The 12 step curriculum is the same at any 12 step treatment center in my experience, and that was the case here. The biggest difference was the facility is so nice and clean (built in 2019) and the staff is doesn’t give off the impression they’re miserable with their job, your treated with respect and compassion. They also value client input and suggestion and actually take concerns seriously. I was also going through about 5 days of absolute terrible alcohol withdrawals and made it well known how uncomfortable and sick I was and the doctor took note and gave me Phenobarbital, Klonopin, sleep meds, and Visteril so I was able to actually get out of bed and participate during my detox. You can let them know daily about subjects you would like to discuss in future groups. You assess your self daily so you and the staff can track your progress. Unfortunately this was my 4th treatment center in 10 years. I can say this was the nicest one I’ve experienced. Some your treated just a step above an inmate or a child. The 12 step curriculum is the same at any 12 step treatment center in my experience, and that was the case here. The biggest difference was the facility is so nice and clean (built in 2019) and the staff is doesn’t give off the impression they’re miserable with their job, your treated with respect and compassion. They also value client input and suggestion and actually take concerns seriously. I was also going through about 5 days of absolute terrible alcohol withdrawals and made it well known how uncomfortable and sick I was and the doctor took note and gave me Phenobarbital, Klonopin, sleep meds, and Visteril so I was able to actually get out of bed and participate during my detox. That alone made the entire experience worthwhile.

Excellent professional service, Dr.Nitin Sawheny, MD is now the internal medicine specialists. I have been working with him on my health journey. I had been looking for a safe alternative to weight loss. I'm proud to say that in the last eight weeks I have been working on his weight management program and lost 23lbs. He has me on semaglutide/NAD+. The best part is you have a choice of how you want to work your program and you start off slow and with what you can afford and it works 110% I can't say enough good about it. He and his staff are willing to work with you and give you time to decide what's right and get everything on track he's there for his patience and he really listens. I went to this facility 2 times as a teenager. The last time I was there I stayed for 3 months. This place became like my home and it provided me structure and a community to get me ready for the real world. I had so many amazing staff that impacted me. I’ve been in places before where it felt like I was just going through the motions, but this hasn’t been that. This house gave me a reset—somewhere I could slow down, get honest, and actually start doing the work instead of just talking about it. There’s a level of accountability here that keeps you on track, but it’s not forced—it comes from being around guys who are serious about staying sober. That kind of environment makes a difference. You start to carry yourself differently, think differently. For me, this place has been about rebuilding—habits, mindset, and trust in myself. It’s not always comfortable, but it’s been worth it. If you’re ready to take your recovery seriously, this is a solid place to do it.

I’ve been here long enough to know the difference between a place that just gives you a bed and one that actually helps you change your life. This house is the real deal. There’s structure, accountability, and people here who genuinely care—but you still have to show up and do your part. That’s what I needed. It hasn’t always been easy, but that’s kind of the point. I’ve learned a lot about myself here—how I think, how I react, and what I need to stay sober. The guys here get it. Nobody’s pretending, and nobody’s above anyone else. We’re all just trying to get better, one day at a time. If you’re serious about your recovery and want a place that’s going to challenge you and support you at the same time, this is it. It’s been a big part of helping me get back on my feet.
