Im writing this review for 2 reasons one to help someone else who is pregnant and struggling with addiction and two because I m very thankful to have found Tulsa comprehensive treatment center. I ve been an addict for about 7 years. I started on Percocet and oxy and eventually fentanyl pills and powder. I tried suboxone, kratom, weaning off, and cold turkey withdraw. None of which worked. I found out I was pregnant and attempted withdraw a couple times I got so far along it got too dangerous to continue to even try to get clean on my own. I was one of those people who frowned upon methadone I did not want to trade one substance for another and I knew I could get through the withdrawal but never stayed sober for long. The people at the treatment center are supportive, informative, and non judgemental and everyone there has their own story so they can actually relate and give real advice instead of someone who s never actually experienced addiction. I think the only thing I would change if I could go back is not starting methadone sooner. Everyone has to make the choice that is right for their self but if you are considering a treatment center this is a great choice. If you are someone who is scared or unsure I don t blame you but I promise once you do an intake and start treatment you will not regret it! And if your pregnant and scared this is an option for you and they will answer any questions you may have.

Absolutely so grateful for Tulsa CTC! I was transferred here from California about 2 and a half years ago. The transfer was very smooth and easy! I absolutely love this treatment center. They remember everyone by name and even know my young son s by name. All of the staff is pleasant and they truly care! They also take suggestions seriously. The bathroom used to not be clean enough and ever since I mentioned that the bathrooms have been exceptionally cleaner and more well stocked. I have never felt judged by anyone at this clinic (there was one woman who worked there named coco and she made me extremely uncomfortable but thank god she quit). I feel safe at this establishment as well. Want to give a big huge shout out to my counselor Alicia for always being there for me and believing in me and encouraging me to sign up for school. (Which I did and I m attending) big huge shout out to Bree & Sherry and Cheryl! I m so blessed to have you all as a part of my recovery.

I'm so happy to see that Brookhaven has a higher rating than Laureate! A counselor I liked moved to Parkside so I followed. IT WAS AWFUL! So I moved to Laureate. It was okay at first, but they've shown they don't care. Patients are just dollar signs there. I was a patient here several years ago, I had to come back just recently. I started a program called Sonara where I come in once a week and take my dose, then they send me home with a week's worth and I take my doses online. It's such a relief to not have to go into the clinic each day, Iive just outside of Tulsa and do not have a vehicle. It has helped me in my recovery tremendously, since I don't have the burden of worrying about how I'm going to get there each day. My case manager, Alexis, is very helpful as well. I can go to her for assistance with things other than just my recovery, as she understands everything in life can affect our recovery/relapses. My counselor, Sid, she listens to me intently, has given me constructive criticism, and has helped me see myself from a perspective I never have before. Also, the nurses are cool too; they're not like the nurses at my doctor's offices or at other treatment centers I've been to. Thank you Rightway!

DR. Hayes is amazing. She has been so helpful over the years and she looks out for the best interest of her patients! You don't find that a lot in addiction rehabilitation. The nurses are so great, so kind, and they care about each patient that comes in. They don't make you feel like it's a "herd em in, herd em out" type of place.IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT. True, even for methadone clinics. It saved my life and I hope to see the stigma around methadone change shortly.

