I would be in a very bad place without the help of GLMHC. Depression is a tough foe, but the good people at Grand have been a vital ally and friend in that fight. I owe them everything for all the help they have given me, and I most definitely recommend them to anyone who is struggling with their mental health. There is no shame in getting help. I don't regret doing so and hopefully you won't either.

Got right in and got the help I needed, over helped to be honest. Took a few visits though until I could see the doctor and nurse to get everything figured out with my medication which is understandable but took a bit long. When getting refills they tell me to call in a couple days early but when I do they wont at least call it in to pharmacy until I call the day its due and im out and then I wait and hope meds will be done that day. But other than that just got to be patient. Having adhd that's a difficult task ☺️

THIS place is a MIRACLE! Been going for years and I STILL can't believe it exists! I mean.......,this is a place who treats DRUG ADDICTS!!!!!! AS IF........, They are Human Beings! It provides them a safe civilized place to acquire what they themselves(& the Dr. too of course) feel they need in about 5 minutes a visit. Like the convenience store. And with that outta the way most of them have nothing to do other than focus on Thier lives & get jobs & eventually start weening themselves off because that being treated with a little dignity and self respect(UNHEARD OF in addict culture) becomes the addiction! It's the one thing or technically 2 we've never felt. Dignity & Self Respect! It's why Liquor stores & gas station clerks aren't being held up and murdered on the news every other night by desperate homeless drug addicts on the news anymore like the good ol 80's & 90's!

My counselor has helped me in more aspects of my life than just addiction treatment. She has encouraged me to get help with my mental and emotional past. She truly cares about each and every one of her patients and she will tell you how it is and not beat around the bush. And that's what I appreciate about her. She makes sure that I am doing ok as I'm weaning myself of the methadone currently and helps me with problems that I don't speak to anyone else about. So M. If you ever read this thank you for everything you have done for me

Its been 5 years since I was a patient here, but my experience was very impactful and I wanted to share now that im an adult. Also want to note my younger sister has been in recent years and shares my positive experiences. Growing up I went inpatient a lot and was very troubled, I felt hopeless and scared. The Calm Center does not just slap a label on kids and teens like some other facilities in the area, the staff are understanding, patient and compassionate people who are relatable in many ways and teach actual coping skills that help in day to day life. I believe forgive me if I get names wrong but Mr. Corey does groups that I still think about to this day that taught me lessons and helped me see different perspectives. Mr. Jimmy and one of the Therapists Spencer were also very kind to me and helped me realize that there are safe, kind, and caring men in the world. Growing up I had a very complicated relationship with my father, and I had talked a bit about that when I was there. Nearly every day I smile or sometimes cry when I recall that at my leaving ceremony Mr. Jimmy told me that any man should be proud to have me as a daughter, I wish I could express how much that has impacted and healed me. Thank you guys for all you do for the youth of Tulsa and beyond!

I have been a patient here for several years. The staff is amazing, encouraging, and supportive. The rude lady at the dosing window (mentioned in other reviews) hasn't worked there for a long time. The ladies working the dosing window now are both very sweet and friendly. If tou go in to be assessed , beware - You're going to have to be in real withdrawal when you go in for the first time. I don't mean 'trust me I feel like crap' withdrawal, I mean 'puking and shitting on yourself, soaked with sweat but freezing cold, shaking, eyes watering, nose running, clearly obvious' withdrawal. It really looks like the majority of the negative reviews are from potential patients who were unwilling to fully cooperate. I want to point something out. I was in this boys home for four years. Those were the best years of my life. I had very tough times but the staff stuck with me and helped me out. I’m seeing a lot of bad reviews that don’t make sense to the boys home that I know. There is one that kicks the side of me like a truck, it’s the review about Rylan Harris. I personally knew this young man and he took it upon himself to break the rules and put himself in harms way. Unfortunately he passed. I know of some other kids that the same thing happened to and I could’ve been one of them cause I would run away. Kids aren’t running away cause this place is abusive like you people want to claim. They are running away because they don’t like the authority above them. Now may God bless those families who lost someone, some little boy that was in some sort of accident. But don’t blame the staff. The staff do everything they can and have rules and policies preventing things that I know for a fact they follow. They don’t like some of them but in order to keep the job that continues helping young men they have to. This place is not a bad place. I stuck out four years here. I got out three years ago and since then I’ve bought several of my own cars, kept a good paying job, and pay my own bills. I’m 20 years old. DO NOT BLAME THE STAFF. If a staff member did something wrong I have full belief and trust in the management taking action. And if this isn’t enough to stop all the hate sending these people’s way than all of you are no better than who you say they are

Some of these other reviews seem very misleading. It is my understanding that this hospital shares a name with the hospital in a video game? So that’s why some of the pictures on reviews are a video game characters. Regardless, it is my understanding. Also that Brookhaven no longer has a ward for just drug use or mental health. All patients have brain injuries. Our nephew was at Brookhaven for several months getting treatment for his brain injury and struggles with acting out and my family has nothing but the best to say about their care. His therapist called us regularly and listened to what we had to say and his treatment really worked. He’s not living somewhat independently with no problems and appreciate medicine. I think some of these very old reviews need to be taken down

I've been very satisfied with my experiences using FCS after iniating care through the crisis care center. The contrast between the experience I've had with FCS compared to Grand are EXTREME - the people at FCS actually care about you and I never felt like anyone at Grand gave a damn about me. FCS makes sure to schedule my next appointments before the current appointment ends and they have been great about working with my impossibly busy schedule. They have even offered to advocate for me to my medical doctors for issues that keep getting written off as being related to my mental health when that actually isn't the case. When they say they are giving you a team, they mean it. If you need help between appointments you can call COPES and that actually goes into your chart so your team can follow up with you. Telehealth is very helpful - not only for obvious reasons but it is a big advantage for those of us that struggle with PTSD triggers in public places. Communication can get clunky with missed texts or telehealth not always working appropriately but that's not often. Reception can be a pain to deal with sometimes - occasionally rude but not often and a reception job can be a difficult role so I expect this to a degree at every business.

Reading comments from people really help, I pray that soon I'll have enough confidence to go do this or something like this, I'm just wanting to make sure I don't have to come back to this way of living cause I'm afraid of what it's going to do "mentally." I was so excited to finally get to use the H.O.W. Foundation to help us move! They sent out a crew of 5 guys who worked hard and were incredibly friendly. They loved on our dogs, too. (That’s a big deal to me lol) They even helped us take apart some furniture and put it back together. We had a pile of donation stuff in the garage of the rental house and they let me know the H.O.W foundation could come pick it up for us instead of us taking it somewhere and dropping it off. I forgot to call and schedule that until this week (we have to turn in keys on Saturday), and the thrift store guys were so accommodating. We just had to have the stuff boxed up, labeled and outside so they can grab it. We didn’t even have to be there. They called me when they were 15 mins out and called me to let me know they picked it up. I’m so glad I was able to use their services with this move. Their program is something that hits home for me, and seeing these guys work hard to get sober and not let their addiction define them really made me so proud for them! I will be supporting the H.O.W foundation any way I can!

I lost my insurance and had to fall back on my Indian Healthcare. I'd never been to this location before. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly every staff member was. The ladies at the front desk, the nurses, the lab technicians, everyone I talked to was kind and willing to answer all of my questions.
