Hands down the best VA I’ve ever been to. Top Reasons: Service, Speed of Availability, Quality Care and Follow Up. My opinion is based upon other states Such as Central Texas and Southern California locations. Here in Oklahoma I was able to accomplish more as a Traveling Veteran in 1 month than I could ever have imagined in comparison to the other two states. When they say they look after their veterans they stand behind their words. I wasn’t pushed to the sidelines and told to wait weeks or months for the next available appointment. So to all of the staff doctors, PA’s, Nurses and volunteers you have my 🫡.

I’ve been in places before where it felt like I was just going through the motions, but this hasn’t been that. This house gave me a reset—somewhere I could slow down, get honest, and actually start doing the work instead of just talking about it. There’s a level of accountability here that keeps you on track, but it’s not forced—it comes from being around guys who are serious about staying sober. That kind of environment makes a difference. You start to carry yourself differently, think differently. For me, this place has been about rebuilding—habits, mindset, and trust in myself. It’s not always comfortable, but it’s been worth it. If you’re ready to take your recovery seriously, this is a solid place to do it.

I’ve been here long enough to know the difference between a place that just gives you a bed and one that actually helps you change your life. This house is the real deal. There’s structure, accountability, and people here who genuinely care—but you still have to show up and do your part. That’s what I needed. It hasn’t always been easy, but that’s kind of the point. I’ve learned a lot about myself here—how I think, how I react, and what I need to stay sober. The guys here get it. Nobody’s pretending, and nobody’s above anyone else. We’re all just trying to get better, one day at a time. If you’re serious about your recovery and want a place that’s going to challenge you and support you at the same time, this is it. It’s been a big part of helping me get back on my feet.

Im very happy to give this review .im a older woman and I found myself needing alot of help getting my life sorted out .I had no idea how I went to Hope and at first it wasnt going well .But I didn't give up on them.and they didn't give up on me Now im proud to say I was able to get my life back on track and im doing great I couldn't have done this with out the help of my team from Hope .I want to say to anyone needing help .be patient .hold your temper and give them a chance .they really want to help and will .dont give up on Hope or yourself

I just want to say Justin’s light house changed my life and everything I was going threw. I was addicted to meth and got into some trouble and found Justin’s light house. The owners Myles and Tina Lewis are the sweetest people and I owe so much to them helping me getting me off drugs. God was there for me to. I prayed when I first got there for him to help me with all of the mess I was in. I meet alot of sweet girls there and are still very good friends with one of them. We had some good times there. This place made recovery fun. If I ever had to go back I would pick this place. I don’t see that happening cause they did such a good job. My husband and I began attending (SOTS) “Southern Oklahoma Treatment.” However, they were shut down after about four years of treatment. Subsequently, we switched to RightWay Medical, and they have been incredibly helpful. There have been a few instances where they made mistakes. For instance, Carla, one of our former nurses, miscalculated my dose. At that time, I was taking 140 mg, but she gave me only about 100 mg. I usually can tell by the amount in the bottle and how long I’ve been on that dosage. I would check my bottles after receiving them, and they would be fuller than when Carla dosed me. So, I didn’t think to check my take-home doses at the time because they usually paid close attention. However, for some reason, she wasn’t paying attention that day. When I got home, I noticed that my bottle was almost empty. It wasn’t full like it should have been. When I contacted them, they informed me that it was already too late because I had already left the facility. I realized that I should have checked my dose before leaving. That was the first time my medication was messed up, and it’s only happened once since then. The only other issue I’ve had with them was a failed urine test. I had to undergo a drug screen, and it indicated that I had narcotics in my system when I knew I didn’t. I asked them to resend the test and investigate further because I was innocent and knew I hadn’t taken anything besides my Methadone. However, I was still in trouble and had to visit them daily for about three or three and a half weeks.

City rescue mission was definitely a blessing to be accepted in! What started out for my family as rock bottom became a firm foundation for my kids to grow! My case worker Mrs. Nakia was down right one of my favorites she literally heard my story seen my need and pointed me in the right direction! I’m forever grateful for the rescue mission being able to have time to restore my mental and get into a space where I was able to think as well as grow!
