Spencer, OK | INTEGRIS Mental Health has a center in Spencer, Oklahoma, that focuses on treating co-occurring disorders and substance-related mental health issues. In order to support your healing process, this program offers group, individual, and family counseling as part of a customized outpatient (OP) treatment plan made to meet your specific needs. They as | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I honestly have so much to say. I was admitted in August and was there for a month. The staff were amazing but it is true that they picked favorites. Obviously it’s a mental hospital so it’s not going to be perfect because everyone in there wants to hurt themselves or someone else. I didn’t necessarily like that we had the same group lessons every week but it was always very interactive. The group that I was in there with got pretty close and I think that’s maybe why we had so many problems. I will say that my therapist was absolutely terrible. She was fired on my last day which pushed back my discharge date. She connected with me but omg she could not grow a pair to my parents at all. She was very unprofessional and honestly gave up on our sessions. It was very rare that she’d actually come get me for therapy and when she did it was VERY brief. Also while I was in there.. I watched a very young girl being hurt multiple times. She had no business being in our unit with the older kids and the issues that they have. I stuck up for her multiple times and tried to make everyone understand but her being there was completely unsafe. She was too young to be in there with us and I think the hospital is responsible for her behavior and how she was treated. Other than that, I got along great with the staff and never had any problems. I’ve heard horror stories about other facilities and I’d much rather going to Integris than anywhere else.

This review is for the adult unit. My stay here was an overwhelmingly positive experience. I was treated respectfully by staff the whole time, and came away with useful, practical tools to improve my mental health going forward. A few of the staff are absolutely exceptional and it's clear they were put on earth to do this job- Mr. Tracy, Ms. Melissa, Mr. Dan, and Ms. Dee Dee included. I received just as much help from the other patients as well, many of whom were caring and empathetic. It will be a great source of comfort in the future to know that this place is available should I ever need help again, I would not hesitate to go back. With that being said, your stay is absolutely what you make of it- to be truly successful you need to be proactive and actively participate in your own recovery.

This program played a critical role in supporting my sobriety. I began my recovery journey in the inpatient program at Valley Hope, and after completing that phase, I transitioned directly into their outpatient services in Oklahoma City. The outpatient program offers two formats—online and in-person—and I chose the in-person option because of the structure and connection it provides.
Throughout my participation, I developed meaningful relationships with fellow patients and benefited greatly from individualized counseling sessions. These one-on-one meetings were especially impactful, offering personalized guidance, accountability, and a safe space to process challenges. The group environment also fosters peer support, encourages personal responsibility, and helps individuals stay focused on their recovery goals.
I genuinely believe that the outpatient program was essential to maintaining my sobriety. The support, education, and community it provides make a significant difference, and I cannot overstate how valuable the experience has been. For anyone struggling with substance use, I strongly recommend considering this program as a resource for long-term recovery.

Though we went for couples therapy, he also did individual sessions which were instrumental to improving our relationship as it unearthed the root of significant issues. Im not taking down my previous review because I have gotten so much good from my treatment there..ive had several major bumps to get over in the 12 yrs ive been going there and im just hoping thats all this is..a bump in the road and things hopefully will get better! I am however going to add this from my experience because thats what these reviews are for..not to lie!
New
I have noticed a definite change in things lately. Since the other organization merged or bought in or whatever they did..there has been staff that had been there a long time that are no longer there as well as procedural changes. The main difference ive seen is nobody answers the phone and they dont return calls either. Im on O2 continuously and dont drive anymore. Its not like i can run over there to find out why my calls arent being returned. Im a fairly patient person but after 3 or 4 days id think someone would return my call. Im starting to wonder if my provider is even there since 30 days ago! Its happened to me twice before and nobody told me til i went there. I hope they get it together and become more patient friendly..they need to realize they are dealing with mental health patients. They may have long standing physical health experience but thats not what they are dealing with now and the people that worked there were good at what they did so let them do their job.!
Im sad to see that people have such negative things to say about a place and people so dedicated to helping the mentally ill.
I've been a patient there since the latter part of 2014 and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have been there for me when nobody else was...they have helped me thru issues I'd been dealing with for yrs....helped me do what I couldn't do for myself.
I'm not going to say that in the 7 yrs I've been there that it's all been perfect. I've butted heads with a few and been hurt by a few...some were my fault a few were theirs....
What I can say is anytime a situation has come up they have handled it as quickly as possible...they listened and they have acted. I've got a serious physical thing going on as well but they have not ever given up on finding the right meds that my physical and mental self could take....they use the latest meds and they help you find a way to get them if you can't.
Anyone that feels bad about this place and the people there hasn't given them a chance...they can only help as much as you let them...talking about the problems gets you what you need. They will find the right team. Give them a chance...
They don't make the money they could make elsewhere I'm sure,...and they are all good to great at what they do....so that tells me they are there because they care...it's a choice.
Thank you Northcare and Northcare Pharmacy for all you have done for me ....

Oklahoma City, OK | Nestled in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Into Action Sober Living offers those who take the next steps in their recovery process more than just a place to stay. They provide a life-changing environment where recovery has a chance to flourish, and the personal transformation to a sober lifestyle outside of an intensive inpatient program is made possible. | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’ve been here long enough to know the difference between a place that just gives you a bed and one that actually helps you change your life. This house is the real deal. There’s structure, accountability, and people here who genuinely care—but you still have to show up and do your part. That’s what I needed.
It hasn’t always been easy, but that’s kind of the point. I’ve learned a lot about myself here—how I think, how I react, and what I need to stay sober. The guys here get it. Nobody’s pretending, and nobody’s above anyone else. We’re all just trying to get better, one day at a time.

Subsequently, we switched to RightWay Medical, and they have been incredibly helpful.
There have been a few instances where they made mistakes. For instance, Carla, one of our former nurses, miscalculated my dose. At that time, I was taking 140 mg, but she gave me only about 100 mg. I usually can tell by the amount in the bottle and how long I’ve been on that dosage. I would check my bottles after receiving them, and they would be fuller than when Carla dosed me. So, I didn’t think to check my take-home doses at the time because they usually paid close attention. However, for some reason, she wasn’t paying attention that day. When I got home, I noticed that my bottle was almost empty. It wasn’t full like it should have been. When I contacted them, they informed me that it was already too late because I had already left the facility. I realized that I should have checked my dose before leaving. That was the first time my medication was messed up, and it’s only happened once since then.
The only other issue I’ve had with them was a failed urine test. I had to undergo a drug screen, and it indicated that I had narcotics in my system when I knew I didn’t. I asked them to resend the test and investigate further because I was innocent and knew I hadn’t taken anything besides my Methadone. However, I was still in trouble and had to visit them daily for about three or three and a half weeks.

Oklahoma is ranked 5th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $54,475.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Oklahoma vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Oklahoma. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance.
