About Jesus House

Jesus House is an addiction and mental health treatment facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that’s devoted to aiding men and women with addiction to find lasting recovery through Jesus Christ. The facility provides free residential addiction recovery services. They also have a program offering hot meals as well as clothing and groceries to homeless and low income city residents.

Since this facility offers free care, you won’t need insurance or any money to participate in their programs. The Life Transition Program (LTP) allows interested adults to stay in the facility for up to one year. During their stay residents will be physically and spiritually provided for. They’ll have access to food and clothing as well as shelter and spiritual guidance.

Residents will go to regular meetings with a case manager. During meetings, residents will discuss their dreams and struggles as well as any issues they’re facing. The case manager will help provide spiritual guidance and create achievable goals with compassion to each person as they recover. The first six months of the program are often the most difficult, especially if you’re going through physical withdrawal or coming out of a traumatic circumstance. For about four to six hours every day you’ll start building routines through work therapy while growing in service to the community and yourself.

One great thing about this facility is they offer food stability for those in need. The Daily Food Line program offers one hot meal each day. The Food Basket Program is a first come, first serve service that offers baskets containing enough food for up to four days for a family of four.

The facility has mixed reviews from former patients with most of them being positive.

Good place but they will always take the females side even when your in the right and they are in the wrong and one of the staff had a relationship with one of the patients there which is absurd and ridiculous.

They laughed at me when I asked if they could accommodate a serious food allergy. I guess the homeless with allergies aren t allowed to eat. Thanks for that.

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Linden Oaks' Residential Stay Program offers additional support for those who may benefit from a structured living environment. A patient's stay may vary from a few days to 30 days ago. The program includes group, family and individual counseling.

I wanna know what happened to Johnny Geels! He didn't just disappear from the face of this earth, everything points back to the Jesus house, he called his mom and child every day and now he just disappeared? Supposedly he was kicked out for letting someone have an energy drink, he had no identification, no phone, no money and family was not notified, something seems very wrong and it all points back to the Jesus house, somebody has got to know something

I'm not a big fan of Jesus House but they do what they say they do. Jesus House is responsible for a lot of homelessness in that area of Oklahoma City. However they have a food bank with clothing so if you ever need help with food or clothing they'll help you however I can't tell you anything about the food bank and clothing outreach.
