This is the absolute worse place for anyone going through a mental crisis. I have a family member that was treated at this facility and the staff is horrific!!! All they do is gossip about each other and disregard the patients and their needs. They don't follow normal schedules like bed time or being allowed outdoors. Once the staff is bored, they force the patients to do as they say. The staff is lazy and don't care to abide by Medicare and Medicaid guidelines and document truthfully. They just falsify records because they don't want to do their rounds. And there is no possible way for the patients to complain or else they are retaliated on. How is this supposed to help people that are in dyer need of support and a reason to move forward? I would have thought that once Integris bought the facility, everything would change, but sadly it has not!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone. The administrators act as if they don't see a thing as well. How do you let your staff go unsupervised and not hold them to a higher standard. This makes all of Intergris look bad in my eyes. The psychologist have received complaints on the staff as well and yet do nothing about it. My next complaint will be straight to The Joint Commission. I am deeply disappointed!!

This place lies, mistreats and mentally abuses and traumatizes it's patients. Sexually abused children all under the age of ten all are partially watched while they shower, and they shower with other kids at the same time in the same room. These children were often sedated. In adolescents 2 if a child throws a fit they pin them to the ground and sedate them. Granted they tend to only do that when I child is going wildly out of control. When I went there, they promised I would leave within a week. Instead I was there for exactly a month, just the exact length they they could continue using my insurance. I have mental images and trauma from this place. I recommend, that if you are looking for help for your child make sure they fit the requirements, otherwise, I recommend ou Childrens hospital. OU Childrens Hospital were actually able to diagnose me correctly the first time and have helped me become normal again.OU Childrens Hospital, 5 stars. This place 1 star.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient rehabs provide extra support for clients in early recovery and those at a high risk of relapse. They allow clients to focus on their sobriety safe from outside distractions, stressors, and addiction triggers. Clients reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, where they receive extensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Many programs also offer robust life skills training and holistic therapies, such as meditation.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients enrolled in rehab aftercare programs have typically completed weeks or months of intensive treatment, often in inpatient detox and/or rehab centers, and may be receiving outpatient care. Drug rehab aftercare is designed to approach recovery as a life-long process. Clients and their case managers and care teams typically work together to formulate clients' continuing care plan, which may include peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program facilitation, among other services.
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don't require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for ~ 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals. Partial hospitalization is provided three to five days a week in a structured group setting.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
The safest way to remove addictive substances from your body after you've become physically dependent is through a medically assisted detox. Usually performed in an inpatient setting, a team of licensed medical professionals are tasked with monitoring your health and helping to minimize the risks and physical discomfort caused by withdrawal symptoms. Medically assisted detox is often the first step in the recovery process. After your body is safely free of substances, you'll likely transition to an inpatient treatment program to continue your recovery.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

To address the issues of addiction, each drug rehab in Oklahoma is tailored to meet the individual's needs. Treatment may occur in a residential or outpatient setting, and may last from a few days to several months.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

I think programs, doctors, all the staff, in general, is very professional and know what are doing. The only big thing that is bad with them is that you got to feel like in jail.

I recently got out over a month ago for the second time, my first experience was not helpful neither was the second, I have sever mental and physically illnesses that affect my everyday life (as most patients do) they were informed on these issues yet completely neglected them. For instance I have a panick attack disorder. (If you read other reviews you can tell most staff are rude and/or loud which yelling is a big trigger for a lot of trauma patients.) due to this yelling it triggered a panick attack and staff was told to ignore me or booty juice me for I was “doing it for attention “ or “faking it” in one instant I even got violently picked up dragged and throw into a chair for having an episode (panick attack) I did report to the administrators and nothing came out of it. If you’re child is in need of help.. do NOT send them here.

Hello. My name is Robert I am Scott’s partner. I was admitted Sept. 6 2024 because I was having mental health problems. I can not say this was the best experience. It was like a prison. They treated you more like a prisoner than a patient with problems. I am 59 years old and did not get the respect that I deserved as just being a patient. Sometimes I was treated as if I was a child. I started in room one and moved to room two. Room two was much better. The night staff needs to check themselves. Most. Let me repeat most not all were very rude. I could give situations but that would take too long. I did not fill out a discharge review because first I was ready to leave and second I did not want to pigeon hole everybody with the rating that I would be giving (1,2,3,4,5). There were many, let me repeat many people that were nice and helped me greatly and gave me the tools I needed to move on and get better. It is sad the people that were extremely rude that made this experience not so great. I will not call out the people that were rude but management may want to take a proactive approach to this. There are several people that were exceptional at what they do. I wish I could name all of them. I will name two that were warm, kind and very helpful. They are the best (please let them know this). They are Miss Karla and Mr Dan. Thank you for your help. I took your advise and am seeing my PCP and Therapist. It is a slow process but great. Overview. Not a place I would want to return to but it helped me. Thank you to the the people that went above and beyond. Regards, Robert J. (For those who need help, there is help out there. Do not what 59 years to get it. I am living proof.)

I was admitted and stayed 6 days as a 14 yo. I hated and loved it. I miss the schedule and the people I met and some of the staff. Most of the staff are extremely rude, and it makes you wonder if they really want to help or just make you worse. Also let’s get our patients out of paper scrubs that rip so easily. It would also be better if they treated us as humans, not objects.

I just went there and got back 2 days ago not a horrible place but not amazing. Some of the night staff are super loud at night laughing and cussing with each other waking me up. Group is very good they do help alot I love the day staff but when something medical happened they didn't help because they didn't believe me and you should always treat something real just incase it is real. Shout out to Ms.D Mr. Terance,Mr.thomas,Ms.karen,Ms.star, Ms.april, ms.b there even be more but it's not totally bad. You just need go work treatment it's not supposed to be fun it's supposed to get you back up on your feet.

Spent 10 days in the adolescent ward after a reaction to my antidepressants, I was only told I’d be in 72 hours, I left more suicidal, more depressed, and with a worsening sh problem than when I went in and while I was in I didn’t see the sun for a solid week except for the on un tinted window I walked past on the way to therapy, the food was awful and the milk was spoiled. Awful place and I didn’t get better in the slightest while inside

I was there in 2017 for about 4 months. I had previously been in 13 psych hospitals before this and none of them worked as good as this one. That was my very last hospital I ever went to and had stopped self harming from that place. Mrs. P and Tyron were my favorite staff members. They made me feel heard and listened to. Only missing one star was because of the food. Over all a great experience for me because I actually was made to feel like a person instead of a child with issues!
