Always made me feel welcome and part of a family. UPDATE 5 yrs later and Jarra will still answer her phone and help me, talk and remind me about the good qualities that I have.( 4 months later update) So this is my update October 2024 my daughter is at Resonance after she got out of prison and she loves it and is so proud of herself that I talked her into it so. This is coming from someone who stayed a week. Mr. Jimmy had amazing food and Mr. Corey, Ms. Tabitha was positive except for when she called a girls sister annoying because she was sick and Ms. Tabitha was making excuses for why her sister couldn't talk. It was very hard to leave because I made great friends and an even better roommate. My roommate was always talking to everyone about anything and I loved it. Of course I missed my other friends but I missed her more. There was also a non-English speaker who they would only include if ms. Lydia was in. I also know Mr. Michael's grandson.

I have been a patient here for several years. The staff is amazing, encouraging, and supportive. The rude lady at the dosing window (mentioned in other reviews) hasn't worked there for a long time. The ladies working the dosing window now are both very sweet and friendly. If tou go in to be assessed , beware - You're going to have to be in real withdrawal when you go in for the first time. I don't mean 'trust me I feel like crap' withdrawal, I mean 'puking and shitting on yourself, soaked with sweat but freezing cold, shaking, eyes watering, nose running, clearly obvious' withdrawal. It really looks like the majority of the negative reviews are from potential patients who were unwilling to fully cooperate. Some of these other reviews seem very misleading. It is my understanding that this hospital shares a name with the hospital in a video game? So that’s why some of the pictures on reviews are a video game characters. Regardless, it is my understanding. Also that Brookhaven no longer has a ward for just drug use or mental health. All patients have brain injuries. Our nephew was at Brookhaven for several months getting treatment for his brain injury and struggles with acting out and my family has nothing but the best to say about their care. His therapist called us regularly and listened to what we had to say and his treatment really worked. He’s not living somewhat independently with no problems and appreciate medicine. I think some of these very old reviews need to be taken down

I've been very satisfied with my experiences using FCS after iniating care through the crisis care center. The contrast between the experience I've had with FCS compared to Grand are EXTREME - the people at FCS actually care about you and I never felt like anyone at Grand gave a damn about me. FCS makes sure to schedule my next appointments before the current appointment ends and they have been great about working with my impossibly busy schedule. They have even offered to advocate for me to my medical doctors for issues that keep getting written off as being related to my mental health when that actually isn't the case. When they say they are giving you a team, they mean it. If you need help between appointments you can call COPES and that actually goes into your chart so your team can follow up with you. Telehealth is very helpful - not only for obvious reasons but it is a big advantage for those of us that struggle with PTSD triggers in public places. Communication can get clunky with missed texts or telehealth not always working appropriately but that's not often. Reception can be a pain to deal with sometimes - occasionally rude but not often and a reception job can be a difficult role so I expect this to a degree at every business.

I haven't been here yet but I know people that have, I'm currently homeless in Norman, Oklahoma and have been for many years, I am trying to build up the confidence to push myself into doing something like this cause I have a 14 year old daughter that means the world to me, and being out here over a long period of time has really driven my confidence into the ground. Reading comments from people really help, I pray that soon I'll have enough confidence to go do this or something like this, I'm just wanting to make sure I don't have to come back to this way of living cause I'm afraid of what it's going to do "mentally." All the staff are super caring and very respectful they make sure that we are feeling ok and they do not try to push anything on you they let you make the decision on if you want your dose highered or lowered. Very efficient and polite group of gentlemen. They removed 3 large pieces of furniture and took them to the dump for me. I just had my second surgery here and both times the care was phenomenal! My nurses-Haley Payton, and Maci- were the absolute best and so caring. My techs-Grace and Mollie always went above and beyond. I felt seen, heard and well cared for during my 2 days there. Thank you! Also, shout out to Shantale in pre-op who got the IV when no one else could! I know the surgery and post Op staff were.good, but I don't remember them😉

I've been to the location on Harvard. It's good for what it is. If you're in crisis, or you have an addiction issue go to Harvard Avenue. If you are dual diagnosis or you have just mental health I 110% recommend this location. Everybody here is absolutely wonderful. However, I don't have children so I cannot attest to a family going here. However, if you are just an adult and you are married without children or your children are grown. Go here, it is absolutely wonderful. There's an intake coordinator named Marianne. She is great! I went there today. I've been having a very hard time the last couple of weeks with my mental health. I used to abuse substances and I haven't in almost 4 years but I've been having a very hard time recently with mental health and they got me through it the last couple of days. I might have have ended up in the psych ward for the first time in many years if it wasn't for this place. So again I cannot attest to the children part of their title. But as far as families. They are solid at this place. They care.

Love them. Started just over a year ago, they set me up with an amazing counselor and worked around my schedule to make appointments. My care team was amazing and everyone was super helpful. I stopped going a few months ago and they reached out making sure I was alright and offered to help get me set up again if I wanted. I don’t currently need their services but if I ever do I will definitely go back.

I have had nothing but a good experience since starting 3 years or so ago. Myself and my family have used several different services, all of which were positive experiences. Ive had a care tem and they are the best. They have kept track of me and reached out routinely. I'm very grateful for their services. I just can't rave enough. If ever there was an issue as they too are human and suffer life as we do. Who knows what the reason, but I always treated everyone with kindness ( I think) and showed them understanding, knowing it's a high pressure job with difficult people struggling with life. For all the many who have been a part of all of our treatments, we thank you. 🙏

Great place to receive inpatient psychiatric treatment. Yoga, rehab, group processing, experiential therapy, and individual therapy is received. Don't forget to sprinkle some gym time and uno , with the game life. And the staff is great. Can't beat it. Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic even celebrate patients Birthdays. It was good, but almost never open beds, I only stay once for 3 days, I had severe pneumonia, I been to the classes, it was good, but I felt like shit being very sick at the time, I was tired, aching, running a high fever, I enjoyed what I could,, went to Hillcrest nextdoor, oh, but I can't go back, they do not anymore accept people over 30, it's focused just on the younger audience now,, I'm Marisela Tk on fb.
