Reception is hit or miss, as some are lovely and some are straight up rude. Ive had decent experience with therapists, and have little complaint other than huge case loads make it nearly impossible to schedule with any regularity, and makes rescheduling a nightmare. The Psychologist didn't listen to me during medication appts, and they cut my medication off claimimg i "hadn't been to my check-in" when the DR had pushed my appts way out. i wouldnt recommend Clarity for Medication, but would for counseling.

My experience With first assigned counsellor was horrific .Check their credentials before you start working with these people. The woman disclosed to me that she was on medication and had not found a therapist of her own yet and continuity told me side effects from medications that I was suffering from were imaginary. She was not a medical practitioner in any way just a L.C.S.W. With a B.S degree(bachelor of science) not medical. What's more alarming is she advertises herself as a physician online. When asked to discontinue Medications she threaten me with Loss of services.

Accepted Insurance

Clarity wellness Community works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

I highly advise not going here I've had 2 counselors and one prescriber who could not do their job and let their personnel opinions get in the way of factual mental health care not to mention one counselor lied to me and took 6 months to do something she said would help me which would be reaching out to get a referral appointment to get diagnosed so I could better my health care and the prescriber rapid cycled and pushed meds on me despite me telling her they were ineffective....go anywhere elsewhere for help

The receptionist are really friendly and super helpful! I love that you can just walk in for a crisis appointment anytime and they will find a counselor for you to talk to if yours is unavailable if you're having a really hard day. They have a crisis hotline and the people who answer are really nice and helpful. The atmosphere here is really welcoming. I love that the staff here helps me believe in myself by challenging me to think more positive and use healthy coping skills in my everyday life. I have felt more understood and less alone in my mental health journey here throughout the years. ❤️

Want your therapist to violate your HIPAA rights? Do you like it when your counselor gaslights you rather than treating you? Do you want a counselor with no clue or desire to treat trauma? Do you like your stress level increased the longer you're in therapy? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, Clarity Wellness is the mental health facility for you. The ONLY bright spot there is Kate Lewis. Any good counselors leave quickly due to the toxic environment. The actual counselors there care more about their personal emails than in treating anyone. Their need to feel superior to anyone seeking help far supercedes their desire to actually help.

There are no words to describe how much I do not recommend pursuing care through Clarity. If there was a zero star option, it would still be too many stars to adequately express how monumentally difficult it is to work with this organization. You will almost never be able to speak with anyone outside of the receptionists (who are hapless at best, negligently combative at worst). You will be transferred to voicemail inbox after voicemail inbox after voicemail inbox and will never receive a call back. I have had the incredible misfortune of working with Clarity for several years now and my overall mental well-being is far, far worse for my time spent trying to communicate with them. If there was another provider available to me, I would transfer care to them so quickly that my earthly body would utterly destroy the space-time continuum. Before pursuing care with Clarity, you may consider running headlong at maximum velocity into a brick wall because there is a good chance you will find that experience a little easier to navigate (and the headache you'll undoubtedly receive will still be far less severe than what you can look forward to as a Clarity patient on a weekly basis). May every god in every pantheon cover your undying soul in mercy if you seek care with Clarity.

I have mixed feelings about clarity. Well I was struggling spiritually and mentally at the time it helped me to give me structure back to my life by simply having the appointments. I don’t feel like the therapy they give is constructive in actually over coming trauma. (At least for me) It felt like the therapist was lying about his own knowledge of things. I could be wrong but I don’t like keeping anyone stuck especially if I claim to be doing the opposite. But I forgive him 🙏🏼 just going to say we don’t mix well and find a new therapist since I have to see one in order to be apart of my childrens lives !! Blessed be !

Clarity has some issues right now just like most businesses. My personal expirence is I have a consistent therapist that took the time to know me..well I have had a few that challenged me,and if your going thru something and your hateing on the place and you feel like they arnt treating fairly? It's ok it's part of the process. And the Dr knows me well and actually talks to me..and he always gives me his "Jerry Springer last thought" before the session ended.i gave 4 stars because nothings perfect and normal is just a setting on a dryer.

It really hurts me to see all these bad reviews, The day I was sent here I wasn’t even expecting to be in therapy… I had the nexplanon implant and about two months into having it I became suicidal.. went into my OBG to have it removed and they said it wasn’t the implant and that I needed to go in for an emergency visit.. went in completed paperwork and they got me right in… even though I stopped feeling suicidal about a week after I got the nexplanon removed I continued going and I’m glad I did… I adore my therapist. I don’t feel like I’m talking to a therapist when I talk to her I feel like I’m talking to a lifelong best friend.. dr rao has been so helpful and understanding as well as accommodating.. my body can’t tolerate medication well and he is always making adjustments and is available whenever I’m concerned. If I call when I don’t have an appointment because I need someone to talk too my therapist calls me back.

Do not go to therapy here. The receptionists do not know how to do their jobs, will schedule you for wrong times, will schedule you for when your therapist is not even at the office, AND if you’re transgender they will find a way to use your birth name and bounce between that and your real name when they call you. They have zero respect for their patients. They do not care how you feel. I know there aren’t many options in the area we live in but if you’re considering going to therapy, go ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
