Incredible people that make mental health care accessible. Everyone here is so kind, thoughtful, and they work so hard to take care of their clients. It is a nonprofit, and as such there is naturally a little bit of disorganization and miscommunication from time to time. But you can tell everyone here cares about the work they're doing.

So I’ve personally done this program twice. And I really liked the place it’s true the website does need to be updated because they don’t offer a lot of the services it says on the website. But it’s a place you can really focus on your recovery and work on yourself without any distractions. The staff are also in recovery there selves so it’s not being taught or ran by people with no experience in addiction. If you’re going to go with the right intention of getting yourself together for yourself first then this is the place that I would recommend. They cook good homemade meals. Lots of meat and potatoes. The rooms are big and have their own air conditioner that you can control. My favorite part was how big the property is and if you wanted space there is plenty of space to clear your mind without being bothered.

They seemed like they actually cared to help me with my situation but unfortunately it backfired. Was advised that I have a right to access my own medical records from a crisis unit that drugged me, beat me, choke slammed me, lied that I was still suicidal after I had been stabilised so they could commit me and milk me for Medicaid payments, and more. Instead of giving me the records they retaliated with criminal charges telling police I was harrassing and stalking them. I lost my visa in Australia and was separated from my family, spent 2 months in jail, got a ankle monitor (for calling medical records department from overseas?????????) had to surrender passport and will potentially go to prison. Do NOT ask a crisis unit for your medical records. If they harmed you just keep quiet. Let them squeeze you for every cent they can. They will beat you and knock you out with drugs if you don't follow their orders. You have no rights. Even if the law says you have rights you don't because there is no one to enforce them. Don't go to a crisis center at all actually because they are guaranteed to make a bad situation worse.

I’m using my husbands google account because I don’t have one.. but I want to thank lighthouse for everything especially Kera Macky idk if I spelled that right she’s over med clinic.. my husband called her because I was suicidal and she got me right in.. and then Stacy hays idk if I spelled that right either but big big help about coloring… my therapist Kelli is amazing and helped me get through piano.. all the ladies up front have made me feel so welcomed.. never treated me like I’m worthless.. I thank God for light house Seminole and kera for helping keep me around another day…and for helping me and getting me the help I need.

My husband went there for kratom addiction. He left early but has been sober for 6 months!! I credit them with helping him get over the physical symptoms with care and compassion. Truly life changing!! And his insurance fully covered his stay. Family days were insightful and it's a very nice, interesting property. Id recommend it to anyone facing addiction. Hands down the best VA I’ve ever been to. Top Reasons: Service, Speed of Availability, Quality Care and Follow Up. My opinion is based upon other states Such as Central Texas and Southern California locations. Here in Oklahoma I was able to accomplish more as a Traveling Veteran in 1 month than I could ever have imagined in comparison to the other two states. When they say they look after their veterans they stand behind their words. I wasn’t pushed to the sidelines and told to wait weeks or months for the next available appointment. I've been here 4 times, 2 with my fiance Christopher, and twice myself, they go above and beyond, especially the nurses,so caring and kind Especially Lydia, she really cares about her patientsI love her and the other nurse that helped me,I had intense stomach pain on September 2nd,and they were so attentive, and the doctors are also wonderful,they were also great with my fiance earlier in the year with his Asthma treatment, This is one of the best Hospitals in Oklahoma

I went to this facility 2 times as a teenager. The last time I was there I stayed for 3 months. This place became like my home and it provided me structure and a community to get me ready for the real world. I had so many amazing staff that impacted me. When I’m having a really bad time in life I can think back on skills and just good advice people here gave me. This place truly saved me because I may not have made it this far without the knowledge and connection I gained there. I went to oakwood springs I was mentally broken and dealing with substance abuse I was suicidal and didn't know which direction to turn well the staff there is really great especially TJ Jones he's like a mentor to me he took all this time and really gave me attention and mentor to me and gave me some real knowledge he is very inspirational and in my opinion the best on staff there all the staff is great but TJ was phenomenal I recommend this place can anyone dealing with substance or mental issues it is a very well organized place the food is great the staff is great in the living conditions are good groups are good overall it was a very good experience
