I'm an army veteran I can only say this is the only good thing about Muskogee Oklahoma the fact that I can go to the VA and get certain things and Medical Care sometimes it's good but there's doctors up there that I don't agree with there's been times where I have to stay forcefully and go in front of a judge that I know already from childhood and it's quite irritating because he looked at me as a child and as a veteran and it's hard to distinguish if he's punishing me for being mentally ill or for something I did it back in my teenage years having a mental illness is not easy you have to deal with people asking you stupid things like why are you so excited all the time well it's better than being suicidal like all my friends who killed herself in the past behind drinking and drugs and the fact that they couldn't get any help at their local VA I hope that the VA will separate civilians and Veterans it's not a good thing to have him so close in the same area all the time civilians don't really know what we go through because they don't go through anything they left a mark they hang up the phone they're very disrespectful and they really need to do a revamp on the employment the only time anyone is nice at the VA is when it's a holiday for the veterans that seems like the only time they care but throughout the rest of the year it's all hurry up over counseling appointment oh never mind

The Metal health care facility is amazing. The Dr's RNs and CNA's are caring and well organized.
I really appreciate how well I was treated and even the Nintendo Bowling!
The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the beds could use an upgrade, although I still was able to get sleep on them.
I had a 3 day stay and left in much better condition than I came in.

I was given the gift of being a residential patient at Monarch the summer of 2017. I was finally ready to begin practicing honesty, open mindedness, and willingness. Monarch gave me the gift of time for sobriety, clarity, and the TOOLS to BEGIN my recovery. I am eternally grateful for my time there. The staff shared their personal experiences, strenght and hope...which is unparallelI. They were honest and direct with me. They helped teach me living skills verses survival skills. My husband was taken to St. Francis. He passed away from complications from Parkinson’s last May. During his stay he received the best care from ER and ICU all Doctors, Nurses and staff. In the end we gave my husband hospice care. The hospice staff Doctors , nurses , ministers and hospital staff were exceptional. With their care of him and our family.

Like any hospital, ups and downs, based on staff courtesy and care, I like any st Francis location to be honest,, better than any hospital in Oklahoma, I hated mcalester regional in mcalester ok, not a fan either of Hillcrest or at John's, anymore, it's changed, the only problem I had was one doctor, other than this, they seemed caring, just talk to the right people with the right questions

Jack Brown Center helps Native American juveniles to stop an active addiction while learning to live and cope without the source for the addiction. The staff that was there during my stay was an exceptional group of people. A day is always busy with a large variety of activities such as basketball, kickball, weight lifting, trust fall, disc golf, 12 step meeting's, chess, billiards, Native American chants, going in a Cherokee(I think) sweat lodge, help cooking meals once earned, learning to sew, and my favorite game we referred to as, hoccer, which involved a massive 5' or 6' yoga like ball. At the time I didn't always see it, but the rules were reasonable and helpful such as room had to stay clean, bed was made daily and one form of discipline for breaking rules was to write out a given sentence about the infraction many times. I was even allowed to paint the Choctaw nation seal on the wall while there, although my time was done before I was able to finish so hopefully someone else did. This changed my life drastically and I am always thankful for my experience at the Jack Brown Center!

I came into the program completely defeated I was very bad on drugs with no hope and just empty inside I knew I had to change or I was going to die or be in prison and never be apart of my kids life. Since being at Freedom House I’m no longer bound by addiction and I’m able to be a positive safe mom for my children and since completing the program I stayed to serve at Freedom House as an intern and God has truly changed my life and my destination here! This program is the best place if you want to truly be set free! ✝️

I was a student at Freedom House almost 5 years ago , and I returned to do restoration after completion. Freedom House saved my life. The Holy Spirit is in that house. There is peace unspeakable there and true love from the staff. I learned how to become a women after God's own heart while I was there. Always made me feel welcome and part of a family. I have been a patient here for several years. The staff is amazing, encouraging, and supportive. The rude lady at the dosing window (mentioned in other reviews) hasn't worked there for a long time. The ladies working the dosing window now are both very sweet and friendly. If tou go in to be assessed , beware - You're going to have to be in real withdrawal when you go in for the first time. I don't mean 'trust me I feel like crap' withdrawal, I mean 'puking and shitting on yourself, soaked with sweat but freezing cold, shaking, eyes watering, nose running, clearly obvious' withdrawal. It really looks like the majority of the negative reviews are from potential patients who were unwilling to fully cooperate. This is such an awesome place to go to! I’ve been going here for almost two years and the staff and counselors at this location are just simply amazing! The nurses at the windows, the amazing staff at the front desk, and all the way to back to the director and Doctor of this clinic are absolutely the most down to earth, friendliest people I’ve ever met! If you have a strong mind and you really want better for yourself I highly recommend this clinic is the best for you! CTC has absolutely been an amazing experience for me and will continue to be! I tried but failed at 2 other rehabs, half- way houses and hundreds of AA, NA and CA meetings (helped me stay clean for months at a time, but always temporary and I always relapsed). I recently went to this facility. This program has helped me get my life back. I was headed down a bad path where I wasn't going to be able to accomplish what I wanted to do in life so I seeked help. The staff here was very helpful and completely dedicated to improving peoples lives and showing them the way to live a drug free life. The sauna program was amazing!!!! I truly don't have the craving to use drugs anymore. It's something I have struggled with for most of my life and its completely gone. I never believed it was possible but I don't have any problems with wanting to get back on drugs. The courses that are administered here seemed silly to me at first but everyday that goes by I see them helping me in all the areas of my life more and more. I am thankful I made the decision to go here. I'm a more productive person than I have ever been. My communication skills are better than ever before. My relationships are better everyday and still improving with the information

They always call me back when I get transferred and have to leave a message. There all so nice everytime I call. They transfer me to the right person and everytime I'm in there I'm usually in n out in about an hour. Staff is awesome.

The only reason I’m leaving a 5 star is due to Jennifer Scoggins in Administration.
After being denied to be seen after I was transferred from Choctaw nation and having my role number, the lady in dental refused to let me go to the appointment that I made because I didn’t have a physical card on me. I’m not going to lie, I was so mad I was in tears after waiting over a month for the appt. and being in pain (wisdom teeth need to be removed). The blonde lady at the front desk of admin was super kind and led me to Jennifer. She pulled every string she could to try to help me and even tried getting me seen via emergency but time was of essence. I don’t want to return to their dental due to the attitude from the lady working the desk, but unfortunately I have to due to living in this region. So for dental, 0/5. Jennifer and the ladies in admin, 10/5.

Before I was disabled
I cried for God
I needed it's love
I prayed for the spirit of God
I stood in front of the tv
I placed my hand on my forehead
I felt a tingling sensation enter my forehead
At the same moment the TV started to fizz out black and white.
Slowly the tingling spered down to my mid body as the tv fizzed out completely in perfect syncronization
Suddenly WAM a rush unlike anything I have ever felt shot through my body
At the same moment the TV went pitch black
I was frozen the entire time with my hand on my forehead staring at the screen
Then my body went back to a complete tingling and the screen went to a black and white fizz.
Slowly everything's faded back to normal and
I had been baptized with God's very soul
It has guided me ever since.
When I fall away it guides me back stronger than afore because facing trouble and overcoming makes us stronger.

We tried over 50 facilities for this patient and Brookhaven is the only one who could treat brain injury, mental health issues AND was willing to work with Medicaid. The case manager was very helpful and caring. Unfortunately Medicaid would not fund but I’m so grateful for the help!