First off if you are reading this and need urgent help dial 911 or the suicide hot line 988! If you are just in that position where you need help please get it!I wish I would had a place like this I could have gone to the first time I tried to hurt myself. I checked myself in after having the worst year of my life. I lost my sister and best friend 05/26/24 then our son 08/11/24 (plus alot of other things). I spiraled on the 3 month anniversary and went to see if there was room. They were fast with the assessment and got me in right away (I REALLY NEEDED IT)I will say I have been in a state run hospital in 2008 back in Illinois and it was a terrible experience. I also heard "horror stories" (from someone who wanted pills not help and was forced there) about Laureate and needless to say I was concerned. Well turned out the place is AMAZING!!!! I can tell you I got more help in the 6 days I was there then the 30+ years in and out of psychiatrist and therapist. Now if you want random meds... not the place for that. The staff is so gentle and caring! The food isn't bad and you get fed HUGE portions to the point I had to ask for less (can't complain about being fed). I only ran into an issue with 2 staff members and I reposted my grievance with my survey for them. The groups are alot better then I would have thought and the more you participate the more you learn.I will say with any inpatient program you will have patients who you might not get along with or who are having more issues then you might. They helped me see that I was coping and numbing my pain that I have gone through my whole life with alcohol. They were able to get my meds working and got me to see I need to work through my trauma and grief not numb it. If you do not want to work for it then this is not the place for you! Now, if you want to work (not easy and a lot of tears) on bettering you and learning about several coping skills as well as just learn more about psychology to better assist you in your journey then this is the place for you.I cannot thank the majority of the staff for all they have helped my family and me. I plan on sharing most of what I learned with my family to help us through this all. The people who complained prob were forced there or couldn't get the meds they needed. Some of the other patients and I even built a little support group and exchanged numbers to keep in touch. We ALL agreed (also some were sent there) that this place is beautiful, helpful, and all in all amazing! There are two sides that you can be placed and I was placed in Moore 2 so it might be different on the other side. All in all a helpful experience that I learned so much for and do not have to put on a faade anymore! I now know it is ok to cry, mourn, be sad, be angry, and all the emotions I've been going through for the last several months. The do not force religion on you or anything of the sort which I was concerned about since they are with a Christian Hospital! Alot of people mentioned religion but none of the staff really did... now that I think about it.If you read this far THANK YOU! Also YOU GOT THIS!! Check your self in if you need it and you will see what I mean!

On 28 January 2025 I had an upper and lower GI scope done by Dr Lynch at this facility. Dr lynch has been my Gastro doctor for at least 15 years. I had never been to this facility before and I was very impressed by the nurses, anesthesiologist, and operating staff who performed these procedures while there. The compassion, kindness and their willingness to listen to my concerns was very refreshing. Many times in life we come in contact with people who are just Doing their job and people who are called to perform their job. The staff I interacted with were called to perform their job and and it showed. They really care for their patients and it showed in all they did.I highly recommend this facility, Dr Lynch and the support staff he worked with at Tulsa Spine.and specialty. Thank you for caring.Kevin and Shirley Egly

I have had an amazing experience with the company, but especially Jordyn. She has gone above and beyond to work with my schedule and making sure that I can still be seen no matter what pops up. She has been the best about making sure I not only advocate for myself, but also making sure I challenge myself in every situation. She has been so supportive! Even better, my little one adores her whenever he has to sit in my sessions with me. I have recommended Improving Lives to friends and family, and would continue to do so.

Michael has been so amazing and helpful since I started here with my boyfriend. He really cares about us, makes us feel comfortable, and always makes time when needed. Every time we leave a session we feel encouraged and leave with more knowledge and tactics to try out. Our mental health is definitely a priority at this practice.

My child loves the social group here. They work on age appropriate skills for building relationships with peers. My child's confidence and ability to be assertive have increased. The billing department has also been great to work with. Overall, it has been a great experience.

Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic

Our son spent several weeks as an inpatient at Parkside Hospital recently. Not only was the inpatient treatment exactly what he needed for stabilization, their services didn’t stop there. Our family is participating in their outpatient program and have been so grateful for the continued care and concern the staff has shown after his discharge. This is truly what wrap around services should be and Parkside has been the only facility who have supported us via their outpatient program after discharge. Due to the severe side effects caused by anti-psychotic medication, our son has a difficult time complying with treatment in a home setting. Because he’s had a history of trauma that comes with enforced inpatient treatment, he is terrified of keeping outpatient appointments that have been scheduled to help him remain stable. Dr. Michelle Sharp understands psychosis and the basis of his fears, and is flexible enough to allow us to exchange information via phone calls/emails when appropriate. Because of her willingness to think outside the normal perimeters of traditional treatment, his compliance with trying new medications/dosages has increased. She understands the complexities of the titration process, which has helped me (as his primary caregiver) to stay the course and not give up. She is the perfect combination of professional knowledge and compassionate care. We are so fortunate to be working with her as part of our son’s treatment team. We can honestly say the same for all of the staff at Parkside. With the current chaotic state of mental health care in Oklahoma, Parkside stands alone in providing stable consistent treatment that not only makes sense, but truly puts families first.
