This place helped me so much. I finally got diagnosed accurately, and put on medication that actually helps me so much! I loved the staff, and the doctors were also very nice. I met some cool patients as well, but of course that's the one down side is you will be around some angry and unpredictable patients. I got along with pretty much everyone personally. Definitely recommend this place if you're struggling with mental health! They are all so nice and patient!

This was probably one of the best places I went to. I was really struggling with mental health issues and other problems and they really made me feel safe and validated. We got to see and visit our parents on the weekends and they had a vending machine so they could bring us snacks. Our parents could bring us bedding and shower products. We got to wear our own clothes and shoes. We had groups and lessons we did everyday and we're able to go outside most of time and play basketball. The food wasn't too bad and was mostly like school food and on holidays we got really good food and the staff would bring in the food they made which was really good. They really helped me when I was struggling and the staff and people I met along the way were so nice to me. They really outdid themselves and understood that we're just kids struggling and trying to better ourselves. I was able to go on pass and visit my family for a day outside of the place which was nice because I hadn't seen them in a long time. The groups and lessons they taught us really helped me be able to ground myself and cope a lot better than before. Ms. Mary really helped me with my issues and was able to get me out of there in a month. This place is one of the better mental hospitals and if your going to send your kid to one you should look at your options and this one would probably be the best choice to choose from.

A family member recently completed the recovery program at Country Road Recovery Center, and I cannot say enough good things about them. He had dealt with addiction for many years. In terms of being in the program, he recently said "It was the best things I've ever done and I wish I had done it sooner". When he completed the program, they helped him with placement in a sober living house and arranged for his attendance in an intensive outpatient program. They care about their patients. Our family highly recommends Country Road for addiction treatment.

This review is for the adult unit. My stay here was an overwhelmingly positive experience. I was treated respectfully by staff the whole time, and came away with useful, practical tools to improve my mental health going forward. A few of the staff are absolutely exceptional and it's clear they were put on earth to do this job- Mr. Tracy, Ms. Melissa, Mr. Dan, and Ms. Dee Dee included. I received just as much help from the other patients as well, many of whom were caring and empathetic. It will be a great source of comfort in the future to know that this place is available should I ever need help again, I would not hesitate to go back. With that being said, your stay is absolutely what you make of it- to be truly successful you need to be proactive and actively participate in your own recovery.

I would not recommend Oakwood Springs at all! I was a voluntary admission for alcohol detox. The detox part worked OK as they drugged me into unconsciousness for 3 days. Once I finally woke up high as a kite, I knew they were overmedicating me and I wanted to leave. Please note: This is a LOCKDOWN FACILITY. They would not let me leave despite my wife and parents both going up there to get me released. They said I was too medicated to leave! On top of that, they started taking away the few privileges I had because I wanted to leave. They wouldn't let me go outside and wouldn't let me even eat with the group. This is a really crappy facility for voluntary patients and the staff seemed like they don't care. I was lucky to find one person there that did care and he was able to get me out of there to a rehab facility. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Voluntary in does not equal voluntary out.

I am just beginning the process for treatment of Depression (stemming from homelessness). I do not have a SMI other than Depression. It is a mild to moderate case, pending my situation. I have concerns: What are "psychodynamic medications" - it sounds very manipulative; the LOC is Outpatient treatment which states it focuses on Mental Illness and Addiction, but does not; It is listed that there is no Individual Therapy; yet, later it states it as a treatment modality; what is the use of Experential Therapy with Addiction and Mental Illness (seems experimental, not evidenced-based); there seems to be a limited use of different treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions. CBT is over-used (that because the founders Aaron Beck and his daughter Julie have pumped huge amounts of money into marketing their product). Furthermore, CBT, has been proven to Evidenced-based only on certain conditions, not ALL. It does work with addiction and SOME mental illnesses. These are my concerns. KC

You can let them know daily about subjects you would like to discuss in future groups. You assess your self daily so you and the staff can track your progress. Aimee, Valencia Christina and Ali are excellent in each of their specific areas of expertise. Then there is Dr. Bobby who is highly skilled in this field as well.

I had difficulty initially because I assumed I would be prescribed medication right away. I had to wait 3 months for a provider visit, so, in the meantime, I explained to my PCP and was able to get a few safe medications while waiting. I got into a therapist who has helped me beyond measure and is extremely good at her job. All of the staff I have encountered have been polite, nonjudgmental, professional, and helpful to my mental health journey. I have not had one single bad experience in the past year of going there 2-3 times a month (excluding the obvious difficult but necessary stuff) They have resources to help you in so many capacities and I encourage those who can be patient to give them the opportunity to be helpful.

Valley Hope has changed my life. I went from isolation in a motel room doing drugs, to being a productive citizen. I’ve been sober 54 days today and a huge part is because of Valley Hope. Patricia Davis is the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever encountered. This is the second time she has been rude (I’ve reported her two times) and has had horrible bedside manner with me. She stated today “what don’t you get” “what don’t you understand” “you’re wasting my time” just to say a few of her wording. I will be needing another provider because Patricia is NOT for the patient nor their needs. I suggest she relearn her manners and question herself WHY she became a doctor in the first place.

When I entered through the hospital doors I first saw a check-in desk.After
Checking in another lady offered to guide me to the office of my appointment. I was immediately greeted when I got to Dr. Nabi's office. The wait wasn't long and everyone was very pleasant. There were beautiful Christmas trees in various areas of the hospital that I really enjoyed!
All of my test results were back by the next day. Every time I go to Integris I am pleased with my care.

My granddaughter has been inpatient there 2 times. This last time really helped her. She hasn't had any issues since she was discharged. The staff were very friendly and polite. If she needed any thing they were there to help her . And let us know what she needed. Thank you all the staff for taking such good care of Annie .

I took my grandson H S & K today for counciling. He has some anger issues, responsibility problems and a few other personality quirks (normal teenager) that has gotten him into trouble.
This was his 2nd visit and so far he seems to be okay with it. I don't get to go with him but I understand that. I believe his parents are on the right track.
