I returned to do restoration after completion. Freedom House saved my life. The Holy Spirit is in that house. There is peace unspeakable there and true love from the staff. I learned how to become a women after God's own heart while I was there. I will never forget my time at Freedom House Adult and Teen Challenge.

This place saved me. Life got to be too much and I realized I couldn't do it alone. The staff and my counselor and team were amazing. I have been all over The United States trying to find good crisis and mental health care for my loved ones. (For years now.) The crisis unit in Jay, the staff, therapists, doctor or doctors, case workers, after care, are the very best. They should be funded to the max and expanded to teach other care givers in this Country, how to help people who suffer with mental illness. I just hope they never change!

GLMH in Pryor have been absolutely wonderful for our family. I love they’re involved in the local schools & genuinely care about the well-being of their students and clients.
